I went in just expecting to lie down, relax, and listen to singing bowls for an hour (which would have been great on its own) but this was so much more than that! In addition to the singing bowls, there were lots of other lovely sounds. One of the healing practitioners had what looked like a large shakuhachi style flute. She would walk around and set the base down on the ground, a few inches from our bodies, and play it. And you could not only hear it- you could FEEL the vibrations resonating through your body! The best part was that one of the other healing practitioners walked around did mini Reiki sessions with each of the participants. Even though it was a group session, I experienced PROFOUND healing. I had been experiencing extreme muscle tension in my neck for the past three weeks. I had a massage earlier that week and even the massage did not relieve the tension. But a few hours after I left the sound bath, the tension was COMPLETELY GONE! Such an amazing experience! I will definitely be back!

First off, Victoria is an amazing teacher, very loving, warm, and friendly. Her energy is awesome! She's incredibly knowledgable about Reiki and explains the history and concepts very well. Also, previous to the class, she emailed an information packet to all the participants containing directions, meal spots in the area, a list of items to bring, and other information, which I thought was a nice touch.
