It is tucked away in a serene upscale setting just off the Intracoastal Waterway. They can accommodate up to 65 foot in length boats. That works for me, of course if I had a boat. Hopefully, I will have one eventually, and this is exactly where I hope a slip becomes available to buy. The location is also surrounded by upscale apartment condos and wonderful restaurants that have great views of the Mariana.

The marina is part of a gated community of several high rise condo bldgs so it has security. Restaurant "Belle" is excellent. Safe Harbor has done an excellent job investing in making an already excellent marina into an outstanding one. Easy access off ICW for fuel and for a transient slip. The facilities are excellent, clean and safe. Visiting boats have use of a pool at a nearby public Golf Country Club, but it is a healthy 1mi walk from the slips. If coming by boat either north or south bound, it is a beautiful stop.

We shared some very good guacamole and chips with some spicy sauce on the side for those of us who enjoy a little extra tingle. I ordered my first Poke bowl, which consisted of Salmon, avacado, fresh ginger, mixed greens, sesame seeds, some teriyaki and lemon slices. The bowl was a refreshing combination of flavors and textures. For dessert we ordered a Florida Key Lime Pie. It was very good, with the key lime sitting in a graham cracker coconut pie crust. A nice walk along the water after dinner, enjoying the view, cool breeze and conversation.

Now I will visit when I am in the area or with family visitors. This is definitely a locals area only they could know about, but really feels like you just went on a mini vacation that is not that far from home and is not traffic crowed.

There is a yacht master office in the building next to the parking area. On the weekend day of the farmers market it is nice to get some food there and take it to the seawall to sit and look at the boats while picnicing.

This isn't a one time occurrence, I have unfortunately stayed here multiple times over the last several years and each time, the dock master is a complete jerk. The manager can careless and I'm sure the owner can careless too. That dock master needs to go and this place needs an attitude adjustment!!
