They have all kinds of merchandise, including bean replicas, keychains, T shirts, ball caps, and just about anything else you could want as a souvenir. These people are kind of ridiculous. I called to ask if they had a poster of the Chicago skyline. I was told "yes ". Drove 2 1-2 hrs only to be told "huh"? Great place for your souvenir needs. They have pretty much everything. Shirts, socks, Bulls and Cubs gear, sweatshirts, postcards, trinkets, odds and ends. Do yourself a favor and visit. I'm sure you will find something that grabs your attention and screams "take me home" it's all things Chicago in here. The lady at the front desk was very nice and wrapped my souvenir once I told her I'd be traveling. She wished me safe travels and that was a kind gesture that I appreciated. Situated at the corner of E Illinois and New, Souvenir City Chicago has all the Chicago goods and more that you are after. We make it point to swing through each time we visit the city to see what new stickers, hats, trinkets, shirts, etc...they have. So far we came away with a coaster, magnet, sticker and now a cute Bean. Prices vary, but it's a souvenir spot, so they are higher while the quality is lower...but you know what you are getting from these spots. The store is packed full of goods, from wall to wall and floor to ceiling. Service is always welcoming and friendly. Recommendation, check the quality of your item before buying. I want to dedicate this review to Gus. I stopped by the store the other day and purchased two magnets, but when I got home, I realized they weren't in my bag. I called the store, and when I came back, Gus was incredibly kind and understanding. Without hesitation, he offered me two replacement magnets-- completely on the house and free of charge. I searched all over Chicago for an affordable hoodie and was struggling to find one under $50. I eventually decided to get off the main streets and found this souvenir shop tucked over on the way to Navy Pier. I don't need a fancy hoodie but I do like to collect one from all the major cities I travel to. Thank you to Andrea for the A++ customer service, I was trying to find a magnet and/or a sticker of the outline of Illinois and Andrea found plenty of items and brought them all to me! It is a little out of the way coming if you're coming from the River Walk but their sticker selection + souvenirs selection is pretty good (pricey-ish since they all start around $5) I'd recommend here for souvenirs if you may not be stopping by Chinatown + you want more cute items -- Chinatown will have a good amount of souvenirs at a more affordable cost but just know magnets , specifically, may a tad loud in personality is all haha read more

I get to the shop at 7:45 when they close at 8 and the door is already locked and the two teenage girls are just standing at the counter talking. This souvenir shop was the closest one from my hotel (a 5 minute walk) so it was the only one I went to, since I didn't want to walk around in 90 degrees fahrenheit trying to find another one. The souvenir shop itself is conveniently located within a 10 minute walk from most of downtown Chicago's hotels. It's not very large, but it's a quick and easy way to get souvenirs. There are also items, such as pencils, handbags, shirts, magnets, postcards, and sweatshirts for customers to purchase. The young man at the front desk was nice enough, but he didn't greet us when we came in and didn't ask if we needed help finding anything. We bought pens and pencil pouches. The store is nice but doesn't have a large variety. Of course like all other shops in tourist areas, it's extremely overpriced. The pens cost about $2.50 each and the pencil pouches were $8.00. If you're a tourist in Chicago who wants Chicago souvenirs, this is a quick stop to find something for all ages! read more
