I recently had to unexpectedly for weeks do a lot of physical labor that made pretty much every muscle in my body ache. When the month long project was done I decided to book myself a therapeutic massage. I honestly did not think it would be able to help much but hoped it might at least momentarily ease some of the pain. I was also concerned because I am on vacation here and always get nervous about trying out a new massage salon. Mark was amazing and very professional. He really listened to what areas were my main concerns and worked on those areas. He checked on the pressure he was applying several times to ensure he was providing relief without causing discomfort. He knew the interconnections of the body's structural system to know how to not only work directly on the tight areas but also those areas that attached to it to help release the tightness. By the end of the 90 minutes session I felt vastly better than when I went in. The BEST part, is that relief stayed with me throughout the day and the next. Mark really worked miracles and I would highly recommend him. I definitely plan to go back and get another massage. read more

If you come in for a couples massage and ask for a specific masseuse, they will not honor your request and say they have a specific masseuse for the male only. Considering you know which masseuse you want AND are paying $210 plus tip, so for over $250, they will assign you a masseuse. You get what you get, no hospitality at all. They also hire people who are licensed cosmetologists and not professional, nor experienced masseuse. Also. they only have one single bed that heats up. read more

I spent a week in Siesta key shortly after hurricane Milton. I was delighted to find one area on the key where I could get a massage. It was also a great way to give back to the community there. After much research, I found spa experience and decided to book with the owner, Connie. I booked a Swedish massage. Arrived promptly for my appointment and received a great greeting when I entered the business. The owner Connie was also behind the desk. After some great chatting, Connie brought me back to the room where I changed and got ready for my massage. I signed up for a Swedish massage. I got what I'm going to call a Connie special. It seems like the combination of Swedish reflexology and deep tissue. Without any prompting, Connie found the spots that really needed some work as she has innate intuition. After about an hour, I floated out of the business! I had a bad pain on my shoulder, which disappeared. I highly recommend this place as it's not like one of those membership shops. Had Marika as my specialist she was amazing! Very attentive and asked me important questions along the way to ensure I was comfortable. Last winter I had a massage at Massage Experience while visiting my in-laws for Christmas. It had come so highly recommended. I booked a 90 minute massage bit only had 75 minutes, I was a little late and said it was fine to stay on schedule and go a shorter time. My massage was decent, not the best nor the worst. I have issues with my back and hips and get massage regularly, but this didn't give me the pain relief what I needed. Then when I went to pay, the masseuse charged me for a full 90 minutes even though I'd only had 75. Then she asked for gratuity on top and argued with me when I explained I was already over paying for my massage. They also had very thin walls so in the waiting room I was constantly being shushed by the staff to keep my voice down. During my massage I also heard every detail of the conversation outside. Not relaxing at all. Definitely would not recommend or go back. read more

Pretty much one of the best parts of my vacation was finding Connie! And it figures I would find someone this fantastic while out of town. Not that you need to twist my arm to get me to go back to Siesta Key...! This was possibly one of the best massages I have ever had. I have chronically wretched neck and shoulder pain, exacerbated by the excitement of working daily at a computer. What made Connie's massage so great was she really worked with me and helped me focus on learning to relax and really concentrate on relaxing into the massage itself. She did an incredible job working almost exclusively on my shoulders and neck (great scalp massage, too), and it was never too deep or painful. It was exactly what I needed. Most massages feel decent at the time, but they don't really do much long-term good, or even really do much for me over the next few days. It was apparent to me how much passion Connie has for what she does and it really came through in my massage. Now I just need to find someone with skills like that in Dallas! I would definitely come back just for Connie (although the beaches are nice too)! read more

Have you ever asked yourself what makes a great massage? For me, the really good ones are much more than rubbing lotion on my skin. My most memorable massages start with a clean, quiet environment, a short interview with a clearly interested and focused therapist, and, oh yeah, the massage. I've probably had hundreds of massages of various types (stone, Swedish, deep, etc) on cruise ships, high-end spas, hair salons, resorts, girlfriends (!) and the like, - even medical ones (prescribed by a doctor) - and it is obvious when a therapist is just marking time or they really care about their customers. You can tell you have a really good one when they seem to connect with you. It is very rare when all of the above converge to make a wonderful experience. This place is that! Its a terrific, unpretentious oasis that hit all of my criteria. It's in a small shopping plaza so you have to look for the hanging sign, but well worth the hunt. Make sure you ask for Constance as your therapist though. She's the owner and clearly cares about your experience. (As a bonus, she didn't seem to have any [visible] piercings or tattoos either!) 31/2 stars ... I got the siesta refresher package and it was amazing. I loved the product so much that I purchased the enzyme peel and the moisturizer for sensitive skin. I will suggest that if you buy the product used that you do so online because the spa sells them for $30 more than the seller on Amazon. The owner carried out my service and she was great!! She was so friendly and careful with my skin I truly felt pampered. She was quite chatty but I didn't mind too much at this instance but I've been known to be silent while relaxing. The space is quite small but they didn't have me waiting long at all. I do think it could use some rearranging and decluttering but overall I was satisfied. My friend got a 60 min massage and she said it was great but definitely could've used the 90 minutes lol. This is no resort spa, there's no locker, robes, showers, pool, relaxation area, no wine, snack or drink offered so this is a small "spa" but overall the services were performed well. read more

My massage with Jennifer was an overall fantastic experience, and I can't say enough good things about it and her! It was the best massage I have ever experienced (and I get them on a regular basis)! She found muscles that I didn't even know I had, and adjusted her massage and time spent on specific areas that needed it the most. She was receptive to my feedback throughout the massage and made sure that she had thoroughly covered all specified problem spots before concluding the massage. Recently our family had gone through 2 extremely stressful situations. This was our first massage since both events. I briefly shared where I carry my tension - shoulders. Connie took it from there. During the massage, she had asked me about a few specific issues, and I confirmed there had been issues/pain in that area. She provided a wonderful environment, friendly staff, professional in every way. Connie is awesome! I got her signature treatment with a massage and facial. She really takes the time to find the muscles that are tight and work through them. I had a hard time trying to relax, but she helped me with some deep breathing to relax my muscles. The facial was also great and my skin feels awesome.
