My mother lost her life after her mommy makeover! She was unpleased with her boob job & the following week passed away due to complications.

I wanted to update on my post from several months ago on the poor surgical result and experience…read more(lack of reply to my issue) with Dr. Burns. It has now been approximately 8 months and still no reply regarding my issues from Dr. Burns or his office. I have since flown from Indy to Houston Texas and had my belly button revision. This is the first of what will be a two stage correction meaning I will travel again and pay again for a second revision procedure because of how poor my belly button was done initially. My current surgeon is perplexed by what exactly was done in my surgery with Burns. The only thing he can guess is that the incisions were closed with too much tension especially with the lower long scar he possibly took too much skin and had to pull the incision too tight causing the belly button to have constant pulling on my incisions. My long scar initially post op did start opening in a few spots which was told was normal and to put bacitracin on and keep it covered. Now I see this was also probably related to the the incision being closed too tightly. My low incision didn't heal great because of this as I said in my previous post but at least that could be covered with clothing etc. The revision has to be done in two steps since there was zero laxity left from my surgery with Burns. My new surgeon went in from the low incision and excised some of the excess scar tissue and took out the "outer circle incision" and has managed to actually tuck everything in (scar and incision) to be moreso hidden inside the bellybutton as new technique is done versus the antiquated "circle" around the whole outside of the bellybutton that Burns did. My next surgery will be to hopefully make the belly button smaller and tuck everything in further. My new surgeon didn't have the laxity at this point to work with requiring the second surgery I will need. To add my new surgeon who is truly an artist and updated in his techniques also completely revised my low scar and took out the widened areas that was caused my by initial incision being too tight and pulling open. He did this as a courtesy at no charge. After my next revision procedure when things are all healed up I will post before and afters - at this point I am still self conscious about it despite it being so much better that it was with Dr. Burns result. My new lower revised incision looks fantastic however and from week four was thin and you really had to look for it!!! He brought it lower and into my contour more... I really didn't realize how subpar my low incision even was as I was so focused on my poor belly button result. At this point I am out SO much money between my initial travel to Dallas for Dr Burns and two subsequent visits with Dr Burns again traveling from Indianapolis for him to attempt to "fix it." Airfares, hotels rental cars x 3 Dallas trips. My initial request was asking Dr Burns to refund my tummy tuck fee portion of my initial surgery cost which went unanswered. With all of my other expenses and now my revision procedures x 2 and subsequent travel across the US I have/am spending a fortune to fix Dr Burns poor work. What I asked of Dr Burns was a small small amount in the big scheme of things. The fact that I have still not received any reply to my initial emails and request speaks volumes to me about Dr Burns and his true charachter. Like I said prior these people will seem over the top friendly and caring, and Dr Burns will email you and respond to your emails personally until you have a problem or concern and then it will fall upon deaf ears and you will not get a reply. If you are seeking a surgeon once again I would advise you to keep looking. I found Dr Burns on TikTok and truly wished I didn't fall for the cutesy comedy videos and fake persona that they/he portrays - I wish I would have went with someone who was spending their free time updating their outdated techniques. Someone who is more focused on my surgery than perhaps rushing through it to go make the next TikTok video. I will keep sharing my result and experience on this platform and others in hopes that it helps others. Dr Burns has recently renovated his fancy office and practice suite yet could not have the decency to refund a very small nominal amount of money for his mistake. That tells me all I need to know about who he truly is as a person and what his priorities are.

And the girl was rather rude when she did finally come out because by that time the office was closed. Even the receptionist left before anyone came out... During the wait time I discovered the doctor I was seeing was basically finishing his training. Uh no.. I expected to see an experienced surgeon. I'm really mad I wasn't told this prior to making an appointment and paying. I would've never made the appointment. I searched for the doctor trainee and I couldn't find any reviews or before and after photos of anything he's ever done. Sorry not going to be someone's practice dummy. I am highly pissed I took off work early drove to the other side of town for nothing. And now that it's after 5pm I get to battle traffic for 45 mins to get home.

At my 3-month appointment, I expressed concerns because I didn't see any improvement. I was told to wait until my 6-month follow-up, which took place on October 25, 2025. During that appointment, the doctor agreed that there had been no change. Instead of discussing a revision, he discouraged it and tried to push a tummy tuck at his private practice. I later spoke with Yaritza about receiving a full refund, and she said she would need approval from her District Supervisor, Erin Petty. A week went by with no update, so I called back and was informed that I could not get a refund!! I requested Erin's email. I emailed her and several others on November 5, 2025 and I still have not received a response. I've reached out to Yaritza three times since then, and she has not replied either. This company pressures you into getting the procedure, promises results, and then completely fails to deliver. They think it's acceptable to keep your $10,000 without addressing the harm that was caused or the fact that the procedure produced no results at all. I will not rest until this issue is rectified!! Matthew got us set up with an appointment and walked us through the basics of BHRT (Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy) and women's hormone therapy. She took the time to explain everything about testosterone and estrogen balance and how pellet therapy works. We left feeling informed and hopeful, with way more clarity than we ever expected. We're going back soon to start treatment, and we feel really confident about it. I'd definitely recommend Total Med Solutions to anyone looking for help with women's hormones, BHRT, or testosterone therapy in the Dallas area.

This was my third procedure with Dr. Steven J. White in Dallas, Texas. Dr. White did my…read moreabdominoplasty (tummy tuck), arm liposuction, and most recently, my breast reduction and I couldn't be happier. I can honestly say that I am glad I returned to do this procedure with Dr. White because he is simply the best. I was reluctant to do breast reduction at first because my friends had warned me about blood clots and things going wrong because of my age (60) etc. I am from California, so I confess that I consulted with two other plastic surgeons before doing my breast reduction, one of them is a famous reality TV plastic surgeon based in Southern California. Although I had done two successful surgeries with Dr. White, out of curiosity, I decided to get a consultation with "Dr. D". I must say that I was disappointed in that consultation with "Dr. D" because I didn't feel that confidence and professionalism that Dr. White exudes. Dr. White's expertise is top notch! He explains everything to you step by step. He makes you feel safe and gives you that feeling that you truly are dealing with someone with a high level of expertise that I appreciate because I know he will get it done right. And he does! Every single time without fail. This is why I chose Dr. White again and I will always choose him over any other plastic surgeon. Dr. White is a master at perfection. I was also disappointed with "Dr. Ds" staff, who are not as knowledgeable, friendly, or wonderful as Dr. White's team: the ladies are not only beautiful, but they are extremely knowledgeable and intelligent as well. They make you feel right at home. Dr. White's office is also always very neat, tidy, and elegant, which speaks volumes of Dr. White's professionalism. After that consultation with "Dr. D" in California, I was convinced I had to come back to Dr. White, and I am ever so happy that I did. As usual, my breast reduction went very well just like my two other procedures. I stayed at the hospital for one night after surgery and Dr. White came to visit me the next day. That was wonderful! I appreciate that because he took time away from his family and busy schedule to make sure I was fine. Everything went well so I was released to go home that day, and I didn't take a single Tylenol after I came home other than the prescribed pain meds the nurses gave me during my one-night stay at the hospital. I must say I have a high tolerance for pain; other patients may be different. I didn't take nausea meds either other than the emend pill 2 hours prior to surgery. After surgery, I put an ice pack on my tummy and that seemed to do the trick for me because I didn't have nausea at all. I still have not taken a single Tylenol or any other pain medication, and I am now four weeks into my recovery. After surgery, I was up and about the next day with mild discomfort and soreness, in fact, on day four of recovery, my husband drove us to my son's ring ceremony at Baylor University. No one could tell I had just had surgery! Dr. White also suggested I have Hyperbaric treatments to speed up healing and this is why I love Dr. White. He is always looking for the latest technology available to help his patients heal faster, be comfortable and pain free. When he recommended leg pumps to help prevent potential blood clots, I was elated! After my surgery, I immediately benefited from not having that horrible back pain that I used to have because of my large breasts. I feel great! One thing I like the most about my results is that I look at my breasts, and I cannot believe how beautiful and perfect they are! Thank you so much Dr. White! He is the very best. I recommend Dr. White most highly.

By the time the surgery came I knew exactly what to expect as far as procedure, recovery, medications and continued service. I was absolutely impressed that this would be at a hospital and I would spend two days under supervision of Dr. White and nurses. The experience at the hospital was 5 stars alone. Loved my nurses! I have gone through this procedure before with another surgeon and it was nothing like this. Lack of knowledge and research on my part led to poor results 15 years ago. I never imagined anyone could fix my previous results. Dr. White gave me hope and he surpassed my expectations. Its not a quick process on his end, there are steps I am taking to have the best outcome. Its working! My recovery has been a piece of cake. I personally experienced minimal pain. I still can not believe how easy it was for me to be up and moving around with in days. Dr. White welcomes me into his office with the biggest smile and genuinely seems happy to see my progress. That made it well worth the 15 year wait for the right surgeon. My husband, who did not want me to have a second surgery was truly amazed by the work Dr. White did for me. He couldn't believe that I had no bruising and he was happy with the results. He asked several questions at each of my appointments and Dr. White was eager to answer. We never felt rushed to leave. If your looking for a OUTSTANDING Cosmetic Surgeon then start here. Your in the best hands! Your health should be trusted by someone who cares about your results. He takes pride in what he does and that certainly showed. Thank you so much to Dr. White and his amazing staff. Each of you are equally amazing. We appreciate all that you have done for me.

***Update*** I'm…read moreupdating this review after reading Dr. Toledo's reply, which is completely inaccurate and misleading. To set the record straight: not once did he ask any mental health questions, perform any kind of evaluation, or have the right to make such a reckless claim about me. My appointment lasted less than 10 minutes total - not "almost an hour" as he claims. The imaging portion took under a minute, and the moment I asked to see a few small adjustments, he became visibly impatient and dismissive. He walked out and returned saying he "can't fix my brain" and that I'd be "nitpicking every angle." That comment was degrading, completely uncalled for, and crossed every line of professionalism. Declining a surgery is one thing. Lying publicly about a patient's mental health to justify disrespectful behavior is another. His response is not only dishonest but manipulative, and it shows exactly the type of arrogance I experienced in that room. I stand by every single word of my review..no patient deserves to be spoken to or treated this way. ------------------------------------ I am deeply hurt and disappointed by my recent consultation with Dr. Toledo. I previously had a minor surgery with him back in June that went very well, so I was excited to come back for a rhinoplasty consultation. Sadly, this experience left me in tears and I've never looked at myself this way the way I've been insulted by someone I trusted so much. At first, he was direct, which I appreciated because not a lot of doctors are..I'll give him that. But once we got to the imaging, things went downhill. He spent about 10 secs creating one potential outcome on the computer and expected me to accept it without further discussion. When I asked questions and requested a few tweaks so I could see every angle, he became dismissive. The entire "consult" was 5 mins including the time I walked in the door and he came in the room, to me sitting down for imaging. Dr. Toledo left the room, then came back sighing and told his nurse he "can't perform on me" because I "have body dysmorphia." He then said he "can't fix my brain" and grabbed a mirror saying I'd be "nitpicking every angle of my nose". This was all because I wanted a consultation longer than a few mins to make sure I understood the results before investing my hard-earned money for something I've wanted for my birthday/grad/Christmas gift to myself. He said "he doesn't perform on people like that" implying there's something wrong with me. I was so shocked and hurt. I took off work early for this appointment and was genuinely excited, but instead I was insulted and left in tears. I never expected this from anyone especially a doctor I trusted. No patient deserves to be treated this way. I will also be reporting this experience to the medical board.

Overall, my results exceeded my expectation, and I have full confidence in recommending Dr. Toledo to others.

I had just had twins that weren't walking yet so I explained I couldn't have surgery until they were walking. Sadly, my kids are almost two and still not walking, but I arranged with family to be able to not need to lift them and to schedule surgery for September. I was SO EXCITED! I called to put down my deposit, but was told that because it had almost been a year since my initial consult that I needed to come in again, so I did and was appreciative that I wasn't going to be charged another consult fee. The nurse and staff were all so kind in explaining this to me so I scheduled the second visit. After having pleasant conversations with the aesthetician and nurse, Dr. Khan comes in and seemed different than our first visit (which btw I thought fondly of her from), in this visit she hastily took my measurements again and explained that my breasts were now much more saggy and I needed not just implants, but a lift. I didn't understand her thought process so I explained that and that I didn't want more scars which would be involved with a lift. She then said, "Let me put this into terms you'll understand, you know when you fill a grocery bag with more stuff and it just sags..." ... I think asked, "Do you think my nipples are going to be downward facing if I don't do the lift too?" And she said "I don't know, but that's why you come to me and not Dr. Google." Honestly, I just didn't understand why I couldn't get a better explanation for the lift and maybe I do need one, but if she was treating me like this during consult then I didn't think she would take any of my other questions very well either. My feelings were hurt, I was so excited to schedule surgery coming in, but she didn't seem interested in helping me so I decided to just leave and booked an appointment with another surgeon in the area.
