I waited until around 5 days post facial to write this review. --First, I got very lucky with my timing b/c I asked for a facial literally right after she had a cancellation so I got in next day. But otherwise, expect to book 4-6 weeks out. --Follow her easy to understand email instructions to confirm your appointment by text, and also show up 10 mins early to appointment. That's not too much to ask. --I am 40 and have never had a facial before so I don't have anything to compare this to. --I was surprised by how fun this experience was. Really pleasant and entertaining conversation. I felt like I made a real friend. --Viktoria asks some prelim questions about products you use and medicines you take. You change into a towel robe and the facial begins. I arrived at 3:50 and walked out at 5:30. --The extractions weren't that bad but the whole time I kept thinking how blotchy and red my face was going to look. But guess what? It was not blotchy or red at all! No redness whatsoever. She must be magic. --She did steam, extractions, a mask, infrared light, some other electric thing, moisturizer, massaged my head and shoulders, it was all really nice. Cost with tip was less than $100. --It doesn't matter if you go in wearing makeup or not. --Don't plan any workouts post facial- nothing where you'll sweat afterwards. --I have had no breakouts, no peeling, no negative after effects from the facial. My skin looks great. Even my husband said I looked younger. --There was no pressure to come back at any given interval, but I will plan to go every 6 weeks or so. I already booked my return appointment. --I can't think of anything negative to say. Viktoria is really wonderful. The only possible downside I can think of is that due to location, you're not getting the nice spa atmosphere, but it would cost twice the amount at a fancy spa and you'd likely not get anyone as well trained and experienced as Viktoria, so I really recommend Viktoria for a high quality facial at reasonable price. read more

Wow! I just left and got the best facial of my life! Wish I could give more than 5 stars! What a good deal for all you get during the facial. High frequency, red light, other stuff I don't know the name of, extractions, steam, effleurage facial massage, masks, and more. Relaxing!!! In addition to automated appt reminders, I appreciate she or her assistant personally contacted me to confirm I was coming as a first time client and to give me directions(upstairs and walk down the hall to the end). as a small business owner myself I want to make sure a new client knows where to go, and make sure it is a real person who booked the appt, so I found this extra step to connect very nice. I went earlier today and my skin looks & feels really great! Plus i was so relaxed from the treatment. Sometimes extractions can be painful but her technique is very good, very relaxing experience. Viktoria is absolutely amazing! The entire duration of the facial is heavenly. Viktoria radiates good vibes and clearly is passionate and knowledgeable about skin care and facial massage technique. When I get a facial I expect to experience technology that I generally cannot do at home. Viktoria used high frequency on me, light therapy and something else I don't remember the name of, in addition to excellent product and application technique. At no point does she leave the room to let the mask have its time. Rather she does amazing décolleté massage etc--so relaxing!!! I have gone to day spas where for $75 I had a mask slathered on and that's it basically, which is what I can do in my bathroom alone. Not so with Viktoria! This is hands-down the best facial I've ever had. I have very sensitive, breakout-prone, combination skin, and my facials at other places would leave my skin red and dry afterwards. I just had a Delicate Skin facial from Viktoria, and my face has never felt better. She uses a very gentle technique for extractions. Nothing was painful in the slightest--as Viktoria took special care in making me comfortable the whole time. She checked to make sure I was ok with everything right down to the temperature of the room and giving me a bottle of water to drink while she got everything ready. For those wondering if they should book a service here, read on. You may be hesitant to try this service because it's an independent practitioner instead of a bigger, more established spa, but trust me you will not regret it. Before I discovered Viktoria, I had been a longtime customer of Carrollton Square Spa, another highly-rated-on-Yelp skincare contender. A couple of my facial experiences there had been nice, but I hated that their service was very inconsistent from person to person. Depending on who I booked with at CSS, I would get a friendly, skillful esthetician OR someone who rushed through the session, finishing it in half the time and acting too grossed out to touch my face. Really! It was those types of sketchy experiences that eventually turned me off of CSS and made me stop trusting facials in general. Well, I can safely say that Viktoria has restored my faith. On top of being a highly skilled esthetician--super gentle and careful with my delicate skin, Viktoria is just a sweet lady in general. She is a breath of fresh air in an industry where some folks will say mean things about your skin or your hair just to make you feel self-conscious and thus buy more of their products. Amazing! I was referred to Viktoria by a co-worker, and I am so glad that I booked an appointment. She is located in Imagique Salon Suites in Plano on Preston near 121. When I arrived, Viktoria greeted me and have me a form to fill out. She is very warm and friendly, and could make anyone feel at ease. Her own skin is beautiful, so I knew that I made the right decision. I have to agree with other Yelpers when I say this was the best facial that I have ever had. Viktoria gave me a bottle of water to drink while she went over my skin issues and concerns. She gave me a robe to change into, and made sure that I was comfortable. She had relaxing music playing, and I actual dozed off a couple of times. The extraction process was simple, the mask felt great, and she also gave a great face massage. As stated by all the previous reviewers, Viktoria is absolutely wonderful! She has such an engaging personality and truly does care about your skin. Everything she does to your skin, she makes sure you're okay with and comfortable. I definitely understand why she is so highly rated. Viktoria makes you feel like family. Viktoria is absolutely amazing! I was a little confused at first driving to her office location; I was mistaken and thought her office was off Preston Road in Dallas, not Preston Road in Plano. She was very gracious and still gave me the full 60 min facial even though I was late. I rarely get facials, but could immediately tell that Viktoria is experienced, and takes time to listen to her client's skin care concerns. She is a pro at extractions, but was careful not to push my skin too far to cause bruising. She gave me helpful tips regarding some inexpensive OTC products I could use on my skin while it was recovering from the facial. When my wonderful aesthetician relocated to a medical spa farther from my home I was disappointed that I had to start the dreaded search for a new skin care professional. I was not optimistic because it took forever to find my beloved Helene. So, I purchased the Groupon for Skin Care by Viktoria with very low expectations for the quality of the facial. Boy was I WRONG! Viktoria has a very warm and open personality so I liked her instantly. She is hands on and I mean that literally. She uses her bare hands to wash your face, do extractions (she uses two cotton pads and it was PAINLESS!!) and the massage--I can write a book on the facial massage she gave. This is a true European facial. I thought I knew what that was until now. Viktoria was trained in Manhattan by an instructor who uses traditional European methods. I don't know why it took me so long to write this review, but my experience with Viktoria is more than 5 stars. I contacted her through yelp and everything from the initial consult to what she's done to my skin now is nothing but fabulous!!! I started going to her when my skin acted up after moving here from Denver. I broke out like crazy, and my complexion was dull and uneven. Don't want to sound all snobby but I used to have really nice skin and I take care of it very very well. So when I noticed I had cysts in my face, I screamed like it was the end of the world. First time Viktoria and I met, she asked me tons of questions, literally like 20 questions so that she could understand my skin, my eating, sleeping habit, topical use and medication intake. After all that, she thoroughly deep cleansed my skin, did the extractions, put on a mask then the neck and shoulder massage. Her neck and shoulder message lured away any stress I had (mostly due to my acting-up skin). My skin did get red and slightly swollen afterwards, but I knew it was natural reaction to the extraction (if your skin looks fine after the extraction, that was not a well-executed extraction for sure). Viktoria gave me clear instructions of what I should and should not to do after the session. And I followed it religiously. After a few hours, my skin stopped being red and went back to normal. There's also no product selling/pushing. Viktoria is so nice and sincere and I love that from her. Since then, I have been going to see her very 3-4 weeks. Not only did my skin clear up, but it looks and feels amazing. Everyone asks me what skincare I use and I said drug store brand and they couldn't believe me. Until I tell them I have a secret skin saver-Viktoria. Viktoria is really nice and she's willing to work with your schedule. But shes booked up fast so schedule your appointment accordingly. I'd like to book my next appointment at the end of every session so that I know I have secured my spot for next time. It might just be my personal opinion. But why spend lots of money on makeup to cover up your skin while you can spend that money on skincare so you look wonderful with or without makeup. read more

One of the best facials I have ever received. I have been a returning customer ever since she started out in Plano and that is not without a reason. She make you feel important and takes care of your skin well. She is a lovely lady with a beautiful smile, kind heart and great stories to talk! I have enjoyed all my sessions with her. She is not a person who would charge you with exorbitant amount of fees for the great service she provided. She has been very flexible with timings and has taken appointments late in the night to fit me in and has extended a 60 minutes session to 90 minutes without charging a extra buck.
