Ran the FJ Cruiser through Sunday afternoon 1/12/2020, and this is how our windshield came out and we purchased "The Works"!!! Well....it clearly did NOT work!!! This place is honestly hit or miss, but that greatly depends on who is working and it sends you through way too fast for it to actually do a good job. An automatic car wash is NOT convenient if you have to do it yourself afterwards. ***I'd love our money back*** SUGGESTIONS: do more prep before you send the cars through. Take your time with EVERY car. SLOW DOWN that conveyor speed (regardless of how busy you get) because I want my car to actually be CLEAN and dry when it comes out! Rip-Off. Didn't even get the car wet. The least expensive touch less wash is $10 and the bottom 1/3 of my car is still dry and covered in dust. There was bird poop on the windshield before the wash and it's still there after the wash. What a complete waste. read more

This is the worst touch free car wash I've ever been to. Avoid at all costs. Paid $18 for the best wash they have, and you can see the results in the pictures taken right after I went though. Car is still filthy. Can't believe this place might have repeat customers. Additionally, the card reader did not work after waiting in line for 15 mins. This business is just awful. read more

What a complete and utter waste of money. Like many people, my car is covered with pollen in the spring. I went and got the basic touch free wash and paid $10. You'd assume that this would thoroughly clean off the pollen and bird poop from my car, how ever you would be wrong. The touch less car wash lasted for maybe 30 seconds, didn't even get my car fully wet, and left pollen and poop still on my car. Honestly this business should be reported to the Better Business Bureau, what a scam. read more

Took my daughter and my car yesterday. Paid $15.00 each for a car wash that stated hot wax included. I never saw the wax come out onto the car. My car went in so quick and out so quick, barely washed. I asked the attendant about the wax and his reply was oh you have to spend $17 to get the wax. It clearly states hot wax on the $15.00 one. What a rip off. Never again will I visit this car wash. read more

Best deal in the area. I use the self service drive through and in and out for about $13. What I really like is that the vacuums work. None of this weak ass shit. Enough suction to actually pull the New England Winter grime from your floor mats. read more

Fantastic place, gets my car squeaky clean every single time. The owner is one of the nicest guys around and I've known him for a lifetime. Can get busy on spring weekends but they get people in and out in no time. Whether you choose self or full service you'll always end up with a great wash! read more

We stopped in just to use the vacuum and clean the mats. The attendant was emptying the garbage cans and offered to pressure wash the mats for us! We figured it was only 8$ for a wash so we did. The staff was friendly and our car looks great! read more

Worst experience ever. My car bottomed out in their car wash, they blamed my car, claiming mine is the first to have ever bottomed out. Never got an apology, hardly acknowledged it. Manager looked under and said everything is fine. I said okay and left. Get home, there's puddles of coolant in my driveway..... Went back this morning to explain the situation only to have the owner yell at me. He blamed me and claimed there must be something wrong with my vehicle since his car wash is "built to wash any vehicle", then said he didn't have time for this and walked away to go back to his office. I admit that getting a car wash on a 10 degree day is not the best choice. That said, I drove into the parking lot, past the employees working there, past an OPEN sign (which had "CLOSED, TOO COLD" printed on the reverse side) and finally into the touch-less wash. The rinse layer froze, the soap froze, everything froze. The dryers just blew air over a half-inch layer of frozen soap and water. I pulled around to find the manager laughing at me. "Had better ideas, huh?" he said. I then asked him why he would in me go in there and not have that sign up to prevent this from happening. "I don't have to put a sign up to tell people its 10 degrees outside", is how he responded. I asked if I could go through the cloth wash to try to get the ice off, and he said I was welcome to pay for another wash. As far as I'm concerned this place took my money, failed to provide the service they were paid to, and then did nothing to rectify the situation. Today I went to MR SPARKLE in Vernon. The touch-less bay was closed with a sign that said "too cold" and the operator of the cloth wash did a great job getting the soap residue off my car. I've been going to Sparkle Car Wash for years. ONE Star for the full service wash. Use the auto touchless lane, or the self service lane (both of them get 5 stars) but save your grief and pocketbook from the full service. Why? The car will have soap left on it when you leave, the car will NOT be dry (you get about 7 seconds of the blower, and in the touchless lane you get almost one minute) and you'll have spots all over the windows and the car from the combo of soap residue and whatever they use for spotless rinse I guess. Okay, why take the time to post this review that's so bad? I pulled in and the touchless lane was 5 deep so I thought I would 'splurge' and get the 'best' wash they offered through the full service. I ordered the Works which is $16, but then he looks at my car and says, "Oh, it's $18 for a truck" and I say okay, then he says, "oh wait, it's a Suburban it will be $19" seriously, are you kidding me? I should have said eff you and made them clear the line for me to back out. Anyway, I get the wash at $19 and it absolutely sucked. The money isn't even the issue, it's just a crappy wash and the service I got was horrible. Again, use the the self serve touchless lane, and if you have the time and energy, bring a bucket and cloth and use the self serve spray lane, the BEST way to wash your car. read more

I went in today to get my son's car washed. I paid for "the works" and when I got out of the wash the car was still dirty. I went back and spoke to an older gentleman about it and he agreed that it was still dirty. But he added that "it was the dirtiest car he'd ever seen. I've worked here for 48 years and it was the dirtiest car I've ever seen". Now, I'll admit that it WAS quite dirty, but that's why I brought it in! I just think that that kind of critique was not necessary, especially given the circumstances of the car: it belonged to my son who died almost three months ago and the car has been parked in my driveway ever since. Getting it washed has not been a priority. Now, I didn't expect this guy to know that, but here's some good advice that he might want to take: keep your commentary to yourself- you don't know what people's circumstances are, and I really didn't need to be insulted in that manner, especially since I'm pretty sensitive about things regarding my late son. I gave two stars because they did rewash the car, but only two because it was so poorly done in the first place and I was insulted to boot. read more

I called with the intent to make an appointment 3 weeks out for a car detailing. Having had 2 cars done there already, and using the carwash on a regular basis for years, I didn't expect to be told I could not make an appointment over the phone. Even when I tried to ask if I could get the appt cemented then bring the car in before then to solidify a price (I knew from experience that appts are made far in advance), he wouldn't even let me finish the question before he repeated the no. As a repeat customer, I am very disappointed in them, to the point where I will return to the service in the town I used to live before I use their services again. read more

Brought my car in after 'something' dripped all over it in the parking garage at work. I was unable to get it off and hoped a carwash would help. While I was waiting in line a gentleman, I believe he was the owner, came up and mentioned the white marks on my car. He explained it was lime and unlikely to come off in the car wash. He said it would permanently damage the paint the longer it stayed on the car. When I finished with the carwash, and the side of my car still was covered with white drips, he approached my car again. He said while I was getting the car washed he called a friend of his who does detailing. They recommended lime away- but if that didn't work to talk to the garage management. Three weeks later, garage management attempted to remove the white drips and couldn't either. Their insurance paid to have them wet sanded off and clear coat reapplied. Sorry for the long review but THANK YOU so much. I never would have known what the issue was or that I could get it repaired on their dime. Sparkle Car Wash clearly went way above and beyond. If there was 6 stars I would give you 6:) read more
