DQ provided the most reasonable quote at a reasonable time. Devis was incredibly responsive, communicative, and respectful. He was reluctant to provide advice on paint colors, but it was clear we didn't like the color I picked out for my living room. After some deliberation, a new color was picked and his team repainted the living room at no extra charge. Another important detail is that I'm pretty handy myself, and most contractors I've dealt with were generally dismissive of women who know a thing or two about home repairs, tools, and the work it entails. Not Devis. He and his partners were great - they listened, considered my input, and I never felt dismissed in any way. The work took a bit longer than expected due to material shortage but the end result was beautiful. I'm absolutely going to use QD for my kitchen renovation soon. Very disappointed. Recently had Bennett replace 16 windows and 3 doors. Sure, the windows and doors…read morelook nice and operate smoothly, however the job has remained unfinished for a month. 2 of 3 doors are not caulked or sealed (I can fit my fingers between the frame and wall) and all of the windows were left without caulk not to mention entirely skipping the touch up paint. The windows/doors look fine from afar, but they let bugs inside. I was under the impression Bennett was coming back to finish up and also deliver a door handle they ordered the wrong color for, but they moved onto the next project and have me "on the schedule" indefinitely.

But within a couple weeks of completing the job I started to see something weeping through the grout, it kept spreading. I called and Hinman returned and used my leftover tile to fix the problem, unfortunately it didn't stop! It was coming out everywhere. Soon I could no longer get anyone to answer my calls! I finally had to give up because I had no money to take them to court. This is how my shower looks now. It leaks now too. And I still don't have the money to redo it! I just had to replace the toilet and of course it cost me more because they didn't install the toilet properly and the seal failed because they just globed a bunch of silicone and it rotted. I had raw sewage leaking for at least a year! Cost me $800. To repair! Stay away!! If they make a mistake they will blow you off!!
