The staff was very friendly, and check-in was a breeze. When I first arrived, there was a bit of a line at the front desk, so I went straight to my room and tried the digital key. Surprisingly, it worked right away--which rarely happens--so I was able to get settled without any issues. I noticed signs throughout the hotel mentioning that housekeeping had December 25th off to spend time with their families, which I thought was very considerate. I had no issues related to that during my stay. The room was well equipped with a microwave, mini fridge, and a coffee maker similar to a Keurig. The TV is a smart TV and includes Netflix, which was great. Breakfast is not included, which is typical for a Hilton Garden Inn, but there is an option to order breakfast in the morning. I went down to the lobby to do some work and saw a few other guests, but it was never crowded. The property also has an outdoor pool and a fitness center. One thing that caught me by surprise at checkout was an added "Shadow Creek" fee, which is tied to the neighborhood or area of the hotel. This fee--about $4--was not included in the original booking confirmation email, so just be aware of that if you're booking a stay in Pearland. Overall, I had a great stay. The staff was friendly, the hotel was quiet, and I would definitely recommend this location.

Check-in was seamless as I checked in through the Hilton Honors app. When I arrived, there were several guests waiting at the front desk, so I went straight to my room and used the digital key, which worked perfectly. Nice touch: the TV welcomed me by name, and the AC was already running, so the room was cool and comfortable when I walked in. This was very much needed since it was 79'F on Christmas day!! The room itself was pretty much what you'd expect from a Hilton Garden Inn: a comfortable king-size bed and standard amenities. I had limited interaction with staff during my stay since I bypassed the front desk for a physical key card. Not complimentary upgrade! One small FYI--when I booked the reservation, the total rate was different from the check out statement. There was a local fee listed as "Shadow Creek." I asked the front desk about it and was told it's a local area charge since the hotel is located in Shadow Creek. It was about $4, not a big deal, but something to be aware of. They let their housekeeper staff off on the 25th and it was a nice touch. Employees are your most important asset and kudos to management! It was a comfortable, and hassle-free stay.

This particular SpringHill Suites offered your basic amenities for comfort and relaxation. The beds…read moreare plush and supportive, the suite offers a separate area so you will not disturb anyone that is sleeping. There were some minor cosmetic deficiencies in the room, but that comes with the territory of wear and tear. I would caution to not look at the carpet while you are walking because it is deceiving and presents a slightly raised area which I happened to find every time, so watch your step going to Rooms 302 to the end of the hallway. If you are flying out of Hobby Airport and do not want to stay too close then this location is a reasonable alternative and it is approximately 25 minutes away from the airport and the JSX terminal(of course, depending on Houston traffic and drivers!!)

While breakfast was technically "different" from Sat to Sun, there was not enough of the "new" foods by 8:45- 9 AM, so we only got a small scoop of breakfast potatos & bacon. The manager who we asked if more would be brought out said something like, Oh something better is coming out! What came out was the SAME eggs mixed with sausage that was served on Sat, which we did not like/ think was better. Manager should not be making subjective statements when the item is not "better" for others. Enjoyed having sofa in the entrance area, with a "kitchen sink" by the microwave & fridge, that we could use to wash while another family member was in the shower, where the other sink was inside the door.

I liked…read morethat they have an option to plug in my EV but at the same time I didn't like that it's just 1 spot and 1 option. If they are going to have an outlet to plug in maybe provide more than 1 as the entire week I was there it was a battle with the others to get the spot or hope that a non ev wouldn't take the spot. Then there's the social nights mon-wed that is advertised till 7 but if you don't show up right at 5:30 and you decide to get there at 6-6:30 then you are left with scraps. I wouldn't advertise till 7 and just say starting at 5:30 till it's gone. That way people won't get upset great staff poorly and get snippy with those that were brought up in the wild. I'm not making this up 2 nights I witnessed people be rude to staff for not making enough and someone take multiple plates for later and one for now and guests getting smart with each other. I will say staff was great and always happy. At least the few I dealt with. Now the best part is they have designated dog areas to walk but don't offer bags so either the guests are slobs and leave the pets waste or it's because the bags aren't available either way they should have someone picking things up if guests aren't. This leads me to the lack of yard maintenance the grass was never cut leading to the search for the yard bombs. I stepped in twice unfortunately and then twisted my ankle due to a hidden hole from overgrown grass. Overall it was a 3.8 for me
