Sarah's Sweets and Flower Shoppe has a vast variety of baked goods and treats; cake, cookies, cupcakes, truffles, rice crispy treats, giant pretzels, dipped pretzel sticks, cupcakes, dipped marshmallow treats, brownies and yes, they have homemade Dubai chocolate. What's in the display cases are whatever is available during the day. They do not serve pie or tarts, though. No coffee either. Prices for their menu items are decent. They don't carve cakes, but you can still have them customized. I heard Sarah's prepares great flower bouquets and candy baskets. This is NOT a cafe, so the only savory item they have is grilled cheese, with choice of chips or soda. Sarah's Sweets is not a dine-in bakery. This is to-go and pickup only. They sell stuffed animals and character toys too. Minor notes: Their location is difficult to find. They are located in a small strip, next to a busy highway. The owner's English wasn't very good, so she ended up giving me some of the wrong cookies. I didn't know that until I arrived home, because she goes to the back and packs them out of prying eyes.

I would be hard pressed to say I could have just gone to HEB and picked something myself but the convenience factor won and I chose to order. My niece sent me a picture of the arrival and of course she's tickled pink for the delivery and I would never share with her my disappointment. Believe me when I saw the picture I immediately called the florist to inquire. She said she added extra above the general "recipe" Obviously the marketing of the online picture is extremely overblown when comparing each price point. What arrived would fall into the standard category. All I see are filler greens. Would I order again from this florist. No. Not online and not sure if I would choose to go in either. I didn't ask for a partial refund and certainly the clerk, or owner was not obliged to offer, but I wanted to know if she thought that was an exquisite arrangement. She was silent.
