I never go to any other salon to get my nails done. Lisa does my pedicure each time and it's always phenomenally done and the gel lasts for a long time. The salon's prices are fair and the customer service is top notch. the salon is clean ( they have staff who are constantly cleaning) and the equipment is well maintained. There were a few just so so reviews but they were older so I visited just today. My mail tech Nina was willing to try something that I requested although she has never done it before. With a few color adjustments she nailed it! However, my girlfriend had Maria and she was truly spectacular. She had a warmth that shone and I ended up getting a lash lift with her. HORRIBLE service. Brandon himself is a complete asshole, horribly unprofessional and has left me now w a HORRID set of nails to go and get fixed elsewhere. I spent $230 at his salon yesterday and left with nails completely butchered. My 2 year old could have done a better job. He was unhappy I came back and gave me no option to fix the length which was NOW SHORTER from fixing the mishaped nails. Got an attitude and told me to "stop talking and let me do his job". He also got onto his employee very ugly for trying to help me w my nail disaster and to just follow his "rules." I will not be returning and I highly recommend anyone else considering this salon to go elsewhere. Horrible service, horrible quality and VERY very rude employee or owner. I have attached the picture of my nails from yesterday and now what I am left to get fixed somewhere else due to his horrible attitude and disrespectful comments. First time here. Was very easy getting an appointment on a Saturday. No wait time. Very clean facilities. The massage chairs actually worked properly! They offer wine, frozen margaritas, etc. very efficient selection of colors, new polished, not old and gummy like nearby salons. They sanitize every chair afterwards and all equipment individually sterilized and wrapped. Reasonable prices. I've found my new nail salon! read more

Don't bother booking an appointment online! Twice now I have made an appointment for a mani/pedi for Kim when they opened and both times when I got there she was already working on a customer. They asked me if I wanted Kim for both and I said yes HENCE the appointment I made online specifically selecting her name!! Last time I waited over 45 minutes. This time I waited over 30 minutes and finally just got up and walked out. What's the point of making an appointment? Will NOT be returning as they have no respect for their customers time!!! read more

Excellent service by a trained professional who was very friendly. I get a pedicure about three times per year and I go to serenity consistently. August 10th update: got a pedicure today. Not even the lowest priced pedicure. Quan, I think was his name didn't even massage me at all.....so yeah. Not coming back! I've been going here for awhile and I have NEVER had issues however the last time I went my gel manicure did not even last a week. I went on Friday and by Monday more than half of my nail polish had lifted. I'll sadly no longer be going there. I feel that the popularity has caused them to hire some people who are just not as up to par as previous employees. read more

For the past year, when home from out of town, I come here to wax my eyebrows because I know I can depend on them. Their service is that of kindness, patience, and attention to detail. They are quick with dispensing the service to me too: I was in and out of the establishment w/in 14 minutes. Their pricing (for the men's eyebrow wax) is great too-best I've seen across Kyle, Austin, and Waco; it's only $8, which is way better than $20+ for something so small. So I had been meaning to give this place a try, I've heard a few good things about this place. So I go there on a day off. I walk in I was greeted and asked would I like a drink. I quickly noticed the place was very clean, and there was a guy walking around cleaning and dusting. So my nail tech was Annie she's very quiet, she doesn't speak much English which is fine by me. I pick out a nail color from the model. Okay so she's doing my nails very fast almost in a rush. I'm just getting a refill on SNS and she's drilling on my nails probably about 5 rounds. At this time my nails are burning due to the fact that she's drilling off my natural nail beds. I mention they hurt but obviously she didn't understand that. My nails were poorly done and I'm not satisfied! I tell Brandon he does offer to have them dipped again. I tell them first off the color doesn't even match the nail model that I picked, so either someone didn't put the right numbers on the SNS bottles. He tells me well SNS powder fades and that it isn't their fault it's the manufacturers fault. Well why would you even offer that product if it can become an issue for your customers. Anyways I got a horrible nail job it's too many nail shops around town, so first impression should be at its best at all times! I won't be coming back or referring anyone. read more

The place is very clean, and overall awesome. The first time my friend and I came here, it was amazing. However the last time which was on Saturday, was a little bit more of a headache. I got my nails done, a French manicure. I asked for the acrylic nails, then they got confused and asks me 1500 questions. They confused me and ended up talking me into getting gel because it lasts longer and looks better. The manicurist had painted the French tip on by hand. I'd never had that done. Well when she finished and I looked at my nails, I could see my natural pinky nail line through the fake nail, under the white tip. I asked her to fix it and she said she couldn't. So I give deductions for that, and plus some of the paint has already chipped in some spots. Minor details but still if I'm paying $200 for two people I'd rather not have minor issues. read more

If I could give these people zero stars I would. Do not ever let Mary touch your nails. She used a Dremel on my toe nails. For no reason other than to thin them out. I did not have gel polish on. I have no idea what her old lady brain was thinking. All of my toenails are breaking. I tried to discuss with the owner of the nail spa this evening and he would not accept any responsibility for the harm his technician did to my toenails. They are breaking so far down. I am filling a complaint with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulatory department. My toenails are so messed up. Also Mary is very rude. This place is the reason I HATE going to other nail salons! My normal place is Alpha nails in San Marcos. I decided to come here because my mother in law lives in kyle and we wanted to get our nails done. My acrylics were done in 15-20 mins which i thought was pretty weird. Not even a week with them and they started to pop off my nails. I work as a CNA so i am using my hands all day doing heavy lifting but i have never had this issue at Alpha.
