I've sat on this review for quite a while before deciding to write it. The manicure itself was fine. My nails turned out perfectly acceptable, and I actually liked the way they removed my previous dip manicure. Unfortunately, the customer experience was disappointing enough that I would not return. I called ahead to confirm they had time for a dip manicure and was told they did. When I arrived, I was directed to a chair and work immediately began on removing my old dip. Throughout the entire appointment, three different employees handled my nails, yet not one of them introduced themselves, asked my name, or attempted any conversation. In fact, no one even asked what color I wanted before beginning the service. Eventually, I had to find a color myself by looking through the salon's social media photos. When I pointed to a design they had posted and asked if it could be done with dip powder, I was told it would require a gel manicure instead. I then asked whether they had a similar color available in dip powder. Rather than answering the question, the technician dropped the color sample rings next to me and returned to working on my nails. Again, the manicure itself wasn't bad. The issue was the complete lack of customer interaction and communication throughout the appointment. The salon has a quiet atmosphere and a lot of potential, but I left feeling more like an object being processed than a customer receiving a service. 10 out of 10, do not recommend. I will begin by taking full accountability for sitting through the service and not walking out the 1 time I was cut by the the individual doing my mani and Pedi. I went into this shop a few days ago. The guy doing my mani and Pedi cut me multiple times to the point where I was bleeding. The requested a specific color, but the color used on my toes was different than the color on my hands (I was reading a book, should've been paying closer attention). The layers of paint were uneven, so too dark, some too light. Very bad experience for $85. I'd definitely recommend you spend your money else where. read more

I went in for a soak off. Simple. I was greeted by a sweet woman who helped me at first. I have a broken nail and thought I couldn't get them done because of it, and she assured me I would be okay to do them, so I decided to! I was content with what I signed up for. What I didn't sign up for, was the younger woman who came out to do my nails. As soon as she comes to me, I feel an immense negative energy. But, I stay positive. I tend to have anxiety when it comes to being in public, maybe it's all in my head. As she's taking my old nails off, I mentioned some nails are sensitive because they broke off and she completed disregarded this and continued to work on my nail, painfully. Then comes putting my fake nails on and shaping. She cut my fake nails shorter than I liked -- AND I SAID SOMETHING !!! and she told me it would look better shaped. I believed her, but after she shaped the first hand, I told her I didn't like the length. And I spoke up! She then got mad at me. Saying "I told you and you said it was fine" and I said "you said they would look better and I don't think they do. I don't like them so can you please redo them?" And she proceeds to tell me it's a $5 charge but in a confusing way, so I clarify -- "so you will charge me $5 for redo?" And she says yes, but then proceeds to scold me on why I should've said something sooner -- when I was agreeing to the extra charge. I had no issue paying for her work. Her attitude just sucked!!! I decided to not get my nails done and just pay for the services completed after this. I told the sweet, older woman what I would like to do, and the younger one started yelling "it's not my fault!!" when no one said it was. It was how rude she was that made me so uncomfortable I had to leave. What is wrong with these places these days??? read more

Let me start with when I first moved to San Marcos my aunt pmo to here and I fell in love super nice super understanding of my want and needs but I have been coming here for the pass 3 months note: I work 15 hr shifts and all I want every 2-3 weeks is for them to get out my stubborn ingrown toenails out due to pain and they have not been helpful note I used to get the 70$ volcano pedicure? and before when they were able to get the ingrown out I would leave $20 tip because I don't understand that it is a procedure. but for somebody who pays almost $100 for a pedicure I expect more understanding. And when I say that I have a ingrown for them to get it out and not tell me that there is nothing there when I obviously know that there is something there. read more

I love this nail salon! I usually get my nails done with an at home tech, meaning i'm usually very picky on who does my nails because I had yet to find a salon that could re-create sets I found on instagram or tiktok. However this is one of the first salons I've ever been to that can do that for me. Rachel is my absolute favorite for nails, she is SO fast and her work is amazing. I never have to worry about my nails looking thick, clumpy or blocky. I also love that they have a reward system so after a certain amount of visits you get money off, it's a small gesture but as a loyal customer i love it. Definitely recommend. read more

This used to be my favorite spot before the name changed. I had an older female tech today. She dropped my foot once and it banged lol then she lifted my pants legs with her wet gloves (without drying them) so my pants got wet. Her "massage" if you can call it that felt like she was not doing anything. This was a pedi for an upcoming birthday so it was disappointing. The chairs are uncomfortable for sitting during an entire pedicure. I unfortunately will not be returning. She did a good job cleaning the nail bed and offered me a drink so that part was good. I will probably still tip her because she is older and it's terrible that she still has to work. The lady next to me was complaining when I walked in that her appointment was taking too long. read more
