Nope, nada, "You could be laundering money - we don't accept cash from people like you!" Really, I work next door to this branch, used to have an account here myself (until they did a huge screw up and quit claimed a property back to Wells Fargo 2 days after closing - ooops - this prompted me to close my account). So, they know me, but can't accommodate a simple birthday gift. They refused to talk to my daughter on the phone to confirm the transaction, so I mailed it and now it will be late. Apparently there was an issue with whatever he was trying to do so my 96-year-old mother and I just stood patiently in line while the "banker" kept coming up to us to encourage us to use the ATM machine that you have to use by getting in your car and going through the drive-through. I asked her whether she could assist us in making a simple cash deposit. She indicated that she was not able to do that despite her being a "banker". The man at the window trying to conduct his business was upset because he was trying to get back to work. It was just a cluster mess. So my 96 year old mom and I got back in our car went outside went to the commercial lane since the "ATM" lane was full... And we were practically chastised for using the commercial Lane (add an earlier trip to the same bank, we needed a roll of change from a second or third Lane --we had to change lanes to go to the commercial lane because their vacuum tubes couldn't get it as far as the third and fourth lanes.) I was looking around for the cameras while I was in line inside the bank because I thought surely this must be a joke. Unfortunately it was not.

Update: calling Launch headquarters and dealing with a local branch on Merritt island was a huge…read moreturnaround from the call center representative I dealt with in the phone. The manager was very helpful there in Getting the right people on the phone to help me out. The small branch at Cape canaveral space force base was also super helpful in getting my card back and kept constant communication in the process. Their manager and staff helped me to feel better about my situation as it shouldn't have happened in the first place and they helped me to see that the one bad apple at the call center shouldn't spoil the bunch. I'd give 0 stars if I can. The reviews here say it all about this branch and this company. I'm 25 years active duty and Their ATM stole my USAA debit card. The business the atm was at said that he Launch credit union atm has done this several times. Called the Launch credit union branch and the female rep told me it must be my bank and my card that had an issue as to why it was taken. I called my bank while Launch was on 3-way and they confirmed there was nothing wrong with my card or account so this is not my fault . As soon as the Launch credit union woman heard that, she hung up from the 3-way call and now I have to pay for a new card and expediting fees. Launch is the worst to deal with. No accountability.

The sending institution, Space Coast, confirmed the transfer that same day, meaning the funds have been in this bank's possession ever since. Yet, several days later, I still cannot access my own money because the bank placed an unexplained hold on the transfer. What makes this even more frustrating is that the bank's website does not disclose that incoming electronic transfers are subject to holds. Electronic transfers are verified at the time they are sent and received, so there appears to be no reasonable justification for withholding access to the funds. I contacted corporate and was told the local branch manager would call me back. That promise was made yesterday, and I have still received no call. The lack of communication, transparency, and urgency has been unacceptable. Customers should not have to fight for access to money that has already been verified and received by the bank. After being a long-time customer, I expected far better service and accountability. Unfortunately, this experience has seriously damaged my confidence in this institution.
