Vivian is trained and continues to keep up with her education. On my first visit she provided good information on her application techniques to either create a rounder eye versus a wider look. She asked probing questions to get a good idea as to what I wanted. She asked about my work out regime and makeup, explaining how heat and oil affects the lash adhesive. I told her my lash extensions would curl sideways. She explained why and vowed that kind of application would never happen at her studio. At the end of our first visit I left pleased with my new, very natural look. Three weeks later, I returned with most of my extensions still working for me. I've been with Vivian for all of 2025 now. I'm hooked. I am a loyal Vivian @ Lux Lashus fan! She gauges whether I want a quiet hour to snooze or to talk about life and love. I opted for a combination gel manicure and gel pedicure, which was amazing! The best part is almost always the warm foot bath, massage, hot stone massage and hot towels! When it came to the manicure, it's actually a dry manicure, which I've never had before, nor have I ever heard of them! Let me tell you, there is such a thing as a dry manicure and I prefer this way better than a wet manicure. I have eczema, so I am very selective of nail salons and this was great! The different drill bits that Tracy used are to exfoliate the cuticles and around your nail bed, so minimal cutting/trimming is done. I made another appointment through their website for 07.13.26, again with Tracy, to have my gel manicure and gel pedicure removed and this time chose the combination classic manicure and classic pedicure. Basic treatments as before except for regular polish, not gel. Loved every minute of it! I would highly recommend this place! Convenient location. I decided to go back to my natural nails so I got an acrylic removal and a gel manicure. I can't state enough how impressed I was with their attention to detail during the entire experience. They did not rush through the process and took their time to paint on the nail design I requested. I sometimes don't have a ton to chat about but everyone was nice and let me sit quietly listening to the music and watching people queue on the boba line outside. Usually mascara and lash curlers don't last longer than 5 mins for me. I was amazed at how much of a difference the lash lift provided me!! I absolutely love it every time. It lasts for a decent amount of time too, as long as you don't sleep on your lashes. For some reason, my GPS took me to San Carlos for my first appointment and I was suuuper confused. I called Thanh and explained what happened and we had to cancel the appointment. However, she quickly scheduled me for another appointment the next day and she didn't charge me a fee for the mix up even though it was totally my fault for not double checking my GPS. She is a really friendly and understanding person. The last time I went in, she offered to add lash conditioner to my lashes for free! She plays calming music that is easy to relax to during the lash lift, and also offers good conversations. Sometimes I get super freaked out about people touching my eyes - I'm a nightmare at the eye doctor lol. But Thanh always makes me feel comfortable. She's always a text away if you have any questions after your appointment. About the location: Plenty of street parking along with parking in the parking lot. Her room is inside of another building (the building isn't called Le Lashes), but it is easy to find. I was confused when I first went, so I sent her a text and she kindly met me outside.
