At closing on a home marketed as having a $250,000 Savant system, I was told--on the day of closing--that they "didn't have time" to transfer or support the system. As a result, the previous owner retained access to critical systems including locks, lighting, and indoor cameras, while we had zero access to our own network or controls. This is not just unprofessional--it's a serious security failure. What we ultimately inherited was a broken and unreliable system. Multiple TVs don't work properly, surround sound fails in parts of the house, locks malfunction, and garage doors are inconsistent. For a system of this supposed value, the performance is unacceptable. Customer support has been equally poor. Communication is routinely ignored, follow-ups don't happen, and responses--when they come--are vague and noncommittal. Meanwhile, they refuse to provide administrative access, leaving homeowners completely dependent on them for even basic functionality. Perhaps most concerning is the level of control they maintain. They act as administrators over the network and system infrastructure, meaning they effectively control key functions of the home. That creates a very uncomfortable dynamic where homeowners feel stuck and exposed, with little recourse. Based on my experience, Anchor's business practices raise serious concerns around professionalism, accountability, and customer trust. I would not recommend them.

My advice to any property investors or future clients, find another RE agency. If this is how the owner is operating his business and has multiple complaints, it speaks volume to the services the firm is providing.

That "little bit" turned into over an hour and a half wait. When I actually met with the engineer, he told me to come back the following day. I asked him if he could leave the letter at the front desk and when a good time was for me to come to in so I wouldn't have to wait for him again. He said that he would leave the letter at the front desk and to come in after nine. I came in at 9:25 am and it's about 10:10 am as I'm typing this and there's still no letter. The guy at the front desk told me when I came in that he'd go back and check. He went inside and I haven't seen him since. If they can't do a simple thing such as providing a letter and/or following through on something they said they'd do, why would anyone want to us them for other services? I mean, seriously, how hard is it to provide a letter?!?! Very unreliable. Avoid at all costs. Edit: I was getting ready to bitch somebody out and make a scene. I don't want to get arrested so I left at 10:25 am with no letter.
