Damage to my car due to equipment failure

We are LOOKING for people who have had a carwash at SPLISH SPLASH carwash located at 540 W. Camp St. in East Peoria, Il. 61611 and had an accident due to being loaded too closely or equipment malfunction/failure. On March 9th, we took our freshly painted Mustang through this car wash with a devastating outcome. Approximately 15 feet from the end of the carwash, my husband notices the car in front of us positioned sideways at an angle, partially on the track and not moving. Panicked, I began honking my horn, slamming on my brakes (which I know was pointless as my car was in neutral) as I yelled NO, NO, NO. This was my son Michels car. He passed away a little over a year ago. I prayed that an employee would hear the horn and shut down the track, but that didn't happen. Instead, we continued moving down the track until our car hit the lady in front of us. By the grace of God, it straightened her car up, so she pulled forward and exited the building. We followed her to the office, where both parties exited their vehicles to look for damage. An employee came out to talk to us and took some pictures. He whispered in my ear that he believed she had turned her wheels on purpose, which didn't make sense since we were on a track and in neutral. So I told him I didn't think that was possible. The employee then took us inside to further discuss and review the videos. We were told the employee who loaded us had only been employed there for two days; therefore, they pulled the video of him loading the car in front of us to be sure she was loaded correctly. We were told she should have been placed in the center of the track with her wheels facing forward. It was evident to all parties viewing the video that she was loaded too closely to the driver's side, which would explain why her car slowly shifted towards the driver's side. She kept saying her car shifted. While viewing the video, it was evident that the driver had not turned her steering wheel to cause this accident. We were asked for our contact information, which we both provided, and told the manager would be in touch. When we never received a call from the manager, we began trying to contact him and left messages but he wouldn't return our calls. My husband went to the police department and was advised to report it to our insurance company, which we did. The insurance company advised that it would go on my driving record as an at-fault accident. I wasn't even driving my vehicle, and my insurance premium will increase. This wasn't fair, so I filed a report with the attorney general. I then called the manager again to make him aware that I had filed a complaint. After leaving a message I immediately received a call from the employee who had shown us the videos the day of the incident. He scheduled an appointment for me to meet with the manager the next day at 10 am. When I arrived, he wasn't there. The employee used his phone to call him and let me talk to him. He said he manages four other buildings and couldn't be there. I told him it was unprofessional to make an appointment with me and then not show up or cancel. I told him that my insurance company advised me that he had hung up on her when she called him and that I would send him an email listing the information my insurance company requested, and he assured me that he would provide it. The requested items were the company's liability insurance, the contact information for the other party, an incident report, and the videos of the cars being loaded and continuing down the track until they exit the building. I waited, but never received a response. Later that day, the manager called and informed me that he had contacted the East Peoria Police Department and filed a report. He went on to say that he pulled the video of the other party's license plate number and provided it to the PD so that they could contact her for insurance information. He stated that he was told by the employee working that she had just driven off, and they had no way to contact her. I responded, NO, she didn't and explained how she had been there the entire time. He said he would have to pull the video. He also stated that he had provided the videos to the police department and sent them to me. I didn't get an email from him, so I called him back. He stated that it would take time to upload because it was a big file. To this day I have never received an email or any other information from him. Considering the information I had obtained during this dialogue I decided to call the police department to be sure he had called to report this incident. I was told that they had, in fact, sent an officer over to the carwash and that they would advise him to contact me. When the officer called back, I was shocked by what I heard. The officer had not received a copy of the videos but had watched them. He is confident that this incident was due to equipment failure. During the lengthy conv
