Honestly I should've listened to most of the reviews (which are bad), but I thought I'd give this place a try since I was in the area. My lady knicked me and I bled, and she told me it's because my nails grow into my skin. That is absolutely 100% false. I've never been told that or had an issue with any other person doing my nails in over 10 years of my life. She could've apologized but didn't. But here's the kicker. At first I did want chrome but when she got to that part, I was so upset from her knicking me that I told her no it's okay because I wanted her to finish so I can just pay and leave and NEVER come back. They can pull up security cameras if they want if they say I lied. I clearly said no, waving my hands no when she was searching for the chrome, but she said "no it's okay i do it". Huh?? At this point I was so upset I was like whatever. She did it. I went to pay and they charge me $75 to get knicked, bleed, and for chrome that I didn't even WANT. She never mentioned $20 add-on for chrome. People here can be nice but this is the worst experience ever. I do NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. STAY AWAY. read more

I went for a builder gel nails, he asked me if a wanted to cut my nails, I said no, he filed my nails, and make them short and crooked, (is not that what they do for a living?) he did a really bad job, make my nails even shorter, left me with nails glue to my skin, with the uneven color, and nail polish all over my finger. The place is so cute and clean I really like the service. Since a two months lockdown my feet needed some desperate help so I found this place on fb and since it was close home I decided to give it a shot. I made my appointment online and it was so easy. I was a little bit reluctant since we just started opening business again I know but they were very careful they only have 2 other customers besides me they were all wearing masks (customers and staff) and they had this nice glass separating from the clients on the manicure/nails section. I asked for the spa pedicure and with an extra for the gel on my toenails. The girl worked really good and really fast she did the whole thing she even put some hot towels and did an amazing massages on my feet. They were offering drinks (moscato, margaritas and mimosas) but I felt like it was too early for a drink I know I sound hypocritical but it's true :) They did the job fast and so beautiful, a little bit pricey I would say but the place and experience make it worth it. Maybe I have to come back for a manicure or a nails set but for now my feet are beautiful and happy. read more

I didn't feel like driving to my usual spot on the eastside (The Nails Bar) so I found this place on Yelp. There's a Nails Bar on the westside but I prefer the one on Zaragoza...better service over there. I had a pretty good experience here. They were sort of packed but they still took me as a walk-in. I came to get a pedicure. I hadn't had one since Feb. 2020! I did some on myself but felt like getting one. I wanted a spa pedicure with lavender colored nail polish. The lady didn't cut me and she was gentle. She didn't talk much. She just asked me if everything was alright and I said yes. She was polite and did a good job. They offer complimentary non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. I wasn't in the mood for an alcoholic drink so I just got some bottled water. The male greeter in the front could've been a little bit friendlier when I walked in. He seemed to be in a bad mood or annoyed with something. It was busy so maybe that's why. A lot of places were closed the day after Independence Day. He lightened up after I went to pay. He asked me if I had cash to pay and I said no. They charge $2 extra if you use your credit or debit card. I said that was fine. I would consider coming back if I didn't feel like driving to the eastside. I've been coming here for a few months and have had great service until today. I don't know if they hired new staff (there were some workers I hadn't seen before). But the service was just not it. well to begin with we ask for French tips and the outrageous amount for simple French tips was 85 dollars and we accept the price we begin the nails and half into I start to see that the nails were coming out very crooked and we ask the the lady to take off that one nail and she complain saying she could fix it by putting more acrylic and I said no that to please take it off and to do the nail again and with the comments I kept making to try to fix the nail she kept getting mad and a bit aggressive i do advise not to come here NO MANNERS. read more

Customer service and basic human decency doesn't exist here. Went in to get a pedicure and everyone was nice until i was in the chair, the man that did it would point at my nails and talk to his co workers, they offered a manicure and i said yes, the lady was rude, pulling my arms and fingers when i was clearly trying to do what she needed me to. The vibe is definitely very eerie... like every person would be staring at you one time or another. 1/10 west side businesses need to humble themselves a smudge. read more

The nail technician was super rude and when I asked her If I could get my nails almond shape she said "no your nails are too short" and literally pushed my hand away twice. Beware! Two different operators and both times I ended up with a raging toe infection necessitating doctor appointments and an antibiotic regimen. Both times cut into the side cuticle causing pain and bleeding. I chalked it up to the lady who did it. But next time with a different person, I had the same unfortunate experience. Very clean, friendly staff and amazing service. Best pedicure I've gotten here in El Paso and I have been several places. Offered complimentary drinks during the service this includes wine and limited cocktails as well as water if you don't drink. The foot massage with the package I got (65$ one- forgot the name) was INCREDIBLE and not rushed at all. I will be coming back and highly recommend for a girls day or even alone. read more

I went on a Saturday and it was PACKED, but I was greeted immediately by the owner (who was super professional, attentive, and helpful in finding me a color combination that would match the photo I wished to replicate). I was shown to a pedi-spa chair and was offered something to drink. I opted for water, which was cool and refreshing. The place is very clean, HUGE, and it caters to wealthy/upscale patrons. They are regulars, or know one another...because there was lots of talking. Oh yeah, it is LOUD due to all the ladies gabbing. One thing that bothered me was...there is NO PRICE LIST to be seen. There is no menu of services, ANYWHERE. I was hesitant to stay, because I knew I was going to get sticker shock. I chose the basic mani/pedi, to be safe. However, I still walked out paying $61 before tip...which is far too expensive for my budget. The service was fantastic. Lots of recognizable faces in the staff, including the guy who did my services (who used to own another very good, moderately priced nail salon nearby). The service was meticulously clean, everything is disposable, single serving and prepackaged. The pedi-spa massage chair is great, but I heard the lady next to me mention the massage was an extra $5. I don't know if she meant the foot massage was extra or turning on the massage on the chair was extra. My guy proceeded to do a very good, basic pedicure (with massage and steamed towel, but no frills). My feet are now as soft as a baby's bottom. He followed it with a good, basic manicure. My hands and feet look lovely, and I was there for 1 hour. Verdict: Loud atmosphere, so bring headphones if you want to relax. The service is fantastic! The prices are exorbitant, so prepare to pay $$$$. It's upscale, so only conservative nails. You won't find nail art or designs here. Extensive gel nail lacquers to choose from, but the regular polish selection is more limited. Minus 1 star for the missing menu of services. read more

While visiting El Paso, and in dire need of a manicure, I started doing my research. I choose this establishment after reading about their dedication to a clean and comfortable environment, and the positive reviews. I was not disappointed! My hands are rough from working on many projects, with very dry skin and cuticles. My nails are short and really what I wanted was to clean them up and apply Gel Polish to help keep my nails from breaking. I did not give Lee much to work with, however, he took very good care of me, even helped me find that "just right" color. I will be here for another month and plan to return for at least 2 more manicures and at least 1 pedicure. When I return in the fall? Hey, it will be my first stop! read more

I use to love this place. It was always my go to but over the last year they have been very inconsistent. I have requested specific pedicures on the 'menu' and each time it's completely different. I have have cases where my nails have been amazing and then for the next two or three fills they are lazy done and the manicurist seems uninterested and annoyed by my presence. The greeter is the best! He's so sweet and talkative. I wish they were able to stay consistent like they were when I first started going but sadly they have been the opposite. This last time my pedicure was rushed by the young lady, even though I paid for the pearl pedicure it took under half an hour. I've been here a couple times for pedis & they always come out great (acrylic on big toe always looks amazing). This last time I went was kinda disappointing. I had gel x nails & the lady didn't know how to remove it completely so my gel manicure lasted about 3 days before all my nails started breaking off :( & my service with her was very aggressive. She didn't ask what pedicure I wanted until a man started doing the lady next to me asked what she wanted & she didn't even offer a drink. I can sympathize as a beauty professional myself, she may have been overworked & exhausted (seems easy in a salon like this where you're pumping out clients all day long) so I gave her grace but it does suck to come in & pay full price for half price customer service. So my daughter had a gift certificate & invited me to get mommy and daughter pedi's. The lady doing my pedicure stopped for 5 minutes at a time whispering in her coworker's ear. She treated me like I was not even there. I was very turned off. She twisted my little toes to work on them it hurt & was very unpleasant. She rubbed my legs with lotion with plastic gloves on offering no pressure for 5 seconds max. Absolutely no work on smoothing the feet. I believe if she hadn't been preoccupied gossiping with her co worker from start to finish my pedi would have lasted for less than 5 minutes including the polish. Poor experience, waste of $. I had to pay $20 over the gift certificate and my feet are rough and quite frankly I'm a little irritated @ myself that I tipped for bad service. I always go to the eastside to get my pedi's done, it's $25 and they do such an amazing job, w/ hot stone leg massages & a sugar scrub massage on legs and feet. The massages make your eyes roll back they are so good. They remove all the dead skin from heels and feet and smooth out any roughness. It's a treat and I'm addicted. read more

Got treated to a mani and pedi for my birthday by my cousin. I got gel polish and after about 2 weeks, it's held up well. The only reason why I deducted 1 star was because she wanted a spa pedicure but they gave her the basic pedicure. We didn't realize the pedicurist was done until she started painting her toe nails and by then it was too late to ask her to start scrubbing her calluses away. My husband and kids gave me a gift certificate to this salon. I had frequented it a couple of times before and the service was okay. I don't like to be pestered for "upgrades" which they do a lot here. When their regulars show up, you know it because they are so animated with them. Try and take your own gel polish and they charge you five to seven dollars for the top coat!! They have this one lady do a lot of the pedicures and well,.....she can barely understand you and does a below mediocre job. My feet came out feeling so rough, that I had to treat them when I got home. It was terrible. My husband got me another gift certificate before I could tell him that I would rather not go there ever again. So, I gave it about a year and before my GC could expire I tried it again. This was my first mani pedi experience in El Paso over a year ago when I first moved here. I am now a regular customer and always see Kay. This place is like no other. It is so relaxing. The owners always make sure you are comfortable. If you are thirsty they will offer you water or even wine! I moved to the east side and have tried other places but the service doesn't compare. Kay does an excellent job, and really cares about her customers. I have also had my lashes done by Michael and they have lasted 3-4 weeks! You will not be disappointed in this place. If you are ever unhappy they make an effort to fix it! All the employees are very pleasant and always talk to the customers and make you feel welcome and important! I know Angie does a great job with acrylic, and also Sophie is another very personable nail tech that is very good with mani and pedi's. Updated to add, for those complaining about the prices: you get what you pay for! You get excellent service, great surroundings, quality products, and a high standard of care. Why would you want an 8 dollar manicure where the polish is chipping and they massage your hands for 30 seconds with cuticle oil and dollar store lotion somewhere else? I love it here. They do awesome powder dip. "Kim" is my favorite not too thick and she's fast. Tom does great too. There massage chairs don't seem to be working right on some models. We just love the staff. Their fun, outgoing I bring my daughter here and she always tells me how nice and friendly everyone is. I came in to get my acrylic nails removed because the last place I went to messed them up bad. They were thick and bulky, uneven and crooked. Sonny told me he could fix them. It is a very large salon with lots of manicure stations, pedicure chairs, and staff to fill them. I don't normally need a manicure, just a polish change, but they gave me one of the best manicures I've ever had! I can say the same about the pedicure.
