I got the same kind of cut I've had as a walk in at the mall for much less, and not at all the same kind of cut I've had from a pro stylist for a bit more downtown. They used an electric trimmer on most of my hair - a higher end stylist would actually use scissors all over, and charge less than half of these guys. The guy then tried to charge me $14.40 for HST, claiming that he had to charge it on the full amount, which was $120. First of all, you never pay HST on the regular price, you pay it on the amount you actually are charged. When have you ever bought something on sale and then got charged HST based on the non-sale price? Secondly, I have never seen a mens cut in the Vancouver area for anywhere near the amount they're claiming they regularly charge. I didn't like the atmosphere, the customer service, the cut that I got... nothing about this experience was good.
