My young, large dog tore his ACL, and we initially had surgery performed at another veterinary clinic on the Space Coast. Unfortunately, the surgery didn't go well, he never fully healed, and just a few months later he tore his other ACL. When we came to Dr. Brady for the second injury, everything changed. Not only did she do an incredible job repairing the newly torn ACL, but she was also able to correct issues from the first surgery. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Brady was compassionate, knowledgeable, and always willing to take the time to explain our options and answer our questions. She guided us every step of the way, providing insight that was invaluable during a very stressful time. Most importantly, she gave our dog the chance to run, play, and enjoy life again. The quality of care we received was exceptional, and the pricing was more than fair. We are beyond grateful to Dr. Brady and her amazing staff for everything they did for our family. The whole team was so patient with all our questions and concerns and the surgery went great. It was a long recovery (3-4 months total) but Hilo healed great. In fact when we recently took him to another vet back in California (5 months post op) the orthopedic vet surgeon was really impressed at the X-rays and how the bone healed and how Dr. Brady got the plate so flat. Apparently post surgical complications can arise if the plate is tilted. Anyway, just wanted to share that our dog was back to his old wild ways of running and jumping and playing with our other dog and we can't thank Dr. Brady and the team at Island enough!

Made an appoint at RAC for a follow up and let Dr Corsbie know I was dissatisfied with the front staff, she told me she would have a talk with the owners. Yesterday I noticed Lexi acting strangely and she had peed in the house, thats not her, urine was off color and she was going quite often, so I suspected a UTI, called RAC for an appointment, another 24 hour wait. Back to the Emergency Hospital, as suspected, she had a UTI, I explained to the vet what had happened and was told it was a good thing I brought her in, quite painful. He also stated that if he was her vet he would have fit her in. After researching the internet, it said an animal should be seen by a vet immediately if a UTI is suspected. After explaining what was going on to the person on the phone and telling her I was not going to wait another day and I was taking her to the Emergency hospital, her reply, have a nice day. So, after using RAC for 35 + years, I am done with the excessive appointment ( overbooking) wait time, huge turnover on the front desk, and the ditz, who should have asked the Dr if my dog should have been seen, instead of getting " have a nice day".

I am a Business owner my self, and I am fully aware that MOST Reviews are BAD Reviews these days and few of them are Honest and Proper. Dr. Smith and His staff , the ER Doctor, Tessitore was incredibly knowledgable, He left no stone unturned, and provided immediate life saving care to our Aussie. Dr. Smith, the internal medicine Specialist properly diagnosed and treated our girl ,and in my opinion, professionally, he has no equal. The supporting staff, Heidi, Aaron and Stephanie were compasionate, competent and loving. Our baby was critical when we arrived, she is home 3 days later with a chance to survive. The quotes they provide are garbage because the next day the rate for X-rays went up triple the price. They said he needed psychical therapy but couldn't provide an estimate. They wouldn't refill a pain killer prescription for my 8lbs dog after 6pm, even though the doctor said a note was in the dogs file. This place is a joke avoid at all cost.
