Wonderful and beautiful photos!!! For the people who are commenting here about how expensive it is, I get it but for the work they do it's worth it for senior photos. I am a mom of twin girls. I never was able to get pictures of them together professionally so I decided that we would do senior pictures. Of course they got their individual but then we did some of them together. It was emotional and touching to scroll through the pictures of them together. Truly beautiful. I am so excited for them to keep these pictures forever. I highly recommend using Southwest portraits for senior pictures as they do an outstanding job and I was able to get all of them within a week. read more

Our High School directed us to have Southwest Portrait take senior yearbook photo. We had to schedule an appt which was easy to do online. After they took the photo, I asked to order one 8/10 sheet as I have always ordered 8x10's of all school photos for keepsakes. I was told it would be $58.00 for ONE sheet. Every year when the schools take photos, they use All Pro and they charge $10 per sheet. Feels like they are robbing families to get their kids final school picture with an insane fee! We chose not to purchase the photo, as the lighting wasn't great, and we plan to have outdoor senior photos taken for grad invites closer to graduation. read more

This company took the yearbook photo for my daughter's class. When I received the proofs online, there was one image to choose from. It was such an unflattering shot that I can't believe someone looked at it and said, yup, that's good. Even the DMV does multiple takes if they catch you in a weird smile or eyes half-closed. My daughter was upset when she saw it and cringing that it has to be on display in the yearbook. I would have spent money and purchased some so I guess they aren't too keen on making money. read more

This company is in charge of not only my child's Senior portraits for his school yearbook but also his athletic team. As for the Senior portraits I have so many issues. When they took my child's picture at school they asked him to choose between four - NOT the parent. He kept pointing at one picture and the photographer/assistant whoever it was kept clicking on other pics NOT the one he chose. Finally he said whatever and walked away knowing I will not be happy and he was not happy for this to be his picture in the yearbook either. The pre-order link did not work and I left two messages no response, they finally called back after the pre-order time was over and basically replied - oh well. As for the athletic team their order form was terrible and really had no place to actually mark which package, total with all the add-ins etc... and poorly printed and lacks any professionalism. read more

My son had a photo shoot with SW Portraits and we just viewed the pictures a few weeks ago. Not only was the photographer wonderful and kind, but when my son came to view the photos, he even knocked on the door to ask how we liked them and what our thoughts were. It was amazing to see that he truly cared that much. The set up to view the photos was amazing as well; You get a room all to yourself, watch a slideshow and get to narrow down everything into your own folder of favorites. I, too paid the $75 dollar non refundable deposit to view the photos online, and ours were watermarked as well. The watermark is see through, and I could see enough of my son's photos to be able to pick which ones I wanted. My husband used to do photography himself, so we completely understood the watermark situation. We went back to the studio to purchase a package of photos. When we got there, our sales girl told us our coupon had expired, but was gracious enough to go ask the owner if it could be extended, which it was. We're now anxiously awaiting our photos and once I get them, I'll have my husband write a review on that. I think it's really unfair to see this place getting such negative reviews when everyone of the staff members is kind and extremely willing to work with their customers. I don't know the name of the photographer we had, but I believe he is a manager or owner. And both sales girls we saw were extremely poised and professional. Other customers there seemed extremely pleased as well. It's a shame people only seem to come on to these websites to complain. We had a wonderful experience and look forward to coming back in two years when my daughter will be graduating from Corona Del Sol. read more

I took my daughter for Senior pictures, the photographer was great, so were the pictures. Unfortunately that is where the good stuff ends. I stopped by after work to view the pictures, and selected the ones I liked. Since my daughter or her mother were not with me, I asked if they could be viewed on line, since it was difficult for everyone to get there. I was told yes, for a $75 non-refundable fee, they could view them on line. I gladly paid this fee since I really liked the pictures and wanted to buy some. The question was how many and which ones to buy! They put the pictures up, but put a watermark on my daughter's face, completely masking the lower portion under her nose on down. It was impossible to determine which pictures to choose from with this watermark. I called and asked if they could move it lower, (around neck area like I saw before) but instead they let me talk to the OWNER, Anthony. Anthony told me that they have had a problem with people stealing pictures, and he had to have the watermark on the picture. I agreed, but explained that you can not choose if the opaque black watermark is all over the face! You really can't make any decision whatsoever! He reiterated that they have had too many copyright problems, and he would not lower the watermark. So there is no benefit to viewing the pictures on line, since you can't tell a good one from a bad one! When you make a simple request and to be told no because of "theft" is somewhat like an accusation in of itself and insulting. I was not asking to remove the watermark, just make is to you can see a face! It is not so bad that they have the policy, but to NOT be told that the pictures would not be very useful to choose from is what bothers me the most. I thought it was so convenient, but in reality, it was not. Bottom line, more driving, a wasted time, one person picking the pictures instead of a group decision, and a smaller sale for the business. I would not recommend this studio only because of the inability for the owner to see things from a customer's perspective. Everyone else there was fine. read more

Expensive and not very personable. Front office staff was abrupt and kinda snippy. Photographer was nice, but really made no connection with our student. So- the end product was not a file of relaxed pictures that captured our son. I ended up going to another studio. Overall, felt like a waste of time. read more

My son is a Senior at MPHS "Class of 2016" and we had our deluxe session today with Ryan. Let me just say that "Ryan" our photographer was amazing and kept my son laughing (smiling the whole hour). My son changed his clothes 3 times (per my request) and Ryan was there the whole time helping us make decisions and getting my son to pose and smile for the camera. I am excited to come back and view all the pictures he took. So far I am thrilled with this studio. Everyone was friendly and helpful..I haven't spent any money yet (except for the sitting fee since we went with the deluxe session and that was $20 buck). After having Ryan take his time and all the pictures I am sure it was worth the money. I have reviewed the price list, but I will have to add to this review once I review our pictures next week and see the final bill. But like I said, I am impressed so far :) read more

Our school required that the yearbook picture be taken here, so we opted to also get some senior portraits done here as well, just to see what we would get. With Tony, one daughter loved hers, the other only liked a shot or two. After talking to the studio, they kindly allowed us to come in and do another session with Rico. She loved her pictures. Rebecca was also a huge help, and helped us in every step of the process, we can't wait to receive our pictures. Working with Tony, Rico, and Rebecca was a pleasure, all 3 are great. The people were so rude here, and not helpful at all. I had a problem when they came to my school to take our cap and gown pictures. They take money from students without giving receipts, and then they had the nerve to call me and claim they never got the money and that I had to pay again. And to top it off the owner spoke to me like I was stupid, and the pictures weren't all that great either. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. Go use your money somewhere else where they'll actually be professional and hand you a receipt. read more

Very poor customer service if that is what you can even call it. I have never been treated with such disrespect as a customer. My daughter had team pictures taken at school 2 months ago so I called to inquire about the status, I normally give them out with Christmas cards. Phyllis the sales manager said they didn't show it paid so I gave her my check number 226 for $43 and bank they cashed it at offered to send her a copy of the cashed check but she didn't want it. I asked her when she can have them done I need th ASAP she says not until next year told her this is unacceptable they close since the schools close after arguing with me for 15 minutes I asked if she can send me a copy and printing rights while I wait for my pics, she said I either get on or the other I only paid for pics. I mentioned this is not my fault and you had no problem cashing my check 2 months ago I think you can provide me that as a courtesy for my trouble. NOPE she tells me I will put an order in and rush them have them to our office by next Thursday for pick up...really you just argued with me wasting both of our time and you couldn't do this 20 minutes ago to make me happy??? If my picture are not available for pick up on Thursday I will be updating my review. I bought my son's senior pics here you can bet she will not be getting hers taken here next summer. read more
