I went for a 1 hr deep tissue massage after running a half marathon. I got there and the room was barely ready and a tiny sheet was folder that I had to unfold and get under. I mentioned that I wanted focus on my lower back and more my legs. My legs probably got 5 minutes and just a light pass through, not even a massage. I don't think my request was understood and I felt a bit uncomfortable at the end when my legs were raised, my knees brought to my chest for a stretch.... glad I wore underwear. I don't think I'll be going back and going to another spa to get what I requested. read more

Extremely unprofessional. Booked a couples massage. Therapists whispered to each other in a foreign language throughout. Not very relaxing. Left a 15% tip & were told they usually get 20%! Technique was nice, so we showed up on time to our next appointments (booked separate rooms to eliminate chit chat) & were told to wait 30 minutes! Had to argue with owner to get reimbursed. Went there for a couple's deep tissue massage with my husband. They got us in immediately and offered us a hot stone treatment for a really good price, which we accepted. The massage therapists were prompt and professional, asking us consistently about our pressure preferences and if we were comfortable. The hot stone massage was amazing and the deep tissue massage was super effective and relaxing. We definitely want to come back soon! read more

We went in for a couple's massage last week. Wasn't quite sure what to expect (went by the quality of the other Yelp reviews), but were pleasantly surprised. The massage was excellent, and we left feeling like we were on cloud nine. The spa is a little less fancy than your massage chains, but the massage itself was as good as anywhere else we've been, and the pricing is really affordable. If you are looking for professional salon that listens to your issues and problems, this is your place. I have been coming to this salon, when I work long hours and have tension in my back and shoulders. Every time I come, I leave the place rejuvenated, relieved and fixed. Highly recommend this place. This is not a fancy spa, or massages that you can get with 50 other ppl in a room. The place is clean, professional and helps me tremendously. The spa has very poor organization - we arranged to have a couples massage (booked far in advance when they confirmed availability). We arrived and were told that no couples rooms were available due to demand that day and were offered separate rooms. It felt like a bate and switch. We were left with no alternative but to take a much later time which disrupted our day. They gave us a hard time about getting a refund initially and leaving a tip at the end after we eventually came back to finish the service. We were waiting for long periods and spoke to another couple who had a similar experience and were waiting for over an hour in the spa's waiting room, again, due to their lack of organization. I am very disappointed with this place. We went in for a couple massage, my husband's back was hurting and I thought this was a great idea. But the massage consisted of just putting lotion and massaging your scalp??? Without releasing any tension or getting rid of body knots. As for me, I have gotten massages in many places so I have expectations, and this place was not it. We're new to the area, so it was our fault for picking this place. It is my first time going to Spa Oasis. I just walked in without making appointment beforehand, but the lady at front made great effort to accommodate me. What is more important is that the massage I had was really great. It is the best I have ever had for a very long time. The masseur put in a lot of real effort and energy, and worked really hard to give my muscles great relief after my workout the previous day. The lady was very polite and professional. I visited this Spa Oasis again yesterday. Every time the Spa gave me EXACTLY what I came for, my back was very relaxed. The atmosphere at the Spa is peaceful and beautiful in Naperville, the lighting, decor, clean smells and music all contribute to a wonderful visit. My boyfriend and I were in yesterday for a couple's massage. We get massages pretty regularly (at least once or twice a month) and have tried a lot of different places since we are normally scheduling last minute. When we left Spa Oasis last night we both agreed it was the best massage we'd had in a very long time - possibly ever - and we are hard to please people when it comes to our massages. They have a nice professional staff I told my Therapist I have a lower back problem and every time I visit I'm able to move and stretch better thanks spa oasis ! This place is very tasteful and classy. Very clean and quiet. I get a massage here at least once a week to clear my mind. They change personnel periodically, but usually have a rotation of 2 or 3. All are very good. I go for the relaxation massage and fall asleep, waking up refreshed with a clear head. But, they will also do deep tissue and stretching, whatever you need. It's all very professional. You have option for shower, which is very clean. Chinese staff has enough English, some are quite good. Highly recommend. read more

I'll start my review saying that I have never written a negative review up until now, but feel my experience warranted me taking the time to write this negative. My husband gifted me this massage and chose this place based on the positive reviews, so I don't want others to waste their money expecting a good massage. After a stressful and busy week, my husband wanted to surprise me with a massage to relax, but unfortunately I left feeling more tense and stressed. When I walked in, the receptionist (who was also the lady who did my massage) didn't know I was coming, even though my husband made an appointment and payed online the day before. She led me to a room, threw a sheet down on the table, and left. I wasn't sure if I should get undressed and lay down, so I ended up walking out to ask if she wanted me to get ready. I'm used to tables that are super comfy and warm-this one was not. It just was a massage table, with a thin pad and sheet. I got ready and laid down and waited for her to come in. When she did, she brought with her a computer that was playing spa music. That was fine until 1/2 way through the massage the YouTube channel she was playing the music from ended and it switched to people talking. Anyway, when she first came in, she never said anything to me. Also I'm used to massages where they put a pillow under your shins to take the pressure off your lower back, this didn't happen. She started the massage and it felt ok, but then I felt her kneel on the table, I couldn't believe that she was on the table with me!! She moved to the side and got on the table again, this time straddling my body while I lay face down. I have gotten many massages and NEVER have I ever had a massage therapist get on the table with me. I was so uncomfortable that I asked her to stop for a second. This was the same time the music switched and she took care of that. I was hoping she would take the hint and not get on the table with me again, so I let her continue. She did in fact get on the table again. She straddled me again (while I laid face down) and massaged my back. She then kneeled on top of my butt. The whole time this was happening I was thinking I was on an episodes of "What Would You Do". I was so confused and so uncomfortable. I let the massage keep going because I'm not one to complain and my husband got this for me as a gift and I felt bad not enjoying it. I wear my underwear during a massage, so when it got time to massage my legs, she moved my underwear and spent more time than necessary massaging my butt! I was mortified! At one point she left the room, my butt exposed, to get a wet towel to wipe off the oil. I couldn't believe she opened the door without covering me up!! The massage ended with her "stretching" me, which consisted of her moving my legs in very uncomfortable positions hurting my knees and hips. She then "massaged" my scalp which just felt like her pulling my hair for 5 minutes. I can't believe people have given this places positive reviews and that I paid a lot of money for this experience. I'm sure the owners will try to refute review as they did other negative posts, but I'm 100% honest with everything that I typed. Like I said, I have never written a negative review and am not one to complain-which is why I just sucked it up and dealt with this horrible massage for an hour. I hope that this review helps people avoid wasting their money on a "massage" from this place. read more
