I have now been to Cate about 5 times. After the first appointment, I would have given 5 stars, but I wanted to wait til I had a few (since I'd never had any sort of facial before this) to see if I thought it was absolutely worth it (and not just on occasion). It absolutely is. A friend recommended me to Cate after showing impressive before and after photos. I was sold. My skin has been struggling for the last year and it has been a rollercoaster trying to clear it up. I get the microdermabrasion with Spa daze facial. Pros: *Cleanliness- A+++ *Temperature of room- I have never been too hot or too cold. I'm always comfortable. *Spa bed- I could sleep there all day *Cost- I browsed manyyy different places and price compared. Cate's prices are very fair, especially for what you receive and especially for being on el Paseo. Even if you are on a tighter budget, I guarantee you can afford to splurge on her services. *appointments- easy to make and she always responds quickly. *Microdermabrasion- I find this procedure to actually be sooo pleasant. It's like a light scratchy feeling and it just feels like I'm getting the best exfoliation of my life. Even when my skin is horrible, the next day my whole face feels so smooth (even the blemishes) My makeup applies better too. *Spa Daze Facial- I love everything about this. The products used feel AMAZING. I love that Cate will switch it up and try different things on my skin. It never feels like a just get a standard treatment and I have never been disappointed with anything. I truly feel like she pays attention to my skin and what it needs. Oh and my feet, back, chest, arms, fingers, and toes get a massage too?! I could cry. It is the most relaxing hour of my life. *Cate- Honest, informative, kind, friendly, knowledgeable. Her personality and overall presentation is what puts her at an easy solid 5 stars. You can tell the difference of a person who loves their job and a person who just wants the money. She understands that her services are more of a luxury and that not everyone can afford it all the time. I love that. My skin is horrible, and instead of trying to get me to go in every two weeks, she said for me to try every month until my skin is back on track and then I can slow down. It made me feel she's more concerned about what works for me and whats realistic, than an opportunity to try to make money. That is what has made me a returning client. I don't feel pressured. When I asked about getting a chemical peel, she told me to wait until after summer because she does specials then and plus, desert heat is too harsh right now. So not only was she concerned about the safety of my skin, but saving me money too?! I love her. I just do. She's also wonderful to talk to. It's not forced or uncomfortable. I spend the first half of my treatment catching up on life with her and the second half in a spa coma. I will forever rave about her. I'm convincing all of my friends and family that facials are as necessary as pedicures.
