The receptionist was so sweet to her and the facility was clean with seating meeting social distancing guidelines. My mom waited only a few minutes until she saw Ricky Emerson. He was so kind and patient with my mom who is 88 years young. I am very grateful that my mom is receiving such exceptional service and I highly recommend this facility.

I tried a different way to make an appointment. I went to their website to book an appointment on-line; www.advantage-hearing.com. Surprisingly, www.advantage-hearing.com took me to HearingLife.com. I double-checked to make sure I had entered the correct web address; I had. So I clicked on "book an appointment" on HearlingLife.com, entered my zip code (24055; a Virginia zip code). The web page response directed me to select an office in Temecula, California, saying it was the closest at only 7 miles. This did not seem accurate. So I chanced a look at a map of the united States. The office in Temecula is actually 2,455 miles from my home. A 2,455 mile drive to this 'nearest' office felt a bit far, so I rolled the dice and called them back. On this second phone call, as soon as my call rang through, I was disconnected. Nonplussed, I called a third time. The third call put me back into the "no one here has time to answer your call" loop, so I ventured forth and left a message asking for a return call. That's where we are at this moment. Waiting for a return call. I am having the oil changed in my car today, so I am ready for the cross-country road trip as soon as I know when they will see me. Hopefully not this afternoon. I don't think I can get there that fast.

The mental health nurse practitioner meets with you literally for about 8 minutes every 3 months. Your primary care physician will see you every six months. The same with dentistry. They will provide you with a mental health counselor. You see them in pediatrics for some reason. There are a few receptionists in pediatrics surrounded by windows where you check in. If you fail to physically check in but they see you waiting there, you will forfeit your appointment because they will not open their window to ask who you are and who you are seeing. Nor will your counselor who knows you have an appointment with them will come and get you. You get weighed at every appointment. Mental health, physical, dental. Mostly by the morbidly obese people who work there. If you need to call Paths be prepared to never be able to speak to a nurse. You are never a person anymore just a birthday. No one gives a crap about your healthcare, really right? Just get on a scale. And people wonder why there is a mental health crisis in this country?

As soon as my husband and I checked in, one of them took me back for my eye examination. I didn't have to wait long before the optometrist came in to do my exam. He was very professional and efficient. Needless to say, we'll be back in a year.

Just another no thank you to Dr Shroff and his services. I got a lab bill from lab corp today…read moretotaling over $3000 and no results to show for it. And really none of the labs was needed, they where repeats from my dr office. Except for an Hbv screening, a parvovirus 19 and a few others that was not even discussed and def not needed. Also a RA factor test which I had already been tested neg for and was not the reason I was there for. IF THIS DOCTOR HAD OF BOTHERED TO LISTEN AND READ MY CHART HE WOULD HAVE KNOWN I WAS POSITIVE FOR ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS. So please think twice before going to him. Thankfully I do have a little knowledge and read up on my diagnosis before seeing him. A shot in the hips does not fix every thing guys....Good luck
