Primo water bought out sparkletts last year and what a disaster. Their app is horrible and cost of delivery is ridiculous. I cancelled last month because we paid 75 dollars for 3 five gallon bottles of water. I do have two water dispensers but now they have a thirteen dollar administrative fee per month. They double charged me several times and if you don't check your bill you will be charged twice. I bought water dispensers from Walmart and get my jugs filled between two and three dollars for five gallons. I have a water tester and it actually is better water than the delivered water. If I could it would be a zero rating. read more

Worst customer service of any company out there. They NEVER deliver on time- they NEVER answer the phone. But.... they expect you to pay your bill on time. As I write this review, I am on hold with them for one hour and 47 minutes... and counting. I hate this company and I am canceling both personal and business service I have with them. We have been using them for about 3 years now. While once they were dependable, for the last year their attitude seems to be "Let's see how poor of service we can provide before they just give up". Their promised delivery dates are pure fiction, there is no way to contact them, the online chat is a bot with pre-canned questions that are in no way helpful. How is this place still in business? I don't think they have met their stated commitment to me one time in the past year. Delivery days come and go with no show for weeks. No way to contact them, very expensive service considering the poor qualify of service. Missing yesterday's delivery and we are out of water due to them missing the LAST commitment. I have been a customer for over 5 years and I'm done with them. During the last 2 years their service has go e really bad. I wish Costco would drop them altogether. They don't deliver in time, miss deliveries and no response when contacting customer service. I called to cancel and they had the audacity to offer me free cooler rental for 3 months- that's a whooping $12! No thank you! Then made an appointment to pick up bottles and cooler and I'm not surprised that after my partner took a day off to wait for them, they didn't show up nor called. At 4:15, the guy who installed the broken cooler called me "I got a text just now that your cooler isn't heating?". Really? You were supposed to be here to replace it by 2... Sparklett's residential & Customer Service is the Worst Ever! Our first water dispenser lasted two months before it stopped working. I hade to take a day off of work to wait all day for a replacement which actually is the cost of what I would pay for service for the year. They have no windows of time for service, you have to wait the entire day 8-5 and hope they arrive in the morning so your day isn't wasted waiting! The new replacement delivered doesn't work either! I started this service through Costco in Sparks Nevada and had wonderful experience! Driver was amazing customer service amazing. We moved to Bakersfield California and had our service transfered. They are called Sparkletts here in CA. First delivery here they delivered purified which is not my order but didnt say anything but left note for next delivery on empties that we pay for spring water. Next delivery i watched the delivery come to door and after he left went out and he took empties but left no waters. I called customer service number and they said my account was past due. I told them I have been on auto pay for over a year and that was incorrect. Turns out they never transfered my auto pay but they never told me to do that they stated I just needed to update my new address that it was the same account which was untrue! She offered for me to pay $25 dollars of the $200 to start my service back up which was not the problem they should have been taking the money monthly like we had set up before. I gave her my credit card and told her to pay the account full and deliver my water. I did not receive my water for another two days for one of their mistakes! they stated that they could not call the delivery driver and tell him to come back. So then today I go see the delivery truck come in to deliver water to my neighbor so I bring my dogs in so they don't bark and I go outside to get my bottles and my empties are still there again! He delivered to everyone else around me and skipped me. So I called the customer service number again waited on hold for 40 minutes and they said that they would contact the delivery driver but they can't guarantee that he will come back today. Will that doesn't help me we're out of water! I pay for service I do my part of putting my bottles out and having my order updated on my online account they should be delivering when they say they're going to. So now here we are in the middle of the covid-19 pandemic where water is scarce but I don't worry because I have a water delivery service but I guess I should start worrying now. The customer service that I have received thus far is deplorable. I ordered my water service weeks ago and have yet to receive any water. It was originally scheduled for Friday, March 20, 2020. However, without warning it was further pushed back to Tuesday, March 24th, 2020. Keep in mind that I only know this because I called the customer care department, no one bothered to contact me. I did finally receive an email on Monday the 23rd saying that my first delivery would be the following day. Great! I was excited to finally receive my order. But no, once again the delivery driver did not show, no call, no notice of any kind. I again called the customer service department only to find out that the delivery manager, Jason, had canceled my account. This was too much, and the customer care associate I spoke to didn't even have the courtesy to apologize. Now, I am told that it will be another week before my water is delivered. I understand that the Covid-19 has everyone scrambling to meet customer's needs, but there is no excuse for the way my account has been handled. I have a request to talk to the Route Manager, but I doubt they will even bother to call me back. I will be sending as many complaints to as many departments as I can find. If this is the way these people run their business, I want to make sure as little people as possible are affected by their lack of professionalism. read more

Please be aware of this company. They will start to deliver more and more water bottles and bill you hoping you don't notice. That is until you get the bill. I got this service through Costco & never in a million years did I think they would be trying to scam there customers in this way. My bill was over $200 dollars for a 3 bottles a month contract. Then when you call to ask about your bill they give you the run around place you on hold for 30 minutes or more hoping you'll just hang up. Sparkletts has double charged him - for both his water and mine, even though he pays for my water every month. Zero stars when we first started getting the water the guy was an hour late and I was at work and instead of leaving it on the front porch he put it in my back yard. Even with my beware of dog sign he is lucky he didn't get bit or let my dog out. Then I am now trying to cancel the service I put it out a day early for the guy to pick up now it is two days after pick up and they are saying the equipment wasn't outside for pick up and want to charge me for it! Now trying to get them to reschedule pick up and they said it won't be for another week! The people are rude and never on time I scheduled it so I would be home to receive it not once have they been on time! Terrible customer service! Never answer the phone or return calls. Extremely unprofessional! Agreed to hold off on depositing payment until the 3rd then deposited it anyway. When I called to complain, they basically said Too Bad. This is after Months of trying to wrangle the auto pay into a date After payday instead of before (they bill every 28 days, I'm paid once a month) and months of them holding the check, as agreed, they screw up & I have to pay for it without even an apology! I wish there was a way to put less than 1 Star. for Costco Services Sparkletts water services, they are ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Customer Service is unreachable and when you do get them on the line, they really can't help you. I WAITED 2 HOURS and 14 MINUTES ON HOLD. They never deliver what they are supposed to deliver and when I set up a repair/replace call for a leaky dispenser...THEY DIDNT SHOW after giving me a 6 hour window. I missed a half day of work and they have nothing to tell me except we can reschedule another technician in 6 days. They are rude and when I asked for the Reps last name, they all refused to give it to me. (Kind of Shady if you ask me) I have spoke with 5 different representatives. Christopher, Victor(RUDE and helpless) Sierra(supposedly a supervisor), James Mead(sales rep because I tried every angle to get help and finally Nereida who has said she texted the technician to come out tomorrow AGAIN, but no promises it would probably be in 6 days. I am ready to walk in to Costco( I can't believe they put their name on this kind of service) and tell them to shove it where the sun doesn't shine. And all of that is just the beginning...they never deliver what they are supposed to deliver when they are supposed to deliver it! Take my advise, DO NOT USE COSTCO SPARKLETTS SERVICES. Don't know if Direct Services are any better, but when I called them I immediately got a warm voice on the phone in customer service....who then couldn't help me because I was signed up through Costco Services. Update: Went and spoke with someone locally. A driver called me that afternoon and set up my account for me. He let me know that they only deliver where I live once a month. Which is totally fine it just would of been nice to know the first time around so I could of had plenty of water. The driver gave me his cell number just in case I ever needed anything. It's been about 6 months and it's been great! Awful!!! It's only been 3 months since I started with them and I've never received my water delivery on time. Last month I was completely out of water and had to call three days in a row because they didn't deliver my water when they were suppose to. I thought maybe it was just a fluke? Nope it wasn't! This month I was suppose to receive my water on Monday (today is Thursday) and still no water. I've called every day since Monday and they told me it would be here Tuesday, Wednesday and then maybe today but for sure Friday. So once again I am out of water. I called for the forth time this week and just told them to cancel my service. It's always a different excuse as to why I haven't received my water delivery. If your short staffed or can't do it then don't offer it! read more

If i could have given it no stars or minus stars I would have. This is one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with. I didn't get a water delivery for over 5 weeks, yet I got a bill for $52.00. When I called to complain, I waited a total of 47 minutes, and they said they would look into it. The following week I hadn't heard anything so I called back and this time I waited 54 minutes, needless to say, I was pretty upset by the time I got a response, so I just immediately asked for a supervisor. She informed me they were all busy, so I told her I wanted a supervisor to call me immediately and that it would be later on that same day......I did not get a call. Figuring they were really busy I cancelled a dentist appt the following day thinking they would call me......they did not call. I have made a total of 5 requests to have a supervisor call me....two was by phone, I also wrote a hand written letter, and 2 were thru their website. Still no call, yet last week I got a note from them that says my bill is seriously overdue. Not only that but they force you to have a computer because they were going to charge me $2.00 a month to get a paper bill. I told them when they can stop all my junk and garbage mail that others waste paper on then I might think about it. Not only that but they are charging $10.00 for a 5-gallon jug of water. From now on I just go to the store and put my $1.25 in the machine and I get 5 gallons of water that way. It's almost as much as gas can you believe that? This company is the worst I have ever dealt with, and no I am not paying the $52.00 bill. read more

Horrible just horrible! Not only did we not get our water delivered when we were supposed to we had to have a manager come out & deliver it since it never came. When the bill came it was for months that we didnt receive our water. Customer service never had answers as to what was going on & always promised to call back the following day with answers & never called back then when i would call them back after waiting a couple days they had no idea they were supposed to be calling us back or that there was ever an issue. We ended up with 2 months of service that according to them was worth $400+! Never again. The worst experience dealing with a company, since my first order I had delivery problems. Then first bill came and was completely wrong. Second delivery came in and got expensive water without requesting and had to cancel delivery for following month due to large unexpected delivery. Next bill after 2months was incorrect once again and rep assisting me noticed over billing with incorrect cooler charges. I could not get a break from contacting them each month. What finally made me decide to cancel was delivery date was changed without prior notification. I was fed up and finally cancelled this service. Nestle has been great ever since I switched to their delivery service. I DONT RECOMMEND SPARKLETTS! read more
