I needed a 50A power inlet box, a 50A double-pole circuit breaker, and a compatible generator interlock kit on my main panel. Marcin responded quickly, came out, explained everything he had to do and did the install quickly. Once finished he took time to instruct me how to connect my backup generator in the case of a power outage. Also let me know that my generator was bonded to the frame and showed me in the owners manual where the instruction were to remove the bonded jumper wire to convert the generator to floating neutral so it could be safely connected to my home main panel. Tested the hook up and everything worked. Would definitely recommend him and call him again for any work needing a licensed electrician. read more

Found Marcin on Yelp while looking for an electrician for installing some electrical outlets (including one for a bidet) and a smart in-wall heater in our master bath. Marcin was quick to respond and set up a time to swing by for a free estimate. What stood out for us was his ability to clearly listen to what we were looking for while providing his insights. He aligned with our desire to avoid drywall patching or repair, talking through his approach. The day of the install he realized that there was a floor joist in the way of drilling to the basement so he went out and bought a flexible drill bit to return to do the job. He also spray painted the exposed conduit in the basement black to match the rest of the ceiling, even coming back the next day when he ran out of paint. His pricing is competitive and we certainly appreciate that he is licensed in Chicago and several of the surrounding suburbs. After deciding to add Level 2 EV chargers at home, I couldn't have asked for a better electrician than Marcin. From the initial consultation to final inspection, every step was handled with expertise, precision, and care. Marcin began with an initial assessment of our electrical panel and charger locations. The project was no ordinary job and required more than 100ft feet of cable from the panel to the charger location to be trenched.
