I decided to go to UrgentCare of Louisiana one week after I became ill and 4 days of laringitus and just not feeling better. Dr. Anisha Turner is the BEST! She took tests and found I had Strep Throat. Not only did she give me a steroid shot, she prescribed me FIVE other meds that kicked in immediately and by that night I was 50% better and the next day I was 80% back to my healthy self. Ms. Yeates was very thorough--blood tests, chest x-rays, etc. All came by good, but then she took his blood pressure lying down, sitting up, and standing up. It dropped significantly at each change. No one else had ever done this. Now at least we have something specific to check out. In addition, they didn't take my husband's insurance so we had to pay out of pocket. Everything was just under $200. It would have cost us thousands at the ER. I've used this facility before, and I have always been pleased.

Fast Pace advertises this service on its website. I called them three days ago, and they confirmed that they could perform the lab tests. For the past two days, I have been calling repeatedly to check whether they had received the faxed lab order from my son's doctor. The doctor's office has confirmed that they sent the order twice. Today, when I called again, a member of the team told me that they do not accept lab orders from outside physicians. This clinic serves a small community with very limited healthcare services. They have lost a patient who has good private health insurance and, more importantly, a special medical condition that requires understanding, accommodation, and access to care.

Arrived at about 645pm with extreme pain and nausea from an abscessed tooth. The antibiotics the…read moredentist had prescribed were messing me up big time. Dr Joshua H listened to my explanation and assured me he'd help. He prescribed a new antibiotic, called it in and after picking it up I headed home. Within 3 hrs of taking it my nausea was GONE! Everyday that I took it the swelling and pain went down. By the time I made it to the dentist for treatment I only had a bit of swelling and pain. The Dr knows his stuff! Price was very affordable with my insurance and the support staff were helpful and pleasant despite it being at the end of their working day. Highly recommend them!
