The service could always be better. but the last few times I have been my gel manicure has only lasted 4- 6 days. I'm use to my gel manicures lasting a month or more. I got a manicure a few days before a trip and the manicure had already chipped by the time I got to the beach. read more

I made and appointment for 6:00 wasn't seen until 6:15-6:20. A man did my nails. The tips of my nails were jagged and not filed evenly. When I left there was dried gel top coat all over my finger tips still. I was charged $45 for gel on my normal nails, no acrylics. I also didn't get a manicure. I was shocked this was $45. I called the store after I went home and asked the person that answered how much gel on normal nails without a manicure would cost and she told me $30. So why was I charged $45 without even getting a manicure? Couldn't tell you. Horrible experience. I do not recommend going here and I won't be returning. Was ripped off for a horrible experience. I recently moved to Pittsburgh from Arizona. I had a very hard time finding a nail tech. I am so pleased with Ann. She does an amazing job, my nails are always stylish and strong. Absolutely love this salon; It has been my favorite since the day it opened! The staff is great. The salon is very clean. They are very professional. Usually I book an appointment the week of, but it's very convenient to walk in as well! Most of all, I love their shellac manicures. The shellac is thick, and looks great! Horrible service. Scheduled an 11:30 appt for a pedicure and my mom to get a fill & polish. They took me back about 10 minutes late. They then took a walk-in and two 12:00 appts before taking my mom. At 12:30 we had to leave so my mom never got her nails done. They showed little concern for overlooking her appt and the employee said "my boss likes to over schedule people back to back." Okay?? Had eyelash extensions (Full Glam) put on right after Thanksgiving. They lasted through Christmas and with only one "fill" I was able to pull through Mid January. I did follow complete instructions from Jen and was very happy with the results. read more

I know that this is my third update, but it's been 2 years and I feel that it is necessary. I have seen that there are some negative reviews on here due to people's manicurists leaving the salon. I felt the same way because each time I had thought that I had found the only staff member that I would ever go to. When they would leave I always considered shopping around for a new salon. However, this salon is very convenient for me in location and so I would always end up going back. I have to say that whether it be luck or just superior staffing, I have always been extremely pleased. Currently I make sure to request either David or Lisa. They both pay extreme attention to detail and my gel manicures easily last three weeks. In all honesty if my nails didn't grow out my manicures would last even longer. While I have to admit that this salon may be a little more expensive than some others, it is well worth it as your manicure will last much longer than any other salon's will. The really amazing thing is that my mom came with me last time because she couldn't get an appointment at her salon. She is so impressed with her manicure at that she is coming back with me today! My mom never changes any kind of service. She wasn't even happy where she was going but she refused to change. She is now sold on the salon and won't be going back to the other place. Her manicure has never lasted this long and she works heavily with her hands on a daily basis at work. If you haven't come here for a gel manicure, you definitely need to try it! read more

Ann is an amazing nail technician- I never let anyone else (other than owner Jen) do my nails. I'm deaf and Ann always takes off her mask when talking to me so I can read her lips which is very nice and considerate! I have gone to her so often that she knows exactly how I like my nails to look. I lived in DC for two years and would sometimes get my nails done over there and then go to Ann when I'm home, and she always files and shapes them perfectly. Never going anywhere else! :) read more

I called the salon and asked if they could do UV gel extensions with a nail form, which are very different from acrylic nails. An employee confirmed they did gel extensions. When I arrived at the salon the nail tech immediately started to put tips on for an acrylic set. I attempted to stop her, saying I want gel extensions, not acrylic. For the second time I explained what I wanted. She then insisted that she was going to use gel and not acrylic as the base of the nail. She flat out lied and gave me a full set of acrylic nails. I'm furious with the service I received, as acrylic destroys my nails. I wish I would have followed my instinct and walked out. If you're looking for UV gel extensions, find another nail salon. read more

We decided to try out this place after a tip from a friend. We were so pleased and had a wonderful experience! Our pedicures were luxurious with hot stones & sugar scrubs, and our nails looked beautiful. We really enjoyed the friendly and experience service as well as the pleasant atmosphere. Also as far as we could tell the place was very clean and many precautions against contamination were taken. A little pricy but we hope to return! read more

Terrible. I walked in today and they told me 15 minutes. 45 minutes later i was still sitting with my feet in cold water. And when i tried to get a water change the manicurist helping me knew not a lick of english so i had to do it myself. And you cant tell me they didn't realize the wait would be longer than 15 mins. I would have like an honest estimate of time. I ended up leaving as i had no faith in a decent pedi at that point. This place used to be good but i have noticed the past couple times that it has gone down hill. It also used to be a friendly atmosphere but not anymore. The owner? Who used to be so nice, can barely look ip when you walk in now. I have to think that the pos reviews are done by management. Sad that i have to find a nee place as this was mice & close. read more

Extremely disappointed with the service I received when I got my nails done here this last time. A while back I had gotten a solar manicure or whatever they called the special tips, and I was super happy with them. This last time I decided I just wanted a simple French manicure. I scheduled an appointment and when I arrived they sat me down with a guy who did about half the work but was preoccupied with other things. I wish I would have known that they paint the white tips on because I would have chosen to go back to the solar nails then. He painted the white tips on wayyyy too thick, then had me sit with my hands drying for a bit before having some other girl come over to round the paint out. She was also in the middle of something and wasn't very thorough. It was like they just wanted to get as many people done as possible and it was about quantity, not quality. She had me sit under the dryer once again and then after about ten minutes came over with a bottle of clear polish and literally held my hands in the air as she put a top coat on. I sat under the dryer for an additional 15 minutes or so and my nails looked cheap after they were finished. It didn't look like I had just paid for a manicure. Although the price wasn't bad, I won't be going back here due to the attitude and feeling of the place now. read more

I had an appointment for a mani-pedi and 2 hours later I left with only a pedi. Terrible service. My stylist acted like she was on something. On a previous visit the receptionist "got my water started" and up doing the whole pedicure, cutting me twice. She was not licensed. It's convenient, but I'm never going back. read more

Never again. I went to this salon with a girlfriend a few weeks ago (2) and decided to treat myself to a full set of pink and whites. Mistake. First of all the salon did not have air conditioning and I was literally sweating in my seat with the humidity so high from it raining outside. I also had made an appointment and still had to wait 20 minutes for someone to take me. I had the male technician, I believe one of the owners, I think David, but either way, the first row of techs near the front. I told him I needed them short and very natural as I train in martial arts. He did a very thick long and uneven set. I actually went home to reshape them. The pink was not pink.. More like just pale nail color. I still thought overall they looked pretty good though. Until I "lived" with them for a week. Within a week - and that's not even training in martial arts- they had ALL LIFTED. They were barely grown or separated from my cuticle and all lifted. Things were getting caught under my acrylics in the lifted area!!! They yellowed right away- and I do NOT tan or use tanner. By two weeks, I was actually embarrassed hiding my nails and went to another local salon to have them repaired. I would never recommend this salon to anyone. It was uncomfortable and humid inside and I paid a lot of money for a very low quality nail product. The tech also sliced my cuticle with the file and it was bleeding and never said a word about it or even put on an antiseptic to prevent infection. Never again. This was a nice nail salon clean because it was new but they have no idea what good customer service means. I was a regular customer all year round twice a month to help get the business started when there was very little clientele. As the spring/summer approached, they disregarded their scheduled appointment times to accommodate the walk-in traffic. This is no way to run a business. Regular clientele are important to keep the business running in the Fall/Winter months when no one else wants to worry about or pay for a pedicure! I also brought in friends and one day when I had me and a friend scheduled I walked in to find the place packed with walkins and because I was on a work break and saw that they wanted me to wait until a chair opened even though I had an appointment and I was a regular I turned around and walked out and have not returned since. Good place to go if you are a walk in but not if you are looking for a regular year round nail place. read more
