Came to Estoria for Vice Taco night - highly , highly recommend! Amazing tacos courtesy of Vice, good drinks, and great live music from a local band. It was very crowded so be prepared for long food/drink lines, however it was well worth the wait!

I'm writing this review to set your expectations, not to encourage this establishment to change their ways. I've passed this place for five years & today thought I'd review their menu on my walk to the belt line. After determining this was counter service I ordered a cheeseburger from the menu from the bar. The bartender quickly recognized I was a newbie. It was served in a to-go box with no napkins or utensils & while it was deliciously prepared, this is not a restaurant. It's a dive that happens to have a food menu. The fries were seasoned to perfection. Perhaps if you are looking for a to-go experience , this would be best. Clearly a popular place, I just didn't get the memo on the experience.

Dive Bars aren't supposed to have good food, but this bar didn't get that memo! Right in the heart of CabbageTown, across the street from the best graffiti in town, sits this little gem. Outdoor deck seating, plus seats inside - but we just sat at the bar. Ordered Chicken Nachos and Quesadillas with our drinks, and we were pleasantly surprised! The food was tasty - the strong pour drinks were great - and it was all priced fair. The walls are covered with graffiti, and it is several layers thick in the bathroom. Heck; they even had drink specials on Saturday! We loved it ALL!!

This is an awesome night hangout. Like most restaurants, they've adapted to Covid. Tons of outdoor seating make this a great safe stop. I enjoyed my first hot toddy of the season here. It wasn't too strong but packed a good punch. They also revamped their menu. Didn't have time to grab a bite but I will most definitely return soon! #ashsaidit

Good service, cheap drinks, cool atmosphere. This is one of my favorite bars in Atlanta. They do have some parking, but not very much.

Ordered 10 wings: half buffalo-lemon pepper/half lemon pepper, 5 wings in Korean-buffalo with a side of chili cheese fries, and 2 Coors Banquets (cuz we're classy like that. Food came out probably 15 min after and I was ready to dig in. These wings were pretty hyped and with anything popular, I'm always worried I'm going to be disappointed. But OMG these wings are worthy of their hype. The flavor of their sauces is incredible and they hit that desired balance of crispy and juicy. The meat falls off the bone. Tell you what, I'll definitely be back. I've also heard great things about their karaoke nights so that's going on my list as well

The wings were all well seasoned, and even the dry rub wings didn't taste dry. It tasted tender and juicy and I've never experienced that before with dry rub wings. We ordered the lemon pepper buffalo wings, buffalo wings, and Korean bbq buffalo wings and a side of fries. Our favorite was the buffalo wings. It had the right balance of juiciness and flavor. I wouldn't recommend the Korean bbq wings since it didn't have enough tangyness to it and didn't stand out. The French fries are a must order. The fries were so crunchy, and they were still crunchy even towards the end when we were almost finished eating. We arrived 30 minutes before they opened on a Friday and there were already people waiting in the lot which was crazy! It started raining while we were waiting in line and the line got even longer. If you're planning to try The Local, I would recommend coming on a regular weekday or come earlier if you're coming on the weekend because the line is crazy. There is some seating inside and outside the bar. We got there early enough to swipe a table. There were people standing and waiting for a table while waiting for their orders. Service was excellent! Tables are first come first serve. Plenty of parking in the back parking lot. I wouldn't wait in the rain for this but it was definitely worth a try!

Drinks are affordable, the pours are generous, and the vibe is exactly what you want from a neighborhood dive -- relaxed, unpretentious, and full of character. The bartender named Jack was sweet and entertaining considering it was a slow night. He flirted a lot with my friend and it was a silly moment. We went back to enjoy a night out again before heading home the next day and Jack was there again. Because my friend had had such a good time chatting with him before she flirted back a little bit and was just enjoying the night. We ordered food and drinks and things were going well. Throughout the night Jack and my friend would sneak off and talk and make out while he was on the clock. None of this mattered to me because who cares, it's a bar, we're young and just having a bit of fun. However after we left the bar he texted my friend that it was "messed up" we only tipped 15% on our $193 bill claiming he "took care of so much" for us. I'm not even sure what that means because again - our bill for that night was almost $200. The food was amazing - I need the salsa recipe STAT - but overall the bartender ended up being kind of a jerk that seemed like he was just doing all this to get laid. Earlier this week (mind you it's July) I went back to give this place a second chance and the bartender mentioned before - JACK - was asked by one of my friends if we could get green tea shots and he felt it appropriate to confront me about this review. I apologized if my math was wrong because he claimed i only tipped 13% & not 15% was constantly saying "20% is standard" (not true but whatever) and then when i said he claimed to take care of so much HE claimed the bill should've been $250 and then said "but i understand your white entitlement lets you think you can do whatever" (idk i blacked out with rage after "white entitlement") MIND YOU you i'm half chinese not that it matters, jack - cause i know you're reading this - & i of course got heated because HES ALSO WHITE so clearly HIS white entitlement lets him think he can be hateful to patrons for reviews regardless of wether or not they try to take ownership of their faults. Needless to say the staff here is awful and I will NEVER come back to this bar so enjoy that win, Jack.

The next time in 2024 when I was in the area, they were closed for a remodel. Today was the day. The beer selection was fantastic and so was the food. I got the pork sandwich with greens on top. It was delicious, but it could've not had juices leaking so much? Maybe cheese below and above the meat to try to keep some of the juices off the bun or maybe more bun toasting? The fries were amazing and I should've gotten the aolie initially, but didn't get it until I saw another table with an order. It was delicious. The service was very good.
