It is a small and well run pub with a happy hour from 11 to 7 everyday. I didn't ask if anything else is discounted during happy hour, but domestic beer is $2.50. We sat at the bar and Katlin took good care of us. She told us all about the pub and the various activities they have. There's live music on Fridays, but as yet, no Celtic music. Maybe in the future. Monday is music bingo, Wednesday is Trivia night. Thursday is karaoke night. They have plans in the future for Saturday nights. The customers were very friendly and polite. Many seem to know each other. A man showed up and was loudly greeted by his friends. This appears to be a Cheers type of pub where everyone knows your name and they're very glad you came. O'Brien's has a small menu of bar food. The cook didn't come in today, but Katlin was able to cook us up some dynamite wings. I noticed they have some speciality drinks which I look forward to trying. We look forward to our next visit.

I noticed a group of guys playing pool, and one was pointing at me and whispering. Two of the guys from the table immediately come over and start peppering me with small talk. I'm cordial but suspicious. The man who was pointing at me then comes over and starts asking me probing questions. I answer one to be nice and he immediately runs up to the bartender and starts cussing like he's about to fight me! He didn't want his sh** pushed in, so he pays and runs out the door and two of his friends immediately head towards my table. I tell everyone to back up and leave the place. I will NEVER go back and I'll be filing a report with the BBB. Worst bar in Tulsa hands down

If you grew up in Oklahoma, then you likely know about the famous Eskimo Joe's. My family went here…read morefor dinner on New Years Eve - we thought we'd encounter a huge wait like we have in the past, but surprisingly they were able to sit us right away. I do recommend checking the waitlist they have on their website if you plan to dine here - it just gives you a good idea of how long the wait will be and you can also add your party to the waitlist before you arrive so you aren't just standing around waiting for 30 minutes to an hour, this location gets pretty packed some nights. The restaurant itself is pretty big, it's been the same for as long as I can remember and I like that about it. It isn't super trendy or chic, it's got the wooden floors and pool tables and it just reminds me of Oklahoma if that makes sense at all. Our server was super nice, he was on top of everything and had a great attitude. I ordered the frito chili pie - mostly for the fact that I live in Florida now and I don't know of anywhere else that I can order that, it's a nostalgic thing for me for sure. I also had a side cesar salad - no complaints there either. The food has always been good for every time I've visited here. You have to check out the gift shop as well while you're here - you can't go to Eskimo Joe's and not bring home a cup, or shirt, or sweater, or koosie showing the world that you've been there lol The gift shop really is one of our favorite parts about eating here. Our kitchen cabinet has stacks of these Eskimo Joe's cups (which is great for a house with kids) and every member of the family has an Eskimo Joe's shirt...we love it here and will definitely be back.

We didn't know it, but it was $10 fish and chips night, the dish is usually $19. That also seems like their most popular dish. We ordered one of those and also the pastrami meatballs. The fish and chips is large enough for two to share, especially paired with the meatballs. There were 3 meatballs in the dish. They were covered with cheese and sauce and so good. The portion was perfect for two to share. For drinks, I had Chardonnay and my husband had Guiness. Both very good. Overall we really enjoyed Bishop Quigley's. We would definitely go back. I bet it's really fun on a Friday or Saturday night. Food 10/10 Drinks 10/10 Service 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10

The fish portion was large and had a delicate and crispy batter that was delicious. The batter didn't get soft or gooey, or fall off while eating it. It came on a pile of potato wedges, which were also made well with crispy-ish outsides and soft insides. The fish on top of them limited the crispness of the outsides, but didn't lower the score. With a squeeze of grilled lemon and some malt vinegar it was pretty close to perfection. It may take a trip to Jolly Old England to beat it, and I've had F&C in England and Ireland so I can at least compare it to the good stuff.
