I am just at 3 weeks post op from a lower blepharoplasty with fat transfer AND I am feel better than ever! The process from start to finish has been handled with a great amount of care and I am so glad that I went with Dr. Watumull and team. During the consultation I felt like all of my areas of concern were addressed and taken seriously. I did not feel rush in any way to make an overall decision. I worked with Heidi who very thoughtfully discussed payment options and brainstormed with me on what would be best for my situation. It was refreshing to have this level of thoughtfulness. It has been 3 years and these ugly scars across the back of my legs are still VERY present due to this Dr's results. These scars are also under my breasts and I feel like Frankenstein. I had a simple skin lift, not a butt job, not a thigh lift, just a skin lift to remove a tiny amount of hanging thigh skin and was cut all across the back of my thighs when I expected the cut to be much less than this. I told the Dr. that I felt the sutures did not saturate and that maybe he should remove them and he assured me they were gone, and as you see it looks like the skin healed over something. I have NEVER had keloids or scars my ENTIRE life and came in completely healthy and scar free. My breasts also have these scars after 3 years. I was not informed to properly have them massaged to cycle blood nor did they offer any service and this was the 1st, only, and last cosmetic surgery I have ever had which i regret greatly!! The nurse Taylor was the only one who suggested massaging after I began bringing up concerns and attention to it, and I don't feel that I received intense post care advice AT ALL! I basically paid over 20k to be scarred up and had to pay extra to another surgeon to redo his labiaplasty mess that should have been simple. If they offered to correct these problems without making me pay for anesthesia or if they sent me to get skin graphed and assisted in paying for that I would feel better about it and may have left a 3 star review but I didn't even get that. (Part 1) Consumer Beware- I suffered medical malpractice at the negligent hands of Dr. Joshua A. Lemmon and his unempathic nurse Janice. I am a breast cancer survivor and hired Dr. Lemmon for my reconstruction, based on the recommendation of my breast surgeon, Dr. Jenevieve Hughes. I had my tissue expanders placed by Dr. Lemmon on July 19th. Roughly 2 weeks following, I called Dr. Lemmon after hours reporting redness and oozing pus from a drainage pump located near my right breast. I also mentioned that the coloration of the fluid inside the pump had changed. Dr. Lemmon didn't seem concerned and advised that I remove my drainage pumps myself without explaining how. Due to the pain I was experiencing, I allowed my husband to remove all 4 of them from my body after watching a YouTube tutorial. The Dr. never offered me the option to see him in the office, nor did he prescribe antibiotics. Because my immune system was weakened due to just completing chemo therapy, and having had my sentinel lymph nodes removed on that breast, one would think that more would have been offered. There is no way to prove what I believe was the catalyst for the nightmares to follow, however it should have been a red flag of the Drs. thoughtlessness over my care. A couple of weeks later, I began experiencing constant, excruciating pain from that same breast. It was debilitating; it hurt to breath, sleep, and move without around-the-clock pain meds. Over the course of two weeks I persistently called and complained about that breast; I had a fever, it was swollen, hot to the touch, red, and the pain was worsening. I recall practically having to beg nurse Janice for antibiotics when I developed a fever. She continually dismissed my concerns, suffering, and tears over the course of these weeks, to the point that I finally contacted the business office about her carelessness. From that point forward, they had me speaking with Dr. Lemmon's scheduler for all of my medical concerns. The scheduler paged Dr. Lemmon twice for me regarding my right breast complications. Nobody ever phoned me back after these contacts. Likewise, when I went to see the Dr. he insisted that I strained a muscle or had a suture irritation. You would think that after seeing my breast in the condition it was in, twice, and being contacted several times after hours, that he might try to investigate my issue further. Never did Dr. Lemmon order a test, blood work, NOTHING, instead kept throwing more prescription pain meds at me that he advised me to take every 2 hours. I would advise any one thinking of going Regional Plastic Surgery Center to find another group of doctors/surgeons and skip this place. I would give zero stars if that was an option. This place was good at scheduling but sucks to deal with. The main issue has to do with false and misleading marketing claims on their website and the bait and switch tactic once you arrive in the lobby. Within 10 minutes of entering the waiting room and speaking with the front office staff, I was leaving to go to a different surgeon. Very clear and prominent on the website it says to call for a free consultation. This is not true and very deceptive. On the phone they quoted me a price of 300 - 600 per finger for a finger nail issue on the day of the procedure. They said I needed a consult first and scheduled my appointment. They said they would not do the procedure on the first visit and that I needed a consult. I arrived on time at my appointment and they lady at the front desk then told me it would be $300 to $600 to see the doctor and asked for my drivers license and payment. I would have paid $3000 had they actually provided treatment but they just have no customer service skills or business acumen. There was another lady in the waiting room who overheard the conversation and she said they just tried the same thing to her. She had a consult with the doctor and they tried to get her to pay hundreds for their free (fake) consult. read more

Dr. Watamull is an artist and a perfectionist. From experience, I can tell you he is as meticulous with large procedures as with the small office surgeries. His bedside manner is warm and personal pre op and post op. His staff follows up with simple instructions and makes sure the patient has ample knowledge and supplies, even passing on helpful hints learned from other patients. Emotional support is in abundance, with Dr. W and staff encouraging questions no matter what day or time. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Watamull and his Regional Plastic Surgery Center. read more

Staff was pleasant However they got me mixed up with another person with my same name. It took me 2 months to straighten that out. Had surgery to remove a gaglion cyst on my finger. I was told by Dr. Lemmon it would be a simple surgery and I would be able to get back to work after a couple of days. Turned out to be a nightmare. I have been in pain and agony for three months. My finger is deformed and all he could say was he was sorry I was not happy with the outcome. I have spent countless hours in the emergency room, doctors offices and on meds to relieve the pain and infection. He said I needed another surgery to straighten my finger out otherwise I could live with the deformity. Needless to say I was depressed and despondent over his statement. Left in tears and will never step foot in that place. I chose to get anther opinion and thanks to another doctor who took one look at my finger and realized that Dr. Lemmon had cut a tendon during the surgery. I'm in a splint now for three months!! Dr. Lemmon might be good at other things but he is not an orthopedic hand surgeon and should not hold himself out to be a hand surgeon. Please avoid the mistake I made and go to someone who does hands only and not boob jobs as well!! read more

Approximately 5 years ago Dr Byrne did my breast lift and reduction. I was so mad I had not done it sooner. The surgery was flawless. My recovery was fast. I work from home and was able to work 3 days post surgery. His staff was supportive and amazing. I HIGHLY recommend using Dr Byrne and his staff. (PART 2- CONT. from Priscilla RIojas' review) Nevertheless, I continued to advocate for my concerns, until finally the Dr. removed 50cc's of saline, gave me a fitted bra, and prescribed antibiotics, because at this point, he stated that he, "was afraid I had an infection." Then, resulting from his revelation said he wanted to push me into surgery 5 days later. I went home content thinking that soon I'd have some relief, however as I began telling others that I was going into surgery, with the possibility of an infection, they cautioned me of the dangers. After speaking with my Cigna nurse case manager, she urgently advised that I go to the emergency room, and that is what I did. The Drs. at Methodist Richardson hospital believed I had an infection and admitted me based on their assessments. Dr. Lemmon showed up to my room that night and stated that he was surprised to hear that I had come to the ER. Really?!? I explained to him that all the nurses, attending and infectious disease docs believed I had an infection and he told me that they didn't know what they were talking about and have to diagnose me with something in order to admit me. He stood bedside and told me and my husband that I do not have an infection. Then proceeded to show us pictures of infected breasts from his iPhone, irritatingly stating "If you had an infection, THIS is what your breast would look like!" Because he firmly believed this, without any proof, he then left me with the options of removing the expander the following day or waiting until my upcoming scheduled reconstruction surgery, which I might add was a DIEP flap procedure- using my own tissue. He called me on my cell phone the following morning to know of my decision, I told him that I would wait to have my reconstruction surgery that was now just a few more days away. Even if I had decided to go into surgery that day, Dr. Lemmon had not communicated this possibility with anyone at the hospital, so they had me on blood thinners and a regular diet. Despite the hospitals efforts to tackle my infection, their heavy duty antibiotics were not making the symptoms go away. I was still in agonizing pain, the redness was spreading and I continued with a fever. By my third day of hospitalization, Dr. Lemmon, now changing his tune, advised that I go into emergency surgery to remove my tissue expander. I was in surgery for an hour and when I got out, I was left lopsided with just one normal looking breast. The psychological effects from looking mutilated were significant, but nothing compared to the traumatizing experience that I endured from Dr. Lemmon and staff. From the cultures he took from my breast during surgery, I had a confirmed case of pseudomonas and a suspected case of staph. Resulting from this, I had to get a PICC line placed and discharged after a 5 day stay in the hospital on high dosages of antibiotics. When I confronted Dr. Lemmon, he told me how he had cancelled his family vacation plans for that Labor Day weekend to tend to me at the hospital. The audacity! I could have DIED had my infections gone systemic or infected my good tissue if I had gone through with my reconstruction at the Dr. advising. He should be thanking me for going to the ER and sparing him a lawsuit. If I can for-warn one other person from having to go through what I experienced with Dr. Lemmon, this review has been worth my pain staking time. I guarantee if Dr. Lemmon and Janice treated me this way, they most definitely treat all of his patients this carelessly. read more

I had a BBL in Aug 2018 w/ Dr. Mehta. I am several months post op and regret getting down here. I should have went to Miami were not only would have been cheaper but I would have gotten the results I wanted. 1st I was not given a compression garment until 2 weeks after my surgery & they were leggings. I had to purchase my own faja on amazon. I think they do other surgeries well like breast and nose but they haven't master BBL. I spoke to him in great detail and included pics of the desire shape in which I thought we were on the same page. I did not want a Kim K butt but a nice bubble butt to look nice in clothes. I had plenty of fat to get a more shapely butt. I am so disappointed. He offered to do a revision for half of the surgeon fee but even that is too much. It should been right the first time. Ladies, go to Miami for BBL, the surgeons there understand what women want in BBL because most the doctors are spanish. I am so upset, the cost and the amount of time I took off of work to not be happy with the results. I had breast cancer and underwent a bilateral mastectomy. Dr. Joshua Lemmon was the reconstruction surgeon recommended by Dr. Edward Clifford who did the mastectomy. I had no idea who to go to so I simply took the recommendation. From the very first I was totally comfortable and impressed with Dr. Lemmon and his nurse Erika. That first appointment was a little over a 18 months and three surgeries ago and I have never never regretted taking that recommendation. I am incredibly happy with the results and have been able to resume my very active lifestyle (triathlete and figure competitor). Dr. Lemmon has given me back me and as a breast cancer survivor that is simply huge. I would recommend him without hesitation.
