I had never been here and decided to try it as I was in town and had time to spend. Took my 3 week old 2026 truck in. The gentleman who greeted me was beyond friendly. He asked if I had been there and when I said no, he explained everything to me. I went inside to pay and spoke to several other employees. Each of them were as friendly and funny as the rest. While waiting, I took some time to look around the facility. I was surprised by how clean it was. Even the men's bathroom was pretty clean. I drive through dusty areas every day. They did a great job for what I consider not much cost. My truck looked as good as it did when I left the dealership! And it was fast. If I lived closer, I would have bought the membership. As it is, I'll definitely be stopping in anytime I find myself in Bakersfield. read more

It was a sunny day today so Sparkling Image was cranking! The check in was fast, friendly and efficient. I was expecting a long wait but my car was checked in & out the wash and completely done in just over 10 minutes. I was amazed! Such efficiency! They have a clean well stocked lobby. Plenty of customer seating. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. You can have your oil changed with maintenance services as well. A variety of car cleaning options. The drying station is covered so your car doesn't dry before they have the opportunity to hand dry. They did a great job on my car wash! All in all a great experience. read more

I haven't been to this car wash in quite some time, I took my car there today and left my center console unlocked, I had two dollars in it not a big deal but on my way home, I noticed my two dollars were gone. I could also tell they went through the underneath part of my center console elbow rest. So I definitely won't go back since they have thieves working there. I did call sparkling image and spoke to an assistant manager and he said he would check the cameras. The assistant manager did not seem shocked as this must happen all the time. I really enjoy getting my car detailed inside and out from sparkling image. I've been there about four times but sadly the last time that I went there, I'm not exactly sure what happened but my windows to my car decided not to work after they were done they were working completely when I dropped it off, but when I picked it up, the windows never dropped down. I did submit in a report to the management and they told me that they would call me back the next day I might end up going to the mechanic the mechanic said it seems like when someone opened the door they opened up the door, a little too hard, which pinched the wires within the driver side door which controls the windows. It was about a $1300 fix to get my windows to be rolled down, so I was expecting a call from the sparkling image for them not that I completely wanted them to recover the money, but at least to acknowledge that there was something that their staff did accidents happen and I completely understand but just to ignore my request for a call back was really upsetting for me, especially since I've been a member from them for three years. I then after a month of not hearing back, I just canceled my membership. I do miss the service I think I'll still go back for a one off here and there, but overall, I was actually really sad. read more

I got the 35.99 full service wash. Went to Lowe's so they could take their time washing the car. Came back after 15 mins and they were done, wow!! After inspecting the wash it turns out the only good thing was the tire shine, they didn't vacuum good, left some windows from the dog breathing dirty, seats were still dirty. I been in town for 2 weeks so want my car to be clean in and out so I choose the membership so I will be able to wash at least one per week . Membership per month is $65 and if I choose single inside /out will be $35 so for that reason I choose that. And if you only want for one month you only need to tap your card at the time to pay no introduce that way automatically will cancel at the end of the month. So my first time they didn't do a very good job. Very bad the vacuuming also something was spill in the trunk and they don't even passed a towel to clean. It was very easy cleaning because I did a home later . I requested the car perfume and they didn't put either. I was very disappointed but it's the only car wash in the area that has full service like them so that's why I choose them. But the second time they didn't put either a better job more that I was expecting. The car wash in general is pretty good offer several other things like oil change, shoe cleaning, barber. BEWARE unless you want damage to your car! Took my 2013 Chevy Suburban to Sparking Image Car Wash April 28th 2024, received it back with a large crack in the dashboard on the driver side. Attempted to contact the company to resolve this issue for almost a month at this point without resolution. Finally received a call back May 24th 2024 from Lisa Sacco, customer service manager of the corporate office east coast refusing to fix the issue due to a dash recall filed with the courts in 2019 that was later dismissed. Not only is a cracked dash extremely dangerous but their customer service is asinine. I had just purchased this car earlier this year in pristine condition, clearly they have only 2 stars for a reason. Do better! read more

I have had a membership for about 5 years. The monthly membership Price has gone up about $15 since I started. So no loyalty there. One annoying salesman always tries to up sale stuff. He asked if I wanted an oil change. I asked how much. He gave me the wrong price. The oil change guy tried to make it right and I ended up getting the oil change card. (4 oil changes) but my truck is big so I spent $500+. I got a free car wash that came with the oil change but I was already a member so I used it for my wife's car. The whole reason for my complaint is that it was a drive through wash only. They don't clean the inside at all. I spent $500 and the best that you offer is a drive thru wash. Then you want me drive it over to be dried off by hand, that way I have to tip the hard working staff. What a garbage deal. I keep my vehicles pretty clean so it would have been an easy vacuum and inside wipe down. But the fact that the up-salesman didn't know the oil change prices and they only offer a drive thru wash, makes me look for a different business. I'd rather drive thru a mister car wash weekly and have it detailed by a small business owner once a month. Price wise it would be about the same if you include the fuel costs and tips that I give. read more

My wife's car is semi dirty, but some cat food had spilled in the back end. She asked if I could take it to the car wash since I was going into Lowe's. I said I would because she takes care of me. There are not posted prices but it didn't matter because I just needed a wash and vacuum. I get the car home and she goes to see and they DIDNT EVEN VACUUM THE BACK OF THE CR-V. Which is why we had it washed in the first place. Hell if I wanted to do a half-ass job I could have done that myself at the $10 car wash. My expectations were middling but they failed miserably. And I'm out $30.00. And a disappointed wife. Their work is great but I got sold on a membership that they said I could get my car hand washed at the Stockdale location. That's literally the only reason I signed up. I took my truck in today to get a car wash, the gentleman that tries to sell you had services should've spent the two seconds told me to take my antenna off, I've never had an issue there before, but not only did it then the antenna it bent the housing that holds the antenna. I complained to a gentleman that was in a red shirt dry the cars he said that was the fourth one this week on a Ford truck that that happened to, so I called in and spoke to an alleged manager, explaining the issue and recommended that they make sure they tell people there's so many signs when you drive up wherever the sign says to remove your antenna, although it is common sense as they're trying to sell you many things and you just told them you want whichever car wash you want, so the manager said he reviewed the video and that the housing was already bent out before the truck went through the car wash. I gave them the opportunity to do the right thing but they didn't do anything nor did I get an apology needless to say I won't frequent their car wash anymore, and I'll just obviously have to repair the damage myself. I would request that they send me the video that shows the housing to be as it is in the picture showing the direction it's pointing in the rubber that's out of place and torn. Wifey was complaining that her car was way too dirty. Being the lazy guy that I am, I drove it over to this Sparkling image Car Wash on Rosedale Hwy. They were offering a special for four washes so I went ahead and purchased the deal. As of this writing, I've had the car washed twice. Each time the car has exited the car wash pretty clean. The folks who finished cleaning the car did an okay job. I only say it was okay because they could have done a lot better job. They would work on cleaning the both the inside and outside of the car for a few minutes. I'd walk over to the car and see that it was still quite dirty. To their credit, when I told them and asked them to clean certain areas more they would not give me any problems. Overall, I'm fine with the service provided at this Sparkling Image Car Wash. Will continue to patronize them from time to time. read more

Not sure about the one on Rosedale but the one on 24th is very good. The car comes out very clean inside and out the windows are great. I was leary thinking they would scratch the paint because I always used the hand wash. But for 27.00 basic its good for me. Yes I chose wax the first time. And yes they try to have you upgrade, but its your choice the basic wash and 5 day after free wash is a fun assentive. read more

Outside of the car was nice and clean. Got inside and the cvacuum job was mediocre and nothing was wiped down. Not the dash, the seats or any other part. I drove back around tl the first guy I saw. I wanted to clarify that this was a $35 car wash. He said "so you don't like it?" I said "if this is what $35 buys, I just want to know so I never come back. " He said he would redo it. After another 30 minutes I noticed my car sitting. No one had alerted me it was done. I got in and they vacuumed a little more, but still not all the way, and that was it. I choose the $69.99 wax option and was able to see my car while the service was preformed. They only waxed the sides of my car and not the mirrors, front bumper, or hood. When they said my car was ready I walked over and noticed bugs and unwashed parts on the hood and asked how could it have been waxed if it was still dirty. The man stared at me and did not answer. We used Sparkling Image on White Lane a few years ago for a full detail, and were amazed. They got YEARS worth of stains off of the upholstery, and made the car look new. This time, we took our 1 year old car to the location on Rosedale and were incredibly disappointed. We paid $165 for the "bumper to bumper" detail. While the seats looked vacuumed, every single spot and stain were still present. The floor mats (which were part of the package we paid for) barely looked wiped down. The trunk wasn't even vacuumed (and while I'm aware we would have had to pay for the higher priced detail for the trunk to be detailed, the package was supposed to come with a full interior vacuum regardless). There was still mud caked on the exterior. The pull down cupholder in the backseat hadn't been wiped down OR included in the upholstery cleaning. Had I paid for a standard $35 car wash none of this would have bothered me. However, paying $165 to have parts of the car clearly not touched was infuriating. Unfortunately, by the time the car was done we had to leave immediately, and so it wasn't until we got home that we started to see where certain things hadn't even been cleaned, let alone detailed. While we may go back to the White Lane location, I can not recommend the Rosedale location at all. It was very disappointing. read more

My boyfriend brought his car in to get cleaned before going on a trip and once he went back to go get the car - the manager in charge told him the cd player got jammed and so it wouldn't load or unload. He was then further told that there's nothing else they could do about the damage they've done. Really bad service. It was a $50 detailing of the car and they treat it like that? Unbelievable. Paid 40 dollars for a car wash. Finished and noticed there was still a ton of areas in my car not vacuumed or even wiped down. Asked about it and was given the run around. One guy did a half ass job trying to make it right. The more I noticed, the more unhappy I became so I went back. The manager told me "well for the 36.99 package, we just give the vinyl a quick wipe down and a quick vacuuming job". So, he basically told me if I wanted my car cleaned properly, I'd have to pay 60 dollars plus for one of their special packages. I will never return to this sham of a carwash. I could've done better in 5 minutes in my driveway for free. Edit : Bumped it up to two stars because the regional manager messaged me on here and offered me another wash to redeem themselves. I tried one last time because it was convenient. When I complained to the manager last time I was told to tell them at the beginning that I want them to dry under my trunk lid (which should be automatic, but hey I get it). Just got back from here and they did an amazing job on my detail clean! I just got back from camping so my car was DIRTY inside and out plus had bear paw marks everywhere! I got the $59.99 Dash, Console, and Vacuum detail and it was way better than I was expecting it to look! They did a great job wiping down everything, cleaning the glass, and the floor mats! Also I came at 4:40 on a Thursday afternoon and that is a great time to come! No one waiting and my car went right in! It did take them a few minutes to get to the detailing part of the job but I was still out of there in an hour flat! read more
