She had picked this place since the reviews were slightly better than the other local nail salon near to her. Upon entering we both picked out what we wanted; scents, nail colors, type of pedicure, etc. I decided to go holiday red since well it is currently that time of year. Maybe when you the consumer reads this post it will not be and you can be like well maybe I do want a holiday red in the middle of summer? You be the judge! My friend and I were offered something to drink before we sat in the pedicure chair. We decided on red wine after inquiring of the other drinks we could get. The wine was more of rose wine but none the less it was cheap and tasty. We could of even had a margarita if we were in the mood. Overall the service was good and I liked the color. I had an awesome experience. It started out with me being v late and the rest of my party being there and they told them that it would not be a problem to come on in anyway. My pedicure tech and nail tech where both amazing and did a great job! I've already booked another pedicure and manicure for next week as it has been years and nether of the techs judged me at least to my face about it. Unfortunately it's not the first time I leave this place unhappy. I needed a quick nail repair. (I had gotten my nails done in Austin) but I didn't want to have a broken nail. well first off I waited way too long for that and no one really told me there was a wait... I am in the beauty industry so I know things aren't easy right now. But then I had someone who is fairly new fix it (no one told me she was new) and she cut me with the nail file and to top it off the service took way too long for just that service. Okay, this place Deserves no stars. I used to go there pretty frequently...then about 2 months ago I wanted a full set acrylic with SNS dip powder with gel and after I left I decided I didn't like the color...I went in right after and they wanted to charge me for the whole set. I didn't re due just took off. Fast forward till now, I haven't gone since but I started a new job and really needed to get my nails done. So I decided to make an appointment and just do basic French nails. I made an appointment for 6:30pm came in and waited till 7...while they were all laughing and talking up from on their phones. SpaRenity has changed A LOT since I first tried them. The first time I went, it was horrible. A year and half later, I will not go to anyone else. The whole team there is welcoming. I get acrylic with shellac on top and always request Emma! She is the best, she is fast but takes her time and ensures that you have the shape you want, your desired color and wants to make sure that you are 100% happy. If you go on the weekend, the manager will do a quality check on your nails and ensure that everything is perfect. The price is kinda high but well worth it. read more

However 2 out of the 4 times I've been here I've gotten this particular tech.. and both times she has done my nails they have chipped shortly after. (I do the dip on my real nail). The first chip was within hours of leaving the salon. It wasn't that bad so I just filed it because it was snagging on stuff and went about my day. A clean establishment in Kyle. Made appointments but when we arrived they were busy so we didn't get in until 15 minutes after. By then it was close to closing, so they sped through all of our pedicures. They don't stand behind their work if you have a nail broken even if it is with in 1 to 5 days due to their not doing your nails correctly they will blame YOU and then they will charge YOU to fix them as they act as if you are the problem!! So you pay $40 to get a refill and keep having breaks because the person didn't do them correctly and you go back in to have them fixed and they keep wanting to charge you for each nail ??? that's bad business!! Also they leave the colored powder on your hands from the S&S so you leave like you have been fingerpainting! I didn't think they were through and I had to ask for them to get all of the color off of my fingers !! I still have powder stuck in my hangnail!! Oh....everything has to go through the owner he has to be the one to call the shots. As a repeat customer at other salons I have never been treated like I'm some idiot. I've had my nails done for 30 years now and never have I been treated like this. Oh and if you break your nail be prepared to pay for it and also be prepared to wait for the person that did your nails to finish whatever she is doing because no one else is allowed to do your repair so you will sit there 45 minutes to an hour to get a nail fixed!! They double/triple charged my card. 2 girls two pedis = $122?. Charged me for totally random amounts. 2 classic pedis should've been $28 each (even though we did not receive what that service was described to include) = $56. Card charges were: $64, $2, $56. I tipped both employees $5 cash as I know they prefer cash tips. I called after seeing this on my statement and they called back saying they owed me (can't recall the exact amount and they can't either when I called again) approx $50-60 and said I could redeem with store credit or come in and get it in cash, in-person only. Zero explanation was given for the scammy charges when I asked. I believe if you erroneously charge someone, for services not rendered or otherwise, it's your legal responsibility to credit those charges - NOT off the books. HONEST REVIEW. Let me tell y'all I didn't know what I was getting myself into. I want to start off with I rarely leave reviews for places. I've only ever left reviews if I'm in shock at the business i received. I'm not one to talk s*** about someone unless I truly think that they need to be brought to attention. I walked in about an hour before they closed one day & the receptionist said they didn't have the availability for walk ins & made an appointment for the next day. That's understandable, I asked if I could look at the colors so I can know what to ask for & she pointed me to the nail polish bottles instead of the rings with the samples. As I was looking at the bottles the nail tech pointed me towards the rings. The receptionist said "oh you wanna see them on the plastic nails?" *how am I supposed to know what the color looks like by looking at the bottles when the bottle is a solid white?*. Didn't find what I was looking for so I left. Came back for my appointment & the new receptionist WAS THE WORST. i walked in & she snapped at me asking if I had an appointment & for my Info. Gel or dip? I said I wasn't sure cause I needed advice on the style I wanted. She said "you can sit down then the nail tech will ask you again when they call you." I thought damn alright. I asked to see the dip colors and she sat me down at a table and handed me the rings. I didn't see what I wanted so I called her to help & she put her finger up & said "I'll be with you in a second." (Finger in my face is my biggest pet peeve). She comes over and I show her what I want (clear pinkish tone). She says it's ombré (I know it's not) I start telling her last time I got them it was a clear pink with a bit of sparkle but she just turns around mid sentence to interrupt the nail tech working with someone to show them the pic. He tells her he knows what it is (after he looks at her confused for rudely interrupting him). She lets me know, hands my phone back, & walks away. TONY. MY ANGEL (nail tech that was interrupted) comes over to start my nails. He was absolutely amazing. He made sure everything was even, made sure I was getting the colors I wanted (showed me samples in my own nail). Made small talk & cracked jokes the whole time. Really turned my experience around for this place. The only reason for my 5 stars. While I was getting my nails done, the receptionist was complaining about how tired she was and wanted to turn the open light sign off 30 minutes before they closed. I do hope to come back to Tony one day as his work was a 10/10. read more

I had a pedi by David he rushed through the pedi and was not gentle and did a horrible job I had to ask him many times to correct . I told Trya that it was done poorly she looked at my pedi and agreed she said I would have to come back for a re-do. I went back she called the "owner" who said since they were not there to re-do the pedi David would have to re-do it I told Tyra I did not want him to re-do she said the other techs would not re-do since he was paid for it (she had the owner on the phone) I requested a refund she said they would need to re-do the pedi in other words no $28 refund. I recently moved from Manhattan, NY to Kyle, TX and was in desperate search for a skilled nail salon. I found SpaRenity since it was nearby with solid reviews. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon and was greeted by a friendly front staff who was helpful. It was a pleasant first impression. I immediately sat down without a wait and Andy started on my classic pedicure. He was thorough and you can tell he has experience. I got a nice massage & leg wrapped as well. During the process, Nancy came over and did my gel manicure while I was on the pedicure chair which was efficient. Nancy & Andy, the husband and wife duo pampered me with great care. Nancy was also talented with going deep on my cuticles with the paint (just the way I like it) while the gel color was controlled and thin (also just what I asked). Then, Maria, the owner walked up and she greeted me. She was friendly and genuine and I enjoyed our conversation. So very disappointed! I have visited this place on multiple occasions and have overall been happy however today was a different experience. Walked in with an appointment and was told I'd have to wait 30 to 45 minutes for a confirmed appointment. No not me I don't understand why they take appointments if they are not going to honor the timed scheduled. Totally upset and was told there was no one that I could speak to as the person in charge was out. Typically if the person in charge is out, wouldn't another employee be left in charge.
