First problem is, it is not safe, No two step verification to your phone. I find that very odd. The second problem is I wanted to do A2A. So I could move my money when needed. I did all the steps required sending test amounts. Everything was approved. The minute I moved money into the account from my other bank they shut down my account. Locked me out. Then the lost prevention want a bankstatement from my bank to open it back up. I had to send them the copy of my bank statement where my bank sent the money. It is not like I am taking money out of space coast I was depositing it in. Several hours and phone calls later they want me to drive an hour and half to come in to the bank to unlock my account. Oh I will drive over, but I will be removing all my money from that bank. They are worried about the wrong things. They should be worried about security and two step verification, not someone depositing a check and shutting down/ locking me out of my account. SMH

Apparently there was an issue with whatever he was trying to do so my 96-year-old mother and I just stood patiently in line while the "banker" kept coming up to us to encourage us to use the ATM machine that you have to use by getting in your car and going through the drive-through. I asked her whether she could assist us in making a simple cash deposit. She indicated that she was not able to do that despite her being a "banker". The man at the window trying to conduct his business was upset because he was trying to get back to work. It was just a cluster mess. So my 96 year old mom and I got back in our car went outside went to the commercial lane since the "ATM" lane was full... And we were practically chastised for using the commercial Lane (add an earlier trip to the same bank, we needed a roll of change from a second or third Lane --we had to change lanes to go to the commercial lane because their vacuum tubes couldn't get it as far as the third and fourth lanes.) I was looking around for the cameras while I was in line inside the bank because I thought surely this must be a joke. Unfortunately it was not.

I have been a loyal customer for many years, but my most recent experience has been incredibly…read moredisappointing. On July 27, I initiated an electronic transfer into my account. The sending institution, Space Coast, confirmed the transfer that same day, meaning the funds have been in this bank's possession ever since. Yet, several days later, I still cannot access my own money because the bank placed an unexplained hold on the transfer. What makes this even more frustrating is that the bank's website does not disclose that incoming electronic transfers are subject to holds. Electronic transfers are verified at the time they are sent and received, so there appears to be no reasonable justification for withholding access to the funds. I contacted corporate and was told the local branch manager would call me back. That promise was made yesterday, and I have still received no call. The lack of communication, transparency, and urgency has been unacceptable. Customers should not have to fight for access to money that has already been verified and received by the bank. After being a long-time customer, I expected far better service and accountability. Unfortunately, this experience has seriously damaged my confidence in this institution.
