I can say while we disagreed sometimes on the pace and direction of where we were going, he always took the time to explain to me what we were doing and why, and discuss and debate the important issues so that I can confidently state we arrived at the best legal conclusion for a very difficult situation. I consider my experience extremely disappointing. This review is intended to warn others based on my personal experience. I encourage prospective clients to do their own research and not rely solely on online ratings, as I personally did not find them to reflect the quality of service I received. In my opinion, Gregory Housewirth and his staff were disorganized, difficult to reach, and there was no physical office. They often appeared unavailable, and I struggled to get phone calls returned or messages answered. Communication was non-existent unless the opposing party initiated something that required a response. Early in my case, I was even sent a document intended for another client to review and sign, which raised serious concerns about their office procedures. During mediation, I felt my attorney was unprepared and unfamiliar with the details of my case, leaving me to advocate for myself throughout much of the process. What concerned me most was that the final divorce decree was presented as though I had appeared and agreed to its terms. It stated: "Respondent has made a general appearance and has agreed to the terms of this judgment to the extent permitted by law, as evidenced by Respondent's signature below." To the best of my knowledge, I neither made such an appearance nor signed the decree. I am left asking: Mr. Housewirth, when and where did we supposedly meet, and when did I provide the signature referenced in the final decree? Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this attorney. I would strongly encourage anyone considering his services to proceed with caution and thoroughly evaluate all available information before deciding.

Not only did he show his sheer desperation in attempting to INTIMIDATE someone before an actual mediation or trial was even set, it CLEARLY showed why he cannot keep employees or clients. At first, I was willing to speak professionally with one of his aids, but when he showed his own idiocy and attempt to go after a so-called, hypothetical, non-existent "retirement portfolio" of money (in a divorce case, in which I have been legally separated from my wife for two years), I also realized the countless spelling errors his 'practice' made when attempting to serve me (which also had her wrong address). As others have said, go with this so-called 'lawyer' if you enjoy wasting your time, money, and patience. I learned more in 30 minutes pertaining to the law, but also his reputation, and past, than his so-called 30 year practice. Do you know that a nationally known law firm in Georgia's ACTUAL legal advice was to "Ignore and disregard him"? I could not help but laugh! PS-- He gave His condolences to me upon an initial conversation concerning how terrible and difficult it must be pertaining to my wife's "accident". Only problem?
