Callahan's is a hidden gem. It's intimate and yet has a vibe fit for groups. My coworker and I went for dinner while in town for work. I chose the nachos and a cocktail. My nachos were so delicious! It was a lot of food but I tried my best to eat it all. The nachos cam definitely be shared. As for service, our waitress was very attentive and friendly. She made sure our drinks and food came out promptly. Overall, the experience was nice. I would definitely return if in the area again. read more

Shepard pie is really tasty! Nice bar area with great staff serving great food. If there is any complaint I would say the menu is literally all over the place but everything on the menu seems very tasty! This is one of the few places that a menu with nearly no direction works. The only thing I would say is try to sit at the bar because if you get Rachel (Rachael) you won't get the best service. She was ok, but I basically tee'd it up for her and she still didn't give great service. How you order a beer sampler and she doesn't even know which one is which of four choices? Also, I told her I was getting an app and then would eat a main course and apparently she didn't get the picture Anyways, at the bar all good service. Shameka was great and I can't remember dudes name my bad but he was cool too at the bar. Considering the name he fits in haha (looks irish). This is a good restaurant in a very old building building, in a town that isn't very active. In the old buildings of downtown, it's set up in the middle and takes over a very narrow area. It's supposed to resemble an old Irish pub, and it does an ok job trying to, tho it seems more British than Irish in my opinion. There were several TV's along the upper walls on the bar side, but only one was showing sports. The other was showing Bob Ross painting channel, another some soap opera, and other looked like some sort of country home building channel. Was very odd choice for shows. Wife and I had the fish and chips. It was good. They use Haddock for the fish, which is a northern Atlantic fish, very big in Boston, MA. It's solid and flakey, batter was good and well fried. The fries were good, tho there could have been a healthier sampling. I will say the size of the fish was large. Usually places give out several small pieces of fish, this was one large one. So it is fish and chips, and not fishes and chips. We also had the pot stickers, which were good. There was 7 on the plate. Had good flavor. We had originally ordered the fried pickles, but they later came out and said they were out of fried pickles. Not sure how that happens unless they don't make them from scratch and rely on frozen bags of them. The staff was ok. Our waitress was little behind it seems, as it took a very long time to get our water refilled. Once the food came, she did a better job. For Enid, it's an impressive establishment, especially since there isn't much else other than fast foods in town. It's worth a taste. read more

We came here for a late dinner with a large group of around 7 people and they had no problems seating us quickly! None of us had been here before besides my boyfriend so we were surprised to see so many options especially in Enid. I got the ribeye and it was really tender and it was good but a little on the saltier side. I didn't have any drinks but everyone said the cocktails and liquor was fairly priced. My husband and I LOVE that we can have a night away from our kids, as you must be 21 to enter (and yes, even if your kids are just "eating"). We love that. The bartenders, servers, cooks, and management are all absolutely delightful. Sometimes, we are there for hours and we don't even realize that we've been there for 4-5 hours! The ambiance is on point. It feels like home to us. Anything, and I mean ANYTHING you order from the menu is absolutely divine. The recipes were carefully crafted and it shows. They make most of the food items in house. The variety of dishes is also so nice for an indecisive person like myself. From Shepard's Pie to calzone to burgers. They got it all folks. One of the most popular dishes to try would be the beer battered Fish n' Chips. Older folks lose their MINDS over that dish. Open Monday-Saturday for lunch and dinner. The parking lot may be full because of the office building next door. Excellent pub atmosphere with a vintage restored feel. Clientele is business people for an after work drink & a younger trendy crowd later on. We saw no riff-raff or belligerent drunks. Huge selection of beer but a poor wine selection. A disappointing selection of quality bourbon - kind of surprising with upscale bourbon being so popular right now. We had 1 entree & 2 appetizers. The salmon on cedar plank & tabouli was excellent, the brussel sprouts outstanding. The charcuterie platter had 4 cheeses, 3 meats, plus pickles, mustard & other condiments. All were very good & works as a meal rather than an appetizer. The only negative was the shrimp skewer which was overcooked & dry - a very common trait in most restaurants in Oklahoma. We shared the Dogs Bollacks Burger, oddly named for such an amazing burger! I would definitely stop back in if I'm anywhere nearby again. First of all, Grayson, the waitress is sweet and intelligent and knows her products. The wedding cake Martini is yummy but not like any wedding cake I've ever had. It had fruity flavor and cranberry juice and was a muddled red color. But the price was good as was the taste. This restaurant in a small town is really trying but the ahi tuna was truly overcooked. Just look at the pictures. That's what keeps them from hitting a 5*. I guess in small towns people don't know what rare is (the menu says cooked rare). My suggestion would be if you come get to eat and want it cooked properly ASK up front. read more

Great social pub in the heart of Enid! I love the atmosphere, and what I've tried of their food so far was delicious. Menu is dishes from around the world, cooked with flavor and hearty portions. It gets very busy, but most of the staff are super friendly and keep up with ease. My burger and their breaded pub fries were both fantastic! With the cheeky name "The Dog's Bollocks", it was as good as any burger I've had in Oklahoma. Patty thick and flame grilled with the perfect amount of sear and char. I still don't know how they did it, but it was grilled to well done (they didn't ask) yet super juicy inside. Flavors were well thought out and balanced like a pro -- sweet, tangy, smoky, beefy -- topped with authentic back bacon "rashers", caramelized leeks, mature English cheddar and a super yummy Branston Pickle chutney. My hubby was obsessed with their breaded fries that reminded him of the Americanized "English chips" from his childhood. Our eyes lit up at the great selection of German and other international beers on tap & in bottle. My one issue here is its 21 and over, even though there is plenty of restaurant dining area away from the bar. I don't get it. Families wanna dine out too. Not sure if it's because of some outdated Okie law or what. I'm very much looking forward to our next visit, hopefully post-Covid so I can relax inside and sip a martini or two. The service was absolutely terrible. Our waitress was dressed up as Tomb Raider (Oct 28th @12pm). She was the worst server I've ever had. Never check on our table or any other table. Heard people asking where she was. She was nowhere to be found and when she came back into the room, she sat at the bar and was on her phone. I had to walk up to the bar and ask her for the check. I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of food that this pub has. It ranges from your typical burgers to Asian inspired dishes. The atmosphere was a fun place to go with friends for drinks on a Friday night. It was fairly busy but the service was always fast and friendly. I ordered the pretzel to start and it was very solid with the cheese sauce (3 people can easily share this). Then I shared the Vietnamese sampler and the Tikka masala. Both were tasty, but I thought the best part was the chicken skewers on the Vietnamese dish. Other people ordered the calzone and they rave that it's the best thing to order! We have since moved to Enid and still find this to be one of our favorite places to eat! The cooks and menu have changed a bit over the years, but the main staples all remain to be our favorites. Great place for steak (even over the steak houses), burgers, and drinks with friends! They offer great coupons if you're signed up for them, and we find ourselves with free entrees all the time. Indoor seating can get tricky depending on day and time, so just gage the parking lot the best you can to make your choice. We've only had one issue after all the time we've gone here, and it was when a new waitress kicked us out for not having IDs when ordering waters/soda. Unfortunately it was a special event for us, and really soured the evening; leading us to not return for a year or two. But once back, it was back to great service and food. read more
