Why is everything so expensive here... i literally wanted a fill for my nails and for them to just get filled it was 45 DOLLARS LIKE HUH... if I wanted them to trim down my nails cause they are longer than I wanted it would be 7 DOLLARS MORE just so my nails are not so long!!! Like yall are already doing my nails let's just trim them down a bit it does not take that much work. I just got done with my nails and they are sharper than heck... I press them down on my skin and they are cutting me! my first set from here was not bad and now it's terrible also y nail polish is bumpy and she it's uneven... not to mention she was gonna charge me 15 extra dollars for chrome (I wanted to add it to make me less hate my nails but not for that) I can go in Amazon an buy a 16 pack of chrome for 8 DOLLARS! read more

It's been a while since I've had to write a bad review, but here it goes. I came to Tina Nails & Spa for a pedicure to relax and a pleasant experience, but I was very disappointed with my service. Entering the technicians seemed to be very friendly and knowledgeable about their services as I planned to have two pedicures and two manicures done. As my person began working on my pedicure, she was taking her time while working on me. Although she wasn't engaging in conversation at all, I just thought she was quiet. The person working on my boyfriend was very friendly, they talked the entire time. I appreciated that because it was his first time, and I wanted it to be enjoyable. When my person noticed another couple come into the salon, it was as if someone threw $100 at her. She immediately forgot about me and rushed through my pedicure. I paid for the organic Pedi which included a hot towel wrap of both legs and message. As she rushed to get me out of her chair, she warped bother of my legs in one towel, whereas my boyfriend's person took her time and did his services correctly. My person messed up on my nail polish twice and blamed it on me, but it was her rushing to get to the other couple. Part of me just wanted to walk out, but I said to myself, nope, this is his first time, and I want him to enjoy himself. What took the cake for me was, when we over for my manicure and she did NOT plan to soak my hands to soften my cuticles at all. It wasn't until I said something to her. She grabbed her clipping tools and was about to clip my cuticles without even soaking them. I snatched my hand back so quickly and said, "excuse me! You haven't soaked my nails to allow my cuticles to soften!" She said, "oh well, that will take longer!" I said, "are you in a rush?" She said, well, I have other clients" I proceed to tell her I was here way before them, and my appointment is just as necessary as there's." She then walks over to the sink, fills a bowl with water, and squeezes hand soap into the bowl. I was BOILING HOT and completely DONE! I apologized to my boyfriend and said we had to go. He knew I was completely done. His person was like, is everything ok? And he told her nope, if she's mad, it does not return at this point, and it wasn't. Meh. Wasn't great, wasn't horrible. I got a regular pedicure but it felt very rushed. It felt more like an express type pedicure at the airport. The first girl that started my pedicure ended up leaving my pedicure mid appointment to go to a regular clients nail appointment. So another finished it up. I don't think she should've taken my pedicure knowing she had another appointment in the next few minutes. The massage on my legs + feet maybe lasted two minutes. It was pretty disappointing. The paint on my toes was okay... but they came back and fixed it. As I said... wasn't the worst but DEFINITELY wasn't the best. I probably wouldn't visit again, I'll keep looking for a new great spot. I really wanted to love it.... Bummer! read more

I was visiting in Mooresville this week and today decided to stop in. I had an amazing time with my pedicure turned out great her name is bre. My nails on the other hand are terrible. I have acrylic with gel polish never have I ever seen them look like this. They are so thick and the gel polish is so lumpy! underneath part and sides of my nails are so rough they feel and look like sandpaper. I'm very disappointed. read more

I have been a client for quite a while. my technician, got a job somewhere else. I decide to select another technician. things where doing well, till I decide to stop the SNS I was having a discomfort on one of my nail, the cuticle on one of my fingers was inflame, so I Told the technician I want to take a break from the SNS, so my finger can heal, I wanted a manicure. she did the manicure, but was not happy, she keeps telling me that the nail will get thin, wish I new. She went on with the manicure she used a drill that was hurting me, and cut my skin, she blame me for moving the hand. she drill so deep that you can see the pink skin under the nail. the nail polish was bumpy I gave her a $10 tip because she did her job even though is was the worst experience I ever had. the owner was also rushing her because another client show up, mind you I made an appointment. My appointment was for a basic mani and pedi at 2:15. Didn't get serviced until 2:30pm. I my pedi didn't get done until 3:14pm and they decided to not do my manicure! My pedicure was poorly done! The bottom of my foot is still right and after it was serviced it was still rough, tough, and not even! First and last time using this place and I would never recommend it! read more

This was my 2nd time getting my nails done and i really wasn't impressed. i showed the lady a picture of a picture of the nails i wanted to do. they were colored french with a line on top. she told me $110!! i've been to plenty other nail salons with similar pictures and it was $60. so i told her a french acrylic nails but thinner and to take off the set i had. she told me $70 so i went with it. at first i thought, okay she's doing good. but then she used dark acrylic for the base, and looked absolutely terrible. then another person came over and did the french tip. i showed him the picture, figuring he would pay attention to the fact that it was thin, and made it very thick. the nail was too short and way too wide for my finger. the staff was also very rude to me and kept looking at me in a certain way. not friendly at all. not going back. read more

This is usually my first place of choice to have my nails done, but lately the service has been horrible. Tina, Dan and the other young lady have been very rough and hurried while doing my nails. After telling them they are hurting me, they just go right back to doing the same thing. Even to the point of drawing blood. Sadly no apologies were offered nor any attempt to clean off the blood. I don't normally leave reviews, but after 3 visits with the same bad experience, I felt I should speak out. Maybe they will read this and make some changes. read more

This was the WORST experience I've ever had at a nail salon. I went to get my nails done on Sunday August 9th 2020. The nail tech did not listen to ANYTHING I told her I wanted done. I told her i wanted SNS in Nude color. She gave me pink! Before she started, when I saw the PINK powder..I stopped her and said "remember I wanted nude?" She looked like she didnt understand I told her "i do not like pink, I want nude." She told me "It dry clear" her being the nail tech I trusted that my nails would NOT be pink. They were PINK. She asked me if I was happy with the nails and I said "no but at this point, I've been here for 2.5 hours and I am ready to go." The owner TINA came to me said "come back and fix it to the right color." Fine. I went back, because when you spend $55 on nails you want what you pay for! Monday August 10TH I went back. They still did not give me nude. Instead they are a cloudy clear. At this point I just wish I went somewhere else. I get home. Literally walk in the door and my fiancée wanted to see my nails. My thumb nail is cracked. I call. Reschedule becauae they want to fix it. Go back Tuesday August 11th and a male tech fixed my thumb nail. Wednesday August 12th my middle finger nail CRACKS!...I WANT MY MONEY BACK. Tina keeps telling me to come back and get it fixed. I am a full time preschool teacher, full time mom and part time Doordasher. I do not want to keep going to a nail salon EVERY OTHER DAY. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE. read more

OMG I can't tell you how much I love this place! I just got done with a pedicure and SNS. It was my first pedicure there and it certainly won't be my last! It was by far the BEST pedicure I've ever had. They are so gentle I actually started to doze off. They really take their time and pay close attention to details. i'm really disappointed that i had such an awful time, as an old friend used to go here and her nails were always so nice and she spoke highly of her nail tech tina. i made an appointment with her specifically but someone else ended up doing my nails. i never got her name but she cut me multiple times with he nail file and e-file and even tried working on me as my finger bled. when i asked if she could bring me something to clean my cuts with she sprayed a tiny bit of alcohol and wouldn't let me get up to wash my hands. she's even laughed off me getting cut while saying insincere 'sorry's'. she ended up putting NAIL GLUE on one of my cuts to stop the bleeding. i have never had service like this in my life. i overheard that the salon as a whole had an awful work day, but that doesn't excuse the nails tech's behavior. i left a google review and i've attached their response below. they did not once acknowledge the pain their nail tech put me in. i have attached picture of the fingers she cut that we're easily visible, though they are no longer bleeding, they are deeper than they appear and still burn. i would not recommend this salon. read more

I was hoping for a better experience based on other reviews, but I was pretty disappointed. I don't get manicures very often, but look forward to the whole experience. Tina did my nails, and they looked fine, but there was no "manicure" to speak of, she went right into polishing my nails. I went in with rough, dry hands, and left with dry, rough hands.Cuticles weren't trimmed at all. I did read where some customers were offered beverages, but I had no such offer. For 45 dollars (before tip) I expect more. I will not be going back. read more

The store and atmosphere was great and my nail tech was very nice but you couldn't water board me into coming back. I got an acrylic full set, almond shaped and chrome powder. About halfway through getting my nails done I'm not sure how it happened but the base polish over the acrylic powder got messed up and was set that way under the lamp when my tech was finished he goes "oh you did that" and then offered to take them all back off and redo even though he saw it when it happened ( I didn't touch my face or phone or anything) . I didn't have time for him to redo them so their stuck that way and it's my entire left hand. He also filed the side of my nail so hard he cut my skin open and it got on the nail and stained it. What really makes me never wanna come back was the price, their website has an acrylic full set for $30 the highest it even goes is $55 for ombré color and sns powder. I paid $75 dollars $80 with a tip. I feel like I got ripped off, even with designs i've never paid that much! If you come here ask about prices and keep an eye on what's happening! read more
