So, when they get to the usual "school age", we all have to trust the teachers to continue the hard work that we have done since day 1. When I started looking into schools, I was very unimpressed by the selection that I had. I had toured 4 schools in the Fort Wayne area and not one stuck out to me. They were all the run of the mill, boring, mundane schools that focused on just getting through the day instead of really challenging the children... until I found Pine Hill. Just looking at their website got me excited! The amazing trips they went on, including meeting the mayor, visiting the historic Nickel Plate 765 steam engine, touring the art scene located in downtown Fort Wayne, all things I would LOVE to do as an adult! Every year they put on plays and many types of performances, which as SO dang cute and very well put together. Also, they are bilingual, all teachers are fluent in Spanish and they teach the children the children in both languages, making it so all the kids are fluent in both. Which is a GREAT skill to have (and great for resumes!) The student-teacher ratio is the best that I've come across in my search, making it so they get to know every student as an individual, which aides in their teaching style because they know what works and what doesn't for each student. Pine Hill is a great school, I am so grateful for the way they have helped my children grow and learn.

My nephew attended this day care. The administrative staff was not able to control their…read moreemployees. I know the word "control" sounds strange, but this is the word the administrator used when my nephew was drinking one of the employees hot coffee that continued to be placed on the children's table in the 2 year olds classroom. She stated she told the employees to keep their coffee out of the childrens reach, but they were not doing it. My neice had this conversation only after CPS contacted her because another parent reported her son and a list of other children drinking coffee, in addition to many other issues. This is a terrible environment for children who can not speak for themselves. Before enrolling your child, please contact the Fort Wayne CPS office for a list of complaints. I am shocked they are still in business!

Fast forward a few years and I've found that a few departments at USF employ stalkers. I've moved six times since graduation and never once updated the university, but they contact the postal service every year to get my current address so they can mail me junk. I've called USF, written letters, made more phone calls, and now, almost 16 years after graduation they are still stalking me, following me around the USA and mailing me their junk. Despite promises from different managers that they will stop stalking me their junk mail has not stopped and they always have my current address. I believe this stalking behavior may be evidence of a mental illness. Please consider this before you decide to attend. For the rest of your life they will mail you junk, waste natural resources, waste fuel and contribute to landfills, and worst of all, they will NOT stop.

Very easy to get to from any direction with plenty of parking and well maintained. Beautiful campus as you drive up you notice how well maintained the building is. Athletic center is covered with school spirit which lead to increased excitement for my gold to attend camp. Once inside the same maintenance is noticed. Volleyball courts are legal size and pristine. It's gorgeous inside. The staff of the camp was a tad short In my opinion. There didn't seem to be enough staff to campers. Which I why I held back a star. Although it did seem to be organized. The campers knew where they were supposed to be and when. The other bad issue was when the program director, or anyone, is talking you cannot hear them. I'm not sure if it's their voice or the athletic buildings acoustics. Either way a microphone was needed. My child enjoyed the camp. We would come again.

One thing became clear almost immediately: Go to an independent school - there are far fewer problems associated with it. Having found a couple of those companies, I looked to see if THEY had a school preference. By jingo, they don't. Just so long as you have a class A-C.D.L. license. With all endorsements, Including Hazmat and "TWIC". Ergo, I contacted C-1. I received Pre-hire letters from U.S. Express and Snyder Trucking. After telling them I was about to attend C-1. Including one from Central Refrigerated? CR said if I drove for three months they would hire me without going to their school. A month later I had passed "All endorsements with background check" and "TWIC". *****It's a breeze to "get all endorsements" with Hazmat, at C-1.***** Finally I paid for it with a credit card. With 0% interest first year, the school gave a cash discount. $3500. Without any student housing. The second cheapest for me would have been in Muncie IN. $4500. Without a motel at $210. per week X 4

Immediately upon enrollment I was getting help on what steps to do next. The school and its professors are very helpful and kind I definitely think despite it being a private college that it is worth the experience. I can't wait to finish up school and graduate from this college.
