Welcoming and spotlessly clean, VDS is an oasis on the North Fork. My wife and I got 60 min full body PLUS a life altering 60 min head massage for less than we would spend on a hit or miss dinner out here. The experience is so worth the price that I will spare you a review and offer an endorsement. Just Go. This place is a mini vacation provided by a staff who care and orchestrated by owners who understand value and appreciate it over projected guilt. I've been a client since their original location, and it has been wonderful to watch Sandi and Camille grow the spa into what it is today. Everyone in my group had great treatments, especially the butterfly signature massage which includes a back scrub. When I first walked in, I thought it was just a regular salon but then I was told to go through the curtains into a small lounge area. It was set up with seating, mimosas, water and some cookies. I always show up on time to my appointments. I thought my appointment was for 11:15. I arrived and nobody mentioned to me that I was late or anything and they just cut my massage short. When I went to checkout I said she just did the express massage it's okay but if you can change it so I just pay for that and they told me I was late and had to pay for the full service. I was honestly shocked because I truly had no idea I was late. They claimed they called and left me a voicemail at 11 but they did not, I live 5 mins away I would have ran there if I got that call. Only confirmation I received was 3 days before the service. I used to work in the service industry and I just feel I should have been told I was late and maybe offered to move my appt. Massages aren't cheap. It's not easy to get time away from my baby and I'm super uncomfortable being pregnant. I just don't think it was fair that I was charged full price.
