This was such a cool experience. It's a store filled with Harry Potter merch, combined with walk up counter service, Harry Potter themed food/drinks. Being a huge fan of butterbeer ice cream, I was extra excited to stumble upon the store. They also have some interactive activities such as putting on the sorting hat to learn what your house is. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Loved this place for entertainment. Harry Potter in town. The store is big with lots of souvenirs to select too. They have cafe with coffee and snacks. Some entertainment inside by the staff. Ended buying some magnets . If you look around you'll end up shopping a lot. Drop by and feel the Hogwarts university . lol

Wow, lots of talent went into decorating this shop that's located on the Magnificent Mile! It is the perfect place for all fans of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire movies, books, journals, pens, keychains, pins, tote bags, swords, Spirit Jerseys, shirts, socks, caps, sweat shirts, mugs, character wands, and t-shirts in children's sizes. The decor is fantastic with the walls covered with all sorts of collectibles from The Goblet of Fire. Be sure to bring your credit cards because the stuff is expensive. If you get hungry, there is the one of a kind ButterBeer café with desserts like ice cream, muffins, cookies and popcorn. The draft Butterbeer comes in a mug and is $13.50. A bottle is $7.00. You get to keep the mug as a souvenir. There is a cafe area with tables and chairs to enjoy a break. The store features a gender-neutral restroom available for customers. We enjoyed our visit here!

Quick take: Harry Potter world The level of over stimulation is unmatched once we entered the store. Literally every inch from floor to ceiling is decorated with HP stuff. It's super cool even if you aren't a big HP fan. Lots of fun and creative things to buy. Easily can spend hours in this store. We went in the middle of summer so it's complete chaos with a lot of kids running around. Highly recommended if you are in Downtown.

We were in Chicago for a family event this past weekend and got to know about the Harry Potter store pop up and I just knew I had to go!!! The store is amazingg!! They have all the things a Potterhead would love!! From mugs, magnets, clothing items, to ornaments, wands, and butterbeer! They even had tote bags, postcards, pens, and tea towels! We really enjoyed going there! The line was long to get in but fortunately we only had to wait 10 mins to get in! We bought a few things which we loved to take home with us! The experience was magical as they were playing all the instrumental music of Harry Potter and the vibes were just amazing!! A must visit if you are in Chicago!!

This is a unique store that carry all the Harry Potter goodie, gift and experience. The store welcome you at the entrance. Next to the entrance, you can try the witch's hat to see which school that you are admitted. I like the most is the bar. You can try their butter beers. I got one with slush. It has the foam on top. It was delicious. Love the soft drink for hot summer. The store also has the magic wand for selection. It depends on the character of person and magic power to accommodate the needs of magician. You also can get the school uniform of each school. The visit takes 40 minutes. But I enjoy my time here.

After visiting Universal Orlando in March, we couldn't pass up the chance to stop by the Harry Potter Shop while we were in Chicago--especially since they serve Butterbeer! The store is much bigger than I expected, with plenty of Harry Potter merchandise, a few interactive stations, and a café offering Butterbeer and other themed treats. It was definitely crowded, but that's to be expected for such a popular attraction. My family really enjoyed browsing the store, and of course I couldn't leave without taking home some bottled Butterbeer for my kids. If you're a Harry Potter fan, it's a fun stop and worth checking out while you're in Chicago.

This was a good experience went to the nyc one and now this one. Best visit spot to check out also you can see what house they place you in for free. They also have a shop with food and drinks like butter beer drinks or ice cream. The prices are good and the people are very nice I will say that. Fun spot must see it.

Finally got to stop in here and I'm so glad I did! I feel like I was in Disney or better! They didn't skip a beat. It was all things Harry Potter. Love the café with the butter beer in the take-home souvenir cup. They even have a rinsing station so you don't need to figure it out on your own. There were opportunities for photos and just a great Harry Potter experience throughout.

As a lover of all things Harry Potter, what is not to love about the Harry Potter Shop Chicago, seriously I cannot think of anything. From the garden, the gargoyles standing guard outside to the stained glass welcoming you in, it's every young at heart girls dream. They offer just about every souvenir, wand, sweater, Knick nak, butter bear and love potion you can think of. If you have your heart set on getting placed into Hufflepuff you can pay to get sorted with the sorting hat placed upon your head. The store and cafe are packed, so there is a slight wait on busier afternoons, but as a fan it's worth the wait.

No line to get in. It's very magical in the store with great employees. You can shop around but I went straight to the cafe to enjoy a butterbeer and a death eater cookie. Butterbeer was delicious as usual but the death eater cookie was a little thick and dry.

The Harry Potter Shop in Chicago has a really cool setup and great attention to detail. The store is beautifully immersive, featuring awesome Triwizard Tournament-inspired decor, floating books, and fantastic photo opportunities like a Sorting Hat experience where you can take pictures. We stopped by the cafe area and ordered a Butterbeer and a Butterbeer muffin. The Butterbeer itself was delicious, but the portion size was pretty small considering the premium price tag. As for the Butterbeer muffin, it was just okay--nothing spectacular. Overall, it's a fun and magical experience for the setup and photos, just be prepared for the typical high tourist prices on the treats.

At the largest Harry Potter bar in the US, I tried a Butterbeer. Draft Butterbeer: Being a non-alcoholic beverage, it tasted like slightly fermented, sour soda water. The buttery flavor wasn't very pronounced, and the creamy topping was rather thin and not very fragrant. The advantage is that you can take the cup home as a souvenir, which might be worth considering for HP fans; otherwise, it's not necessary.

You can buy tickets at the front (the left side) of the store for Cloud Bar & to go to the observation deck. I had a flight early in the morning, so I didn't do that, but I recommend it if you're visiting or just want a nice nigI bought this BEAUTIFUL book of Chicago street photography here for only $40. I say only $40, bc I plan on neatly tearing out several of the pages & framing them. It's such a beautiful book. I bought a Chicago recycled tote bag (that can be folded, & apparently used to be a water bottle!), a Cloud Bar coffee mug (bc it holds way more than 8 ounces & is such a beautiful ombré blue), & a Chicago photography book (the last one available for the night). The clothing items are priced fairly high, the hoodies are about $60-80. If you really want some high quality and low cost Chicago apparel, hit up the 24-hr Walgreens that's only a few blocks down the street. They have shirts, mugs, etc for like $10-20. HOWEVER! I gave this place 5 stars bc of the employee who helped me w the book. It wasn't priced (w a tag/sticker) but it was also the very last one on the shelf - it was found on display, so it wasn't even on the shelf. She noticed it wasn't a new edition so she actually called Cloud Bar (at the top floor) to see if they had any extra copies so that I could get a new one. Her taking the time & effort to do this without me even mentioning anything or asking her to do that was exceptionally thoughtful & kind. I presume they sell this same book at the Cloud Bar at the top of the building. She was on the phone for a bit, but they didn't have any new editions for me. I honestly am in LOVE with the book - it's absolutely stunning, the photography is so beautiful and will forever serve as a reminder of why I love Chicago so much & why I want to make this city my home either for medical school or for my life after that. I attached photos of the book. I'm so sorry I didn't get your name (the employee at the front desk), but I really appreciate your hospitality.

I did a lot of research and decided I wanted a Goyard tote bag as an everyday bag. We went to the Chicago location and I excitedly waited to be let in the doors. First of all, you can't take photos it is posted a few times through out the store, but I saw the other sale people letting the other shoppers take photos. The sales member helping me hardly looked up from his phone and when I asked about the color bags they had he pointed to where I could get the color samples. They were on a shelf and he couldn't be bothered to hand them to me. I asked to see the bag I wanted and it felt like I asked a teenager to take out the trash. I asked his opinion about the 2 colors I was debating between and he didn't seem to care and wasn't interested or invested in making the sale. Within about 15 minuets into our visit, I felt so unwelcomed and uncomfortable I decided I didn't want to buy the bag anymore. For years I have been planning to buy an expensive everyday bag and the experience here at Goyard was so negative, I walked away. I wanted the whole experience, someone invested in the process and someone would make me feel better about spending a lot of money.

My partner recently purchased 2 dog beds advertised for small to medium dogs. We have 2 frenchies and when the dog beds arrived, they are for toy dogs. The store refused a store credit which they usually give because they consider a dog bed a "trunk", which they did not indicate at the sale and it is also not intuitive (in fact, my partner originally was going to order 1 bed in blue and 1 in yellow, but was talked out of a special order). The money is already with Goyard in any event, but their unwillingness to take care of long time customers has lost them any future sale. Not even a call back from the manager as promised. Really poor customer service and very deceptive in marketing these beds for medium size dogs.
