A few of my girlfriends and I were in need of a good vibe with a view and decided to checkout Spaceman. Located inside of The Hyatt Centric Buckhead, this cute spot is a must-try for a fun night out. Upon arrival you have the option of self-parking in the garage across the street from the hotel or opting to pay valet a few bucks more. I'm always up for convenience so I went with valet and the valet guys were lovely. Located on the top floor, the elevator wasn't too far from the front door but I had a chance to peek at the hotel interior and it was gorgeous. When I got upstairs, I saw that Spaceman was just as beautiful. Because we had reservations we were quickly seated at our table on the terrace. We reserved a 4-top but one of the seats was a beanbag. Such a cute concept BUT, not so much when you're in high heels and a dress lol. Luckily, the host was kind enough to replace the cushion with a chair so I didn't fall back and over the edge. (Maybe I'm a little dramatic) The terrace was gorgeous! It wasn't a huge space but they did have three rows of seating, plus a smaller bar/prep area and it still seemed to flow well. The views were amazing! Megan was our waitress and she was great from start to finish. We all opted for different cocktails including a mojito, a Cosmo, a p**nstar martini, and the summer cocktail special that included vodka, guava, banana flavors and some other delicious stuff. They were all phenomenal! We decided to for lighter bites including the tuna tartare, wings and truffle fries. Again, everything was delicious. The tuna tartare was presented inside of an avocado shell, which was a new one for me. It was filled with fresh, flavorful tuna and paired well with the wonton chips. Located at the top of the Hyatt centric hotel near Lennox mall I recommend placing a reservation if you're not a guest of the hotel or you may not be allowed up there is inside dining and outside patio terrace seating available first come first served out reservation priority. Nice DJ. AND ATMOSPHERE MOST NIGHTS. The music sets the tone. The bartenders are experienced and generous so make sure you tip and take care of them. The kitchen closes around 11-12 depending on night and crowd maybe. Menu is sorta tapas style so feel free to order more to share. A good will be had depending on your party. I have come here so many times but the service has been extremely decreasing. This last time was supposed to be professional Wednesday but it was mostly empty. I paid $68 for wings, fries and 1 overly sweetened drink. The wings were dry, the fries were decent and the drink was too sweet. Our server was unnecessarily loud, pushy and hard to find at times, even though the place wasn't packed. It was only 2 of us but she said she could only give 1 check and we need to tell her how much she should deduct from each card. When I told her I've split checks here before, she got loud, said she would get the manager and stormed off. I think I'm good on this place for a while. read more

Attended for their weekly The Buckhead Social after-work professionals event. Free with RSVP and complimentary valet for ladies before 7 PM. I arrived around 6:30 PM and found it pretty empty. By 8:00 PM it was packed! The atmosphere is very chic and cozy. Lots of sofa seating, booths and some high top tables. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Summer Madness that was amazing. I stuck to that all evening. I didn't get any food but saw a few orders which looked delicious. The highlight - the DJ. DJ Supreme and DJ Suga Shae were great mix masters. They kept the vibes going and didn't miss a beat from old school R&B, Hip Hop, some Soca, Reggae and Afro Beats. I'll have to come back for a full experience, but a few friends and I stopped by for a late cocktail last weekend. The ambiance is nice, but honestly, they need to tighten up how they manage getting people up to the rooftop. Maybe I feel this way because Moonlight is more polished and organized in comparison. If I were a guest at the hotel, I'd probably be annoyed by the crowd in the lobby--lots of people loitering and clearly tipsy. Just being real. That said, the rooftop itself is decorated nicely and has a good selection of drinks and small bites. It wasn't too crowded when we arrived (about an hour and a half before closing), but I've heard it can get packed--which is kind of a turnoff for a spot like this. Also... they seriously need a better DJ. I love Rap/Hip-Hop, but the music didn't really match the vibe of the space. Oh--and heads up on parking. I didn't drive, but my friends did. They were bold and just said "forget it" and parked in the mall garage. We made it back just in time--literally saw the tow truck pulling in as we drove off. From what I've read, parking is definitely a struggle and there's no valet. Ubering might be the best move. read more

My husband and I went to spaceman on Saturday evening. The place is super cute, the view on the patio looking out to the city is magnificent. Our server was Megan. She was nice-ish. There was a drink on the menu that I wanted to try but she said they didn't have it because they were out of an ingredient. I asked if they could made something similar, she said the menu was transitioning because of the season change. ... ok. I ordered wine, salmon dip and salad and my husband ordered wings. Wanting to experience a rooftop bar, my friends and I were excited to find this place. They have a strategic set up where you can order your drink at the bar but have an already set up lounge area over looking the skyline. We got their Twilight serenade, Bangkok comet, and old fashioned. We all happily enjoyed our drinks while benefiting from the beautiful draft and their comfortable chairs. Only thing was the cushions held on to some moisture from the rain on the prior days. Staff were nice so we could love to come again. Ambiance was great! Music was great on a Saturday from 6-8 p.m. The food came fast and service was good. Shrimp tacos were okay. Valet parking was $25+ tip. I didnt like that our check was combined with the table next to us. There was a party, but we didn't know the people next to us. Just experienced space man for the first time tonight ambience is amazing 10 out of 10 would recommend the only thing I wouldn't recommend is the service. first of all not only are the transgender's out of pocket here with their service not even being there, but ALL genders tend to have that service here. Prepare to feel like a roach. Throughout my stay the only words mutter to me was "thank you" AFTER she got her tip in her pocket. The automatic 20% gratuity is a disservice to all customers as it allows the servers to walk around and treat you like garbage. I've had ENOUGH with the spaceman, as this is now my 3rd instance of the same disrespect. This place has lost a customer, lost money, and lost all credibility. Best place I have been to in Atlanta this week. Very friendly and cordial staff. Our bartender was amazing! She was so attentive. Can't remember her name I think it was Desi? I will update when I ask my cousin. The place is located on the roof top of the Hyatt in buckhead and worth the trip. Lots of seating. Cool vibes and views from every angle of the roof. Spaceman Kool man lol it was really dope when it first opened and in classic Atl fashion it got too popular and unknowable. It's gotten back to normal and is a very good duckoff for a nice vibe and drinks. The food is also pretty good. I had the cheeses teak sliders and the peach wings. Both were about a 4/5. This particular night the food came out before the drinks, little weird but not an issue. We were sat promptly, greeted nicely and waited on attentively. I attended Spaceman's professional night and had an amazing experience! The rooftop is situated at the Hyatt Centric-Buckhead. The vibe was immediate as soon as we stepped off the elevator. There are three sections where you can stroll around with seating options. While reservations aren't available on Wednesdays, luck was on our side as we managed to find a table. For me, it was refreshing to be in an atmosphere where people were mingling and having a good time. There's a touch of vibrancy and sophistication here, with the DJ spinning tunes to keep the energy high. It was raining that night, so we weren't able to step out onto the outside terrace. Hopefully next time we'll get to enjoy the view of the city skyline. I'm a mocktail girly, and the bartender was able to craft me a drink that was so tasty! They serve tapas-style food. I believe I missed out on the other side of the roof top that I see pictured. The place where I sat was an awkward barstool next to a table. This seating was strategically centered between the corner speaker and the left portion of a TV playing sports. If you do make a reservation I would choose the couch seating or something at the bar. I booked Spaceman Lounge in Atlanta for my birthday on May 2, 2026 reserving TWO weeks in advance. Shockingly, they called me just ONE week before to say someone had bought out the entire lounge, and they were canceling everyone's reservation for that day. This is incredibly unprofessional. If a full buyout is in the works, they should block those days AT LEAST a month in advance so nobody reserves. They completely ruined my plans and tried to reschedule for the next day but honestly, I wouldn't trust my special occasion with a venue that treats customers this way!!! Spaceman rooftop is a beautiful rooftop and gem for local Atl bar and vibe enthusiasts. I visited here on a Saturday night to meet friends and family, and it was easy to find parking, and the lobby concierge welcomes you in on where to go. The bar is beautiful against the backdrop of downtown atl's skyline and the rooftop is quant with various spots to sit/or stand and dance. After 10pm, It was a nice crew- not terribly crowded but definitely busy. We were still able to get a pair of seats at the bar and a spot outside. We had cocktails and were satisfied after 1-2. Spaceman is a rooftop bar/lounge/restaurant located at the top of the Hyatt. I checked it out on a Saturday evening. Walked up to the bar and the bartender seemed annoyed to have to make drinks. She actually told us to move to where the servers were and wait until she was free. Fortunately a nice group of ladies witnessed the interaction and offered to order for us since the bartender seemed unbothered. Strange. It is incredibly challenging to find a seat/table. Reservations are a must in the evening. Be mindful It's one of those locations that wants you to buy bottle service before they'll grant a reservation online. Great views but may not be worth the hassle. The place could also use music and more mingling space. Rating is really for the view and scene. read more

Spaceman is one of those places where they want to give off the upper echelon vibes. When you arrive, you'll see high end cars at the valet, but you'll also see $20 self parking. Once you get up to the rooftop, the views are nice, but the experience is just okay. It's hard to get decent service, and the value of the food and drinks are not worth the charge. One drink is at least another $20 and that will obviously add up very quickly. It's also just hard to get service because of the amount of people that are there. This is a place I'll visit for special occasions but not on a consistent basis. It's just not for me but that's okay. read more
