I went to Spa Licious for a facial. I was offered a free brow wax with my Deluxe facial but declined because my brows were just done. This is really not a relaxing facial. This more of a I will take care of your skin facial. Now that we have that said I will have to say Sabine is a very interesting person. Sabine is amazing. I was a little nervous because the one Brazilian wax I'd had done elsewhere in the past was a painful, nightmarish ordeal. This was a different experience altogether - Sabine is friendly and gentle and uses liquid hot wax instead of cold hard wax, so you don't feel like your skin is being ripped off of your body. She made casual conversation the whole time and put me at ease. Love this place! I have very sensitive facial skin and dread getting my lip waxed because I swell up and stay red for days! Sabine is AWESOME! My friend introduced me to her about 6 years ago (holycow has it been that long?) and she is an absolute sweetheart. She will talk to you and have a great conversation, not like those other people who just ignore you while you are getting waxed down there. I also had a facial (i don't remember which one it was called), and it was amazing. She will recommend certain products for your skin type, but will not try to up sale you. I went in about 2-3 weeks ago for a bikini wax. Sabine was very nice, makes great conversation. I read nothing but great reviews so thats why i decided to give it a try. However, its not sanitary when she keeps dipping the same stick in the wax bowl she uses for everyone. The wax wasn't so great either, left lots of residue, also claimed to be a "picker" which means she removes the isolated hairs that were missed. As I got home and I washed it all off there were too many hairs that were missed and also had a bad reaction to the wax she gets from a regular salon.
