The quiet meditative space before your treatment is so zen and has comfy chairs and neck warmers at the ready while you wait. The spa spaces have great lighting and are warm and cozy. Horrible customer service the lady at the front desk was Natalie was extremely rude to me and my friend and made us feel unwanted from the moment we walked in. We later ended up canceling the appointment mid way through because of how uncomfortable we felt. She later groaned and rolled her eyes when we told her. This treatment isn't ok at all. I have been to the top-end spas in the metrowest, Boston and the islands. I am a 20 year enthusiast when it comes to treating myself. Spavia is a gem found at the Natick Mall. I have been an active member at Spavia for the past 5 months (w/pause covid) and look forward to my monthly treatments. The spa is quaint, soothing and the amenities are a nice touch. I have been seeing Shannon for the essential massage and she is just fabulous. Shannon is attentive, talented & hold alot of knowledge on a variety of therapeutic applications. Really bad experience here. My masseuse wore rubber gloves! At first touch I thought maybe she just had really rough skin, and I didn't want to insult her so I didn't say anything. But then as she was rubbing my neck I could hear the squish squish of the rubber. The texture of the gloves was so uncomfortable that I thought maybe there were small sand particles in the oil (like with exfoliating creams), but it was just the gloves. When I asked her if she was wearing gloves she told me that she was because she has a skin condition. I felt totally stuck, didn't want to cause a fuss at the time, but I wish I had just called it off, because the whole time instead of relaxing I was debating with myself whether it is acceptable to wear rubber gloves during a massage. I think Spavia should make sure a pair of rubber gloves show up in their advertising so that people know that this can happen. Giving 2 stars instead of one because other than the rubber gloves, the masseuse was pleasant and skillful, and management did end up giving me a little break on the price. Advice to you (and to myself): if you are having a bad experience a few minutes into a massage, it's probably better to say something to try to get it fixed right away, otherwise it will not be a relaxing experience anyway. read more

After booking a couples massage, both parties fill out a questionnaire with questions about allergies, chatting with the masseur, scents to use, focus areas, etc. Located next to the Cheesecake Factory at the Natick Mall, it's a very nice space with a reception/shop area, male/female relaxation spaces, and treatment rooms. We hung out in our respective relaxation rooms and found some tea and heated weighted neck pillows to relax with pre massage. We were called in and introduced to our masseurs who were very nice. Had a day off from work and booked a prenatal massage last minute. Spavia was able to accommodate me request and I was very pleasantly surprised. I felt that I had the place entirely to my self. The lighting and music is soft and soothing. The massage with Steven was amazing and I then took my time after in the relaxation room, taking a soothing shower, and sipping some tea. Wonderful afternoon here! This is a very nice and clean new location that was just added in the Natick mall. I will say that all the staff that I enountered was very nice and helpful. When I arrived for my facial and massage they took me to a "retreat" room where I can relax with some tea and hot shoulder beanie bags. My facial was done by Karen (I think!) who was very nice and helpful. I got the signature facial. The massage was done by Helen and was also very nice. I liked that on the intake forms you can specify the music type you would like. My appointment was on time and professional and I had a great experience here. Highly recommend. BTW the parking here is tricky. It is by the American Girl doll store so it is a busy area - especially around the holidays. I would suggest getting their early to secure a parking spot if you go around the holidays. There is reserved parking for the spa but mall patrons do not seem to observe the signs.... read more

I booked a facial at Spavia because they were offering an attractive first time promotion. The facial itself was pleasant. The technician was kind and competent and my skin feels great. Unfortunately the service flow of this "spa" was disappointing. The staff were flustered and seemed confused. My name was spelled wrong on two forms after I corrected it over the phone, they gave me the wrong form upon arrival and needed to have me complete a second one in the sanctuary. No one was at the front desk when my service was complete. I stood in the lobby with another guest for at least five minutes. This place is worth a try for the services, and hopefully they tighten their customer experience! read more

FIRST TIME MASSAGE + FACIAL This was my first time ever going to a spa and I must say it was a great experience! My cousin and I got a deal through groupon which was for a signature massage and a facial. We arrived to natick mall and we found reserved parking for spavia guest which was nice. We arrived a couple of minutes early to fill out some paperwork and answer some questions like type of music we wanted to listen to, level of pressure for massage etc...The receptionist was very helpful and she had a very relaxing voice. She gave us a great tour of the bathroom area which included a shower, bathroom, and locker rooms. And the retreat area which had tea, hot neck pillows, books, puzzles etc. We waited in the retreat area while they prepped the massage and facial rooms. The massage was an hour long and it was amazing! I didnt feel uncomfortable AT ALL, the masseuse (angel) was very informative and we communicated well on the level on pressure I found comfortable. THE MASSAGE WAS AMAZING! She really knew what she was doing and my body felt great afterward. The facial was done next by karen, such a sweetheart! I immediately felt comfortable around her and we even joked around a bit which made me feel at ease. The facial was so relaxing and the enzymes used smelled delicious! The extraction process was the only uncomfortable part but the results were insanee, all the blackheads on my nose were gone! My skin felt firm and hydrated, it was a great facial. After the massage and facial we went back to the retreat area for more tea and to relax. It was nice that we were allowed to stay as long as we wanted to. Overall, it was an amazing first experience. PROS: The staff, the location, groupon deal, reserved parking spots, relaxing ambiance, CONS: I guess the only downfall I would say is that the massage room didnt look that great, there was like two paintings and a stand for the lights but it just looked like a regular room with a massage chair. My mom and I bought a groupon here and could not have been happier with the experience we had. The groupon was for an hour massage AND a facial~ such a great deal which I highly recommend getting!! Before you get started, of course you fill out some paperwork. It's very customizable and you can choose the music you listen to, the lotion scent that they'll use, and even if you'd prefer not to be talked to while you're getting the massage. I was very impressed with this. The spa studio itself is so calming and very clean. When you go in the back, there's a women's retreat area where there is a shower, changing area and waiting room with hot tea, water, warm neck wraps, and great reading material. You're provided with slippers and a robe. I didn't have to wait too long before my masseuse, Samantha, came to get me. Samantha was wonderful! I've gotten a good amount of massages and without a doubt she has given me one of the best ones I've ever had. She was so friendly, cheerful, and did a great job checking in on me and working areas of my body that were more tense. My mom had Angel Marie for her masseuse and she couldn't stop raving about her as well! As for the facial, we also really enjoyed that service as well. We both had Elizabeth for our esthetician and she was great! For me, she really cleaned my face up nicely and even gave a nice little hand massage. Overall, our experience here at Spavia was above and beyond. I will absolutely be coming back and am even considering the monthly membership! They offer short term memberships for different levels of services and seems like a good deal if you're going to keep up with the services. She's so sweet and attentive and the spa itself is absolutely fabulous and relaxing. Keila's facial was INCREDIBLE. My skin is sensitive and reacts to everything and she did a Vitamin C and hydrating treatment that left me more moisturized and glowing than I have been in years. The lounge was peaceful and relaxing, especially with the warm lavender neck pillows while I waited. After my treatment I relaxed in their relaxation room with hot tea, dim lights, relaxing music, and a neck heater which staff encouraged me to stay as long as I liked. I've been treating myself to prenatal massages to help me get through the growing pains of pregnancy and I can't say enough great things about Spavia. I find their business model to be quite affordable, and you certainly feel like you're at a day spa and not just some sterile med clinic that offers massages. My favorite thing about Spavia as compared to other monthly massage places is how many prenatal appointments they have. In the past I have had a lot of trouble when finding an available masseuse that is qualified to do prenatal... but at Spavia, I've been able to find an appointment quickly each and every time. I look forward to going again. I've already been three times (Laura is my savior!) and plan to continue to keep myself feeling well in the final months of pregnancy. read more

I was at Spavia Spa a couple of weeks ago as I received a gift card from my boyfriend. I requested a firm massage on the form and also verbally from the massage therapist. She was very kind and sweet however instead of getting a massage I received a ton of cream/oil rubbing treatment. During the massage I asked twice if she could go more firm and nothing changed. I came out feeling very frustrated and annoyed that they would actually charge customers for a cream rubbing treatment and call it a massage. I emailed the guest customer service to share my feedback and they said I needed to choose the deep tissue massage and that was their signature treatment, absolutely shocking! I think that was the worst massage I ever received ( and I had over 500 in my entire life) I will not be going back there and definitely will not be sending anyone I know there.
