Goat cheese, ham, and tomato pizza
    Dia D.

We had pizza and dessert here one night. We chose it because it had outdoor seating on a quiet courtyard-like area. The goat cheese and ham pizza was good. The desserts were also good though my Nutella pizza was the worst of the four desserts we ordered. It was just pizza crust with Nutella to spread on top. Our 2 pizzas, 2 glasses of wine, and 4 desserts cost 62.90 GBP or $103.

A friend and I were wandering around after lecture and decided to try a new place for dinner. We came across Spaghetti House and took a look at the menu posted outside. We ended up coming back to it since other restaurants in the area didn't seem as appetizing, not to mention she's vegetarian, making finding a restaurant that suits her a bit difficult. We were greeted and seated rather quickly inside; there was no more room outside on the patio. While looking at the menu, I heard music outside and sure enough there was a small band playing on the patio! I went back in and after looking at the menu items, we decided to split an appetizer and a pasta dish. We ordered the Bruchetta al Pomodoro and Pesto Genovese. The bruchetta was fresh and we hungrily wolfed it down. The pasta came a few minutes later. I've never had Trofie pasta before, but it was prepared well (not over-cooked). The pesto was fresh; I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner. Split among the two of us, dinner was about £7 each, so not bad on a student's budget I suppose.

Chocolate Brownie with vanilla ice cream... Nice but SMALL

Busy and homely ambiance. Food always tasty and not badly priced. Slow overall service. Good menu choices. Manager strutting about and acting like a cock! Not what I want to see or experience as a customer, I seemed to be more a pain in his backside as he brought me my main course and forgive me for asking for parmesan, you would have thought I was in an Italian! Worth the experience if you want Italian just let down by the service and how busy it was... DONT BE IN A RUSH! (Oh yes when he served me, my lil waiter was friendly)

Spag bol, side salad, and garlic bread to share - it's a tradition!

Does what it says on the tin. If you're craving a hearty, comforting bowl of spaghetti bolognese, then head here. It's become a tradition for me and one of my friends from work to head here for an indulgent, long lunch and we always order the same thing: spag bol for me, a simple pecorino and pepper spaghetti for her, plus a side salad and garlic bread to share and - if we're feeling really indulgent - a glass of red each. Service is quick and snappy and our food is always served hot. Atmosphere is meh, but we're not there to take in the exposed brick, but to focus on catching up on each others' lives. Outdoor seating in the summer's a plus.

Don't waste your time, food was good- service was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Completely clueless with how to run a restaurant.

Very good Italian cuisine and convenient to my hotel. A fair number of vegan choices which made me happy. The Penn Aribiata was very good.

It's located in an old wine cellar (the oldest in London) and dimly lit by candles. If you are looking for a spot that matches the dark and moody London aesthetic and offers plenty of history, this place is perfect for you. I was very surprised by the quick wait time. We travelled in August which is their busiest time of year and the most we had to wait for a table was maybe 10 minutes. This place seems to be a true hidden gem and more popular among locals than tourists. The cheese boards are delicious and just as unique as the place itself. They have plenty of flavors to choose from and have several different options depending on your budget. We went with the two cheese board and everything included paired perfectly with the wine. The staff was great at giving us recommendations and even let us sample several flavors before committing. We loved this place so much we decided to come back our last day for round two. If you are travelling to London, I highly recommend adding this wine bar to your list of places to eat or drink in the city.

Really cool atmosphere with a low cave ceiling, comprehensive wine list and lots of cheese, charcuterie and some other British favorites. We began with wine, rose bubbles and a glass of champagne- unfortunately my champagne was room temperature which is a per peeve of mine but the rose bubbles were served ice cold in a cold glass?! My husband did enjoy his wine! We were asked about food but they never came back so we decided to enjoy our drinks and the unique atmosphere before heading out
