My husband and I had a couples massage here and it was absolutely wonderful. The two ladies did a wonderful job! We had a foot scrub and a full body relaxation massage which was definitely relaxing. They have us tea and a glass of champagne. The place Is in a shopping plaza, between a medical office and an Italian restaurant, but once inside it was really pleasant. They had scented candles and soft music playing throughout all the rooms. The people were kind and soft spoken and the whole atmosphere was great. I purchased a groupon for this Spa for a couples message for my Husbands Birthday. I took forever to get an appointment. If you left a message they never called back. If you did reach them, they said they would call back, and that never happened. It took 2 months to finally get an appointment. THEN when finally making the appointment, they required in advance, payment for the tip @ $20 a person. Message was fine, but the overall experience was not !!!! read more

Spa I in 33029 off of Pines inside of Baby Selfie 3D in the Silver Lakes plaza is very disappointing in comparison to the one on University and Sheridan. The staff was nice but were getting things mixed up like my name as well as my payment. The 2 misuse that we had due to us getting a couples massage touched us as if they did not want to touch us. The paper asked us to specify the amount of pressure we desired and we both picked moderate and it was as if we came to get tickled. I would not recommend anyone book at that location unless they have $145 to waste on a tickle session . read more

I was called the day before my appointment to confirm and due to unforseen circumstances I wasn't able to keep the appointment. I was then told I would be charged another $40 gratuity to reschedule. The owner of this establishment is very unprofessional. I booked an appointment through Groupon and was on the table in the middle of a massage when she barged in the room and told us that we didn't make a reservation so we must get up and leave the room so that the couple that DID make a reservation is able to get their massage. Up until this point we were handled and treated politely and with the respect that a human being demands. Imagine my surprise when she flew in like a bat out of hell to force us off the table. When you enter the establishment, you sign in and make sure your payment went through. The receptionist took our name and I guess she assumed we were the couple who were scheduled for 4:30 yet they showed up after us. Apparently us and the 4:30 couple had the same name (we definitely did not) the disrespect that we received was on a level that I have never experienced. WORST BIRTHDAY EVER. read more

i would give this place zero stars but i had to force to give it one star. horrible business tactics, horrible customer service. the girl who answers the phone is super unfriendly, no customer service skills. i havent been able to get an appointment there for weeks.. i gave up on that dumb receptionist to call me back. still waiting for her call.. contacted groupon, told them how bad this company was and they were kind enough to refund my money into groupon credit. that at least made up for the dumb spa attitude. how are those people still in business. read more

I got a Groupon for valentines after trying calling several times to make the appointment the lady who pick up the phone is very rude and disrespectful. she charges 20 per person tip in advance with a credit card over the phone. If there was an option for a negative star I would give it!!! My husband and I were planning a day for our 5 year Anniversary and I called at 9:30am on a Saurday hence the website says they open at 9am. The lady whom answered the phone (Giselle) stated that they open at 10am I simply asked her why does it say 9am on the website. She replied, "I'm not going to argue with you" wow! Talk about customer service.. I also asked about the groupon and wanted to book an appointment she said we had to wait 2 weeks out so I asked why so long and she replied "because I said so" now wait a minute this sounded more than just bad customer service it was more like harassment to me.. I asked for the owner and she said she was the owner. I asked your the owner? She replied " I sure am" in a very cocky manner...I know for sure she will not stay in business for long. Never again. They started our appointment time late and ended at originally scheduled time. Cut into my fiance"s massage time to start her facial because they started late. I never take the time to write negative reviews, but this encounter was so horrid, I decided to warn others of the dreadful customer service my boyfriend and I received at Spa I. We were appalled by the actions and demeanor of the lady at the front desk, who seemed to be the owner. We purchased a Groupon for $99 which stated "60-minute couples massage with a body scrub." We were under the impression that it was a 60 minute massage, but it was only 30 minutes and a 25 minute "foot scrub" (not a body scrub as mentioned in the deal), which we did not receive. We arrived around 5:45 pm, and she stated that we could only get the 30 minute massage due to another appointment. We asked if we would be able to reschedule the other 30 minutes of our session for a different day and she completely ignored our question. Once we were finished we handed the masseuse a $20 tip, and continued to walk out. The lady stopped us and asked us for $40, and stated that everyone who purchases the Groupon must pay the extra amount, as gratuity and form of payment for the masseuses. However, the masseuse are not allowed to take the tip, although the money she was requesting from us was to pay them. I would have much rather handed them personally the other $20 to assure their payment, being that I work in the food industry and are well aware of tipping. Spai.com states "generally, the appropriate range is 15-20% of the price of the service. For your convenience an 18% gratuity will be added to your bill," however, we were being forced to tip 40%, opposing their "etiquette". We felt like she tried to extort us, only providing us with half the service which we paid for and having to pay a total of $140 for two 30 minutes massage, which of course is not a good deal. She was extremely unprofessional and rude. She went on and on about not making any profit if we didn't pay the extra money because they have to "pay to wash the sheets." In no part of the Groupon, including the fine lines, did it state the additional gratuity, nor that it is only a 30 minute massage, or that the Groupon purchases are only available Monday through Friday. Furthermore, she and another worker said in Spanish under their breath, something along the lines, my boyfriend and I are dumb; to which I responded in Spanish, I speak the language perfectly. Her face turned pale in embarrassment. She ruined the entire experience. I was getting extremely upset and aggrevated, I asked my boyfriend to hand her the other $20, just to get out of there, but that we would be writing a negative review for her business. Once she heard that, she told my boyfriend to keep his money and go. I have never felt so disrespected and coerced by an unprofessional business owner. I will never set foot in that location ever again, and I suggest you don't either. read more
