I have been coming to this salon off and on for years. I have always had a great experience up until my last visit. I got a full set of acrylics and the first thing that was of annoyance was the nail tech asking if I was ready when I clearly was still choosing a color. I fet rushed even though there was only one other customer in there. Through my whole nail process I felt the service was quite underwhelming. I felt the technician was quite rough and I left with cuts on two fingers. This has never happened to me before. Secondly, I got sparkly tips and on some nails the polish is visibly raised higher, appearing chunky. I had to inform her that there was a part between the tip polish and the base color that was CLEAR aka no polish. She " fixed " this by making the tip part wider than the base color, which is not cute. Lastly the shaping was not the best as you can see the side of my thumb was sticking out. I have filed it down myself since then. I feel bad making this negative review because I have loved this place for so long, but I just found this experience incredibly displeasing. Don't think I would get acrylics here again. read more

I was not impressed by this salon. They do not do any of the nice and basic things that any other salon does. My cuticles were left bleeding and haggard, hanging off my nails and they did not clean them up before completing the color, so it looked incredibly sloppy. They did not clean up the end of the nails, leaving all with significant shavings still attached and unsightly. They even used the drill and I've never experienced another salon needing to do this damage to my nails. The equipment is old and worn and there is a lack of expression of any care for their customers. It has been an overall awful experience here. read more

I have been coming to Fashion Nails Bar on and off for the last 10 years. Same location, same name, different owners and staff over time. The last time I went was in July and it will probably be the last time for good. My acrylic nails were uneven lengths and shapes and I was suddenly charged an extra $5 for a coffin shaped nail. When I asked when this was started, I was told it had always been that way, though I hadn't been charged an extra fee for coffin nails the last six months. I ultimately had to return to have my nails fixed because they were so uneven. Though they were very nice and professional, I can't say it's worth the trip for me. read more

Stop in to this updated, beautifully decorated nail bar in Charlotte while I was visiting family. Its family owned in operated and I must say and Emily and Kelly where fantastic. They speak beautiful English and provided the best customer service. I've been getting my nails done for a long time and am quite picky, however the shellac french tips they gave me where beautiful and i have no complaints. And ladies, they also serve wine and spit stores just to keep you in the mood. The pedicure with hot stones and scented sea salt scrub was absolutely divine. They took their time and massage all the Kings out of my accounts I was in Blythe for 1 hour. I almost forgot, I got this wonderful face mask that had Collagen in it. It reduced redness on my skin and maid me look 5 years younger. It's only $20 but a must have item. If you don't get it with your services, buy it and give it to somebody is a gift. Found this place on Yelp. Came in for a fill in only. The place seems older and in need of repairs and upgrades. Feels like a regular nail salon definitely NOT spa feeling. The nail techs talk so loud to the customers and to each other. Don't expect to come here and relax. There were 3 people working on a Saturday and they were not busy. Most nail salons on Saturdays are packed especially the pedicure chair. Only one person was getting a pedicure and she had to tell the nail tech to get the polish off her cuticle. The nail techs are very nice and friendly. The tv was in the news and music playing in background. Again definitely not a spa feel. I won't be back. Too many nail salons in the area to settle for below average service. read more

Worst nail salon experience ever! I went for a pink & white acrylic fill. The nail tech was one of the owners. She was rude and didn't listen to anything I was telling her I wanted. She was constantly looking around the shop, whispering to her employees, and barley paying any attention to my nails. A little piece of one of my tips broke off. Instead of just building that little section up with the white acrylic powder, she took a nail clipper and roughly clipped off the acrylic from the entire nail! It was so painful and I kept telling her that, but she didn't seem to care. I have never had that done before! The finished job was messy and nothing like I wanted. While I was in there another customer got into an argument because they double booked her appointment and they couldn't take her at that time. She left very angry and said she will never be coming back. Maybe she was the lucky one since she left before they had a chance to do her nails. read more

I have been going here for an SNS manicure for about a year and a half now and I love it. I don't know of many nail salons in the Cornelius area that do SNS and they do a great job. I typically get my nails done by Anna and she is the best! There was one time when I had an issue with a nail after I got it done and they told me to come back the next day to get it fixed for no charge. read more

I have been going to this nail salon for years! I have obviously been pleased with the staff and the services in the past. The personnel has changed from time to time, but they have always been pleasant. Unfortunately, on my last visit that was not the case. They have a new employee with long blonde hair that was very rude!!!! She was very annoyed because I was having a hard time relaxing my feet during a pedicure.
