The staff is so friendly and wants to make sure your goals for the experience are met; recording your favorite music preference, lotion sent, and warm neck wrap. Let me start by saying the atmosphere of Spavia is very nice. They even let you pick your music and scents. The rooms are quiet as well and have heated tables. Kim did my hot stone massage, which was great. Very relaxing! I have been very impressed by the management. They really want their customers to leave satisfied and make every effort to make up for an unsatisfactory experience! With that being said, Nonna is horrible! My husband was incredibly unhappy with his massage. We paid for a DEEP TISSUE massage, and she used extremely light pressure, never worked on his back as requested and told him he needed a hot stone massage because his muscles were too tight. Hopefully management will remedy the situation, whether it be more training or letting her go. Stephanie did offer him a complimentary massage and a refund to make up for it, which says a lot! The front desk greeted me with a bright and cheerful smile and made me feel extremely welcomed. I really enjoyed the warm neck pillows they have in the retreat room as I waited for my specialist. My specialist asked me specific questions in regards to the areas I would like focused on. She listened to everything I had said and focused on the areas I discussed with her and she still made the time to work on other areas I wasn't even aware of how tense they were. She suggested to add the hyper volt add on and it was such an amazing addition to my service. I felt so amazing and loose after my massage. My specialist walked me through some stretches to do at home to work on my problem areas. She was so helpful! I will definitely be going back for more services. I keep hearing amazing things from people who received facials here and I am excited to see what the hype is about. When it was time to check out, the front desk made check out super smooth and stress free so I went home feeling so relaxed! I will definitely be sending my friends and family here! read more

Equalvalent to simply driving down the tollway casting my $150 to the wind! ....To begin... Even before showing up at this spot, I did my research on Yelp. Now, the thought has crossed my mind that just maybe many of the reviews were written by family & friends. Anyway... In preparation for my visit, I phoned and spoke to the receptionist. I told her that I wanted to be booked for a 100 minute massage with someone who did not have too many folks scheduled before me, so that he/she would not be too tired by the time that they worked on me. Also, I wanted someone who had a firm touch. The receptionist assured me that they could accommodate my request. When I arrived, I made mention that I had come early to shower and relax before my massage. The shower area had absolutely no place to hang a robe; and, the changing area was extremely cramped. Where I waited offered only hot beverages which was odd, since it is the middle of summer. Next was the massage~ Unfortunately, my therapist who indeed was very polite...seemed to have run out of steam about 45-50 minutes in to it...and, from that point on, it felt like I was simply having lotion rubbed on me. I could have stayed at home and done that for myself. Afterwards, when I checked out, the receptionist asked how my massage was. I replied, 'just okay'. And, she said, 'great' and proceeded to check me out. At this point, I realized that it would have been a waste of my breathe to go in to any further detail. Plus, I was trying to salvage any sort of stress relief that might have occured during the session instead of adding tension. Lastly, I asked about the cupcake that I had been told about when I initially phoned. As it turns out, it was stale. A fitting ending to Spavia : ( p.s. When I originally phoned, I also asked about the discount offered for first-timers on the website...and, I was informed that it was only applicable to the 60-minute massage...but, it was not for those who apparently were staying almost twice as long & spending considerably more money. I absolutely loved every part of my experience at Spavia. When you come in for your first appointment they offer you a warm neck wrap while you fill out your information and massage preferences on an iPad. I really appreciated getting to choose my lotion scent and music for my massage. They have a great locker room area and the relaxation area while waiting before/after your treatments was very comfortable with hot tea and water and comfy seats. My massage was wonderful! I normally ask for medium to firm pressure, but don't usually get as firm as I would like. At Spavia it was perfect. Although I only got 30 min. today, it was great. My first visit to Spavia was not pleasant. They turned me away because the vouchers I had on hand were to be used M-Th and not on weekends. That was not made clear to me when I made my appt. with them. So, I wrote about my experience on social media. The owner, Stephanie, reached out to me after she read about my experience and wanted to make things right by me. Stephanie apologized for the misunderstanding that had happened, and offered me a free message so I could give them another try. It took me a couple of months, but I finally made an appt. with Spavia last weekend. I found the staff to be extremely attentive and nice. The ambiance was extremely relaxing, cozy, and warm. My therapist was just awesome and I walked away feeling extremely relaxed and happy. Thank you again Stephanie, and I will be back again for sure. read more

Today was my first time at Spavia and for sure not my last. EVERYTHING and I mean everything exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with kindness (I'm not sure what the receptionists name was, I believe she's new) but she was so friendly and amazing from start to finish and made me feel so welcome and comfortable. I can't say enough about how awesome my experience was here. The ladies up front are very soft toned and immediately address you. They had me in sandals and a warm pillow very quickly. Walked me back and explained how the process worked and where to wait. I enjoyed a lot of different teas, mints, books while waiting for a massage, facial, scalp treatment, and lunch. Every person I came into contact with was very knowledgeable, friendly, flexible, and we're ALWAYS touching me! While I was waiting for my mask to finish they were massaging my hands and shoulders in between treatments. I asked many questions about this being my first experience at spavia. My only complaint is that the appointment notifications told me what times I would be doing what and it was out of order. Not a problem i just skipped breakfast and was starved by the time I finished. The average time for the escape package said 2.5 hrs. But by the time I received everything, my lunch, and then took a shower I was there for 4 hours!!! I'm not even mad about it! I can't wait to come back! My fiance and I went here for a 1 hour couples massage after reading all the great reviews. It was my first ever massage and his, probably, 100th (but his first time here). He had a regular massage therapist when he lived in Houston but has not found anyone since moving to Dallas. Check in was fine, I really liked being able to select the music, scents, and level of talking. The changing room was nice, I like the keyless lockers, but the rest was nothing special. I was not a huge fan of the waiting room. The music was a little loud and I could hear hip hop music playing from another room as well as people laughing and talking. It wasn't very calming. My fiance was in the men's waiting room so I just awkwardly waited by myself. He did say the men's room was SUPER quiet. I actually really enjoyed my massage with Tracy. I told her it was my first time so she did ask me a couple of times about the pressure, if it was too much, etc. She really worked on my neck and shoulders which have been hurting for while. I feel a LOT better after the massage! My fiance did not enjoy his quite as much. He said she (he couldn't remember her name) did not apply a lot of pressure, that it started out pretty good but then the pressure got lighter and lighter. I love this place! I visited for the first time 3 months ago when I wanted a facial and massage. I also booked the Fijian warm oil scalp treatment and then island bliss foot treatment. From the associate who checked me in and provided details about the spa and a warm neck pillow, to the masseuse and esthetician, everything was wonderful. It's a very relaxing spa and the waiting area is calming and quiet. I enjoyed my first visit so much I inquired about the monthly memberships and decided to sign up. Extremely frustrated. Had 2 appts. confirmed for 6:30 this evening which we planned our night around. Received message this morning confirming our appt. - also stating if we didn't show up a min fee of 50% would be applied = $120. Three hours before the appt. I happened to check my email to see they had sent another message cancelling the appts. No call, text, etc. when I asked for them to pay me the same as I would have to pay them they said" we don't do that. My fiancé took me for a couples' massage for valentine's day. She was glowing about her first experience there with Virginia, so I was excited to see for myself. I was not disappointed to say the least! Caelan was my therapist. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. This is not your typical cookie-cutter massage parlor. The massage is different for each and every person depending on what you need emphasis on. The staff is very professional, and the facility is impressive. I would have to say the worst part of the massage was when it was finishing because I was so relaxed I didn't wanna move lol! I normally love coming to the place and I was a member, and still continued coming because the massages were great. Unfortunately on February 3rd, I didn't have the best experience this time around. The masseuse I had was pretty lazy, I'm not sure if It's because I came at 540 or what. It started late, around 550 or so, but she did go a little longer to make up for it, but the worst part was that she sat down the entire time, she worked on parts of my body that allowed her to sit, I've never experienced that before. My two sisters and our mom went today to celebrate a birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely return! When I finished my massage, Virginia gave me a cup of water. While I was sitting in the relaxation room getting ready to return to "the real world" of soccer games, making schedules and taking kids to laser tag, I noticed she'd written on my cup. It said "Make your life an amazing story of love, courage and perseverance. Create a meaningful legacy." That quote could not have been any more appropriate for me to read today. It was the icing on the cake to an already wonderful experience! And way cheaper and more enjoyable than therapy! read more

When I made the original appointment it went very smoothly and was impressed with the person I was speaking with. Have never being here before she took time to explain and help me figure out what I was looking for. She definitely was familiar with the services they offer. I also was booking for 3 people. Having said that, things went down hill after that. I received a confirmation call, that i could tell was most likely a teenager, and tried to confirm things that I had not made appointments for. Didn't even have all 3 of us down, only 2. She couldn't figure it out and had to get someone else to help. Not really a big deal, but it did make me nervous. I even called back the day before the appointment to reconfirm since the first go around didn't go so well. Unfortunately it went about as well as the first! So now I'm really nervous because they couldn't even see one of the persons I had registered for. My advice to the owner is to have more knowledgeable people up front rather than teenagers that just don't know how to work the scheduling. When I checked out, she was only charging me for 2 people, not 3. Good for them I'm honest. Regarding the services. It was an amazing experience. They bring you back to a room to change. They have your own private cubbie with the robe and sandles waiting. Probably a typical thing to do, but it's been awhile! The decore was calming, neat and clean. Their waiting room with hot tea and water while you wait was a nice treat. There again calming music and enjoy the warm neck wrap they give you up front. We didn't wait long before we were called back. All 3 of us enjoyed our messages and felt relaxed. You have the option while checking in what scent (samples to smell) you would like your RT to use, nice touch (no pun intended). Also, liked the option on the forms you complete if you want conversation or no talking during your message! Again, awesome idea! Next was our facial...Oh my goodness! Rachel was fantastic! I literally fell asleep! I will definitely go back just to have a facial done by her. Over all the experience was wonderful. Every one was professional and very kind. Virginia is my massage therapist and she is nothing short of Amazing! She is very knowledgeable and a great people person! The staff has been great, they greet you with a smile and get you a warm neck wrap and your sandals and show you to the dressing room to change into your gown and place your things into a locker. They also get you a hot tea, they usually have quite a few flavors and if you like them they also have them for sale at the front desk.
