In January, they were running a promotion for the spa - spend $50 in Jan redeem for $100 in March. So at checkout I asked about it and said, "let's do it." I asked to go ahead & book the service. I paid the $50 and booked a facial for March. Never had a facial there. Don't know the people. Just wanted to use my promotional balance. Well, conveniently I was booked with someone who did not qualify for the promotional balance. Didn't find out until it was time to pay in March after the service was performed. So I paid $250 for a 30 minute service that should've cost me $150. On a previous trip, I spent THIRTY ONE MINUTES booking a next appointment for a highlight. Not 31 minutes waiting, 31 minutes booking. It literally took her that long to find a time that worked with my stylist 3 months out. The front desk staff is totally incompetent and the business doesn't operate with integrity. So disappointing.

I was asked to say if the massage became painful and was over 5. I continuously had to tell her that it was too much and painful. As soon as she would lighten up she would go back to an intense and almost unbearable pressure. The entire massage and following I felt as if i was being lectured on mechanics of the body, and what I needed to do differently. It's not that I mind helpful advice but this woman seemed as if she simply wanted to boost her self esteem with her vast knowledge. I ended up being in more pain than before the massage and even felt bruised and sore to the touch. I attempted to contact them through there website to let them know this before writing my review. I never heard back from anyone.

I work a desk job and I so much tension in my back and neck area. This time I request a 90 minute message instead of my normal 60 minutes. During my session Travis mentioned trying their new LED light bed for my back and knee tension. He said overtime it helps the muscle pain and inflammation. So during my check-out the Manager acre gave me a complimentary hour to try out the new Light Stim bed. It took a moment to get comfortable on the flat plastic bed. You're giving goggles to protect your eye which is good. I completed 15-20 minutes faced up and then the same faced down. If you're a woman it's a bit uncomfortable laying flat on your chest but I managed to adjust. I may give this another try but it's nice to have options at the spa.

Her therapy techniques will vary based on how one is feeling. I have been going to Alicia for at least 3 years and the sessions have always helped me: she has done deep tissue, Swedish, feet reflexology and cupping - All equally and wonderfully applied in a holistic approach. The new location is easy to access with plenty of parking. The inside space is well appointed, quiet and relaxing. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable.
