The bottom job that was done had paint pealing off. It was only 6 months old. The vendor they subbed the job out to died. They said no problem bring the boat back. When I picked it up 4 days later the complete bottom was redone.... Two coats primer, two coats Pettit. NO CHARGE. I have been using them for 5 years. They are wonderful. Also when the racks came in, he put them on himself, with assistance from another guy. They also taught me how I could load the kayak on my own and tie it down. We bought our kayak here a little over a year ago and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They walked us through the different types and what each one is best for. We wanted to get one to just paddle around and explore in the intracoastal. They had a large selection in store and we were able to take them down a down and sit in them to find the one that we liked best and was comfortable. We went with the Hobie Odyssey. And because it was a year old model, they gave us a discount and the kayak came with the seats and paddles. They explained the warranty info in depth. They also helped us strap it into our truck. After we got home, we had a few questions and also realized one of our dry storage containers was cracked. They told us to bring it in and exchange for a new one. We love our purchase and have been out on it many, many times. If you want more info on kayaks or are just browsing, this is the place to come to. If I could give 6 stars, I would because this place went above expectations. Steven is very knowledgeable about paddle boarding. He really took the time to teach how to secure the paddle board over my jeep with ease. I got a killer deal on my board and paddle. Chris is awesome! He went out of his way to help me with my board down to the launch. Starting this hobby can be really scary but Adventure Times welcomed me as a beginner. Had a great time here. They don't nickle and dime you if you go over on the time (half day or full day, not by hour or minute). AND I think the price is very reasonable to begin with. The canal was flat, calm and fun. It was too rough when I went to go out on the inter-coastal or get to any of the islands unfortunately, but I'll definitely be back to try again! Renting paddles boards here is a complete waste of time. We reserved 2 paddle boards and a couple of kayaks on a Tuesday morning. When we arrived, we waited at the desk for 20 minutes. When the 2 gentlemen returned, we were told they had only 1 paddle board left (despite the reservation). We wasted half the morning unloading the car, waiting at the check in desk, and reloading the car. If you're interested in making a reservation, consider it useless. read more

The only reason we went there was because one of our friends bought a kayak from there before. Also, it looks like they cut the kayaks in half after they are used? That seems very wasteful. We took a double and two single kayaks out and crossed the intracoastal. We did a lap around Munyon Island and stopped on the beach for a little bit. The weather was great and it was really easy to navigate because they gave us a laminated map.
