In 2019, going through Renown, I ordered and had built a 7x20 Spartan. Several issues and one major just showing up. 1) the roof was supposed to be one piece aluminum, what I got was seamed galvalume. Contacted Spartan and Renown immediately after seeing it (next day) and they wouldn't even call me back. 2) man door was installed sloppily and I had to make it fit. 3) they let the bare steel sit out for a month or more and it was covered with rust, the issue is corrosion eating through the aluminum that is attached over the rust and in several places 4) they only used sealant to fasten the optional "semi-screwless" panels to the frame which didn't really stick. The sealant is either missing or pushing the panels out from the studs (wall posts) by up to 3/8". I had to seal around all wall posts to backside of the aluminum myself. 5) the latest... the axle to frame clearance was about 1", maybe spring hangers were wrong... dunno... so the axle hits the frame and bent two of the axles. I am not going to bother to report or expect Spartan to do anything about any of this. But, I jumped at the opportunity to share this to help someone avoid buying a Spartan trailer. read more

I have been dealing with a 2020 Spartan cargo trailer. Screws have been popping out of the panels and the light on the inside of the trailer has not worked since we bought it. A panel on the side of the trailer peeled off while I was driving the trailer. They didn't adhere the panel by the ramp door so that when we opened or closed the ramp, it pulled the panels. I do not and would not recommend these trailers to anyone. read more
