In a snapshot, where's my experience: - rushed service - no prep work at all- just began sticking stickers all over my eyes - Nothing about the materials laid out looked professional; looked very much like a DIY at-home -kit - pinched my corner eyelid with the tweezer within minutes of me laying down - that one really hurt - she worked on me in complete silence. No music or any attempt to chat (the latter of which I'm fine with, but some may be put off by it). She did turn on some music briefly for 15 minutes when the products had to settle, but every song was followed by advertisements, so not at all relaxing - was not given any follow-up care tips until I specially asked about them I would have been able to overlook some of the things above if the results came out nice, but unfortunately they didn't. Day after: - corner eyelid has a tiny area that's red and raw (and painful to touch); I'm guessing it may have been burned from chemicals used. I had mentioned the stinging during appt, but was told it's normal - right eyelid slightly swollen - eyelashes are not even; very jagged The reason I gave two stars as opposed to just one is that the technician seemed friendly enough. If you want to pamper yourself, this place is definitely not what you're looking for. Based on the other reviews, I'm assuming she just did a bad job on me as she was rushing to be somewhere else... I won't be giving this place another chance though.

She uses only high quality products. My lashes weren't heavy at all and I was amazed how good they looked and felt. During the process, she checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable. After she finished, she provided me instructions on how to clean my lashes. She provided me a lash brush as well. I was lucky to get an appt that worked with my travel schedule exactly 1 month in advance, but the selections were pretty limited so would definitely recommend scheduling an appt more than 1 month in advance. Vicky sent reminder emails and online waiver forms to sign before the appt, which made things way more efficient during the actual appt. The studio is super clean and well lit, and man the chair is so comfy, I fell asleep during both my first session and touch up session LOL. Vicky is professional and very sweet, striking the perfect balance between providing information about the process and making clients feel comfortable. My healed eyebrows after the first session were pretty faded around the edges, so during my touch up session Vicky adjusted my aftercare instructions, and they healed perfectly!! She clearly knows what she's doing and that everyone's eyebrows heal differently. Compared to a lot of eyebrow artists, Vicky's pricing is super reasonable, but in this economy you'll definitely want to make an appt before it goes up. There is free parking behind the building, and she even provides instructions to find the parking lot. She also offered me the option to reschedule my touch up session if I wasn't comfortable driving in stormy weather (this was when the Bay Area was getting battered and flooded by back to back storms), and I was so touched by her thoughtfulness. Tina was super communicative throughout the whole process, from the initial booking to the appointment to the touch ups. She made sure I was comfortable with every step in the process. There were moments when I felt like I was being scratched, but to be expected when getting a tattoo in a sensitive area. She answered all my questions in a timely manner and was proactive in checking in on how the healing was going. She really cares about her craft and it comes through with each stroke she takes. Expect ~4-5 hours depending on your service. This includes talking through what you want, mapping, preparing the ink/needle, tattooing, then any touch ups if necessary. There is a parking lot and it's easy to find her studio once inside the building. Before this procedure, I would say I have a lot of brows hairs but there's not much color to them - when I took pictures, it looked like I didn't have any brows. I casually drew in my brows just to add some color but I knew it was a half hearted job. After getting my brows done with Tina, I can't help but look at them in pictures and think, wow, they look so full!
